Moves
========

Defog removes entry hazards from the field, keeping Pelipper's teammates from taking extra chip damage. Roost keeps Pelipper healthy throughout the match, which is especially important because it has to switch into Stealth Rock frequently to keep Defogging it off of the field. Scald has a nice 30% chance to burn, which can cripple would-be switch-ins. Air Slash hits Poliwrath and Grass-types for super effective damage so Pelipper can reliably switch into and counter them, as it otherwise loses one-on-one because it lacks a way to reliably deal damage to them. U-turn can be used to let Pelipper act as a slow pivot to get teammates free switches in.

Set Details
========

Near-maximum HP investment along with maximum Special Defense investment and a Calm nature make Pelipper as specially bulky as possible in order for it to switch into offensive Water-, Grass-, and Fire-type attackers more easily. The HP investment keeps Pelipper's HP odd, which allows it to switch into Stealth Rock four times without being KOed. The remaining 8 Special Attack EVs make it hit slightly harder. Leftovers gives it some passive recovery and helps mitigate the fact that it is forced to constantly switch into Stealth Rock. Keen Eye is used only because it's the only ability legal with Defog and will normally never come into play.

Usage Tips
========

Pelipper should be used as a switch-in for strong special attackers that lack a move super effective against it, such as Ninetales and Poliwrath. It can check weaker physical attackers, such as Piloswine, thanks to its fair natural bulk but should be kept away from stronger wallbreakers such as Stoutland. Use Defog when there are entry hazards on your side of the field, but beware of giving Pawniard and Purugly a free switch in and an Attack boost thanks to Defiant. Defog will also remove entry hazards from the opponent's side, so don't use it if you want to keep your own entry hazards. Use Roost frequently to keep Pelipper at high health, as it can get worn down by repeatedly switching into Stealth Rock. Use Scald as Pelipper's main attacking move, as its chance to burn can help threaten potential switch-ins and rack up more residual damage on foes. If running U-turn, use it when predicting a foe to switch out, as it will give a teammate that can threaten the incoming foe a free switch in. Avoid switching Pelipper into status users, as burn and poison damage can wear it down quickly in conjunction with Stealth Rock.

Team Options
========

Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock, such as Ninjask and Rapidash, appreciate Pelipper's ability to remove entry hazards with Defog. Pokemon immune to Electric, such as Piloswine and Stunfisk, can help Pelipper by switching into its largest weakness, although they both have trouble switching into some coverage moves commonly carried by Electric-types, such as Raichu's Focus Blast and Rotom-F's Blizzard, respectively. Ground- and Grass-types such as Gabite and Tangela can help Pelipper deal with Rock-types such as Golem, which can both set Stealth Rock and hit Pelipper for STAB super effective damage. If running U-turn, an additional switch-in for Poliwrath, such as Roselia, is necessary, as while Pelipper can wall Poliwrath, it cannot retaliate without Air Slash. Physically defensive teammates can take the physical attacks aimed at Pelipper's lower Defense, while Pelipper can take special attacks aimed at them. Pokemon that can threaten Pelipper's checks and counters, such as Piloswine, which threatens Electric-types, are good teammates to pivot into with U-turn. Frailer attackers, such as Simipour and Raichu, and Pokemon that don't want to take unnecessary damage, such as Barbaracle, also appreciate the free switch in from Pelipper's slow U-turn. Pelipper appreciates a teammate that can take on Duosion and Clefairy, which are the few Pelipper switch-ins not crippled by burns or constant residual damage from U-turn and entry hazards; Pawniard is a good choice for this role.

couldnt find anything glaringly noteworthy skiming over but

"Physically defensive Pokemon such as Carracosta and Torterra, particularly those that can take on Stoutland which is one of the biggest threats to Pelipper (like Carracosta), can take physical attacks aimed at it" reword this becuase it sounds really convoluted atm

edit- whoops i accidentally c/ped like 5 times LOL

mention Pelipper should switch on special attackers such as Ninetales and Simipour.
mention Pelipper has to be weary about strong physical attackers such as Stoutland, though it can check weaker ones.
mention Pelipper should be weary about switching in on Pokemon that carry status moves such as Toxic / Will-O-Wisp or Scald as they make Pelipper even easier to pressure along with Stealth Rock.

mention more Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock
in electric immunities you HAVE to mention stunfisk, as it isnt weak to coverage either.
mention that more ground-types such as golem and gabite can also help dealing with Rock-types that threaten Pelipper.
mention that fighting-types are also appreciated by Pelipper as they can tank Rock-types attacks.
mention Pokemon that don't want to take unnecessary damage and frailer ones, as they appreciate U-Turn support.

mention an additional poli check is pretty much needed if running uturn (give examples).

also maybe talk about using scald vs. defog if sr is up on both sides. if peli has a favourable matchup against the opposing mon, it doesn't hurt to fish for a burn on the switch-in.

i think its good otherwise tho 2/3

For the set switch the EVs around so it says 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD. In usage tips, replace Simipour with Poliwrath (Hidden Power Electric Simipour is a thing and still 2HKOs). Remove the bullet points in Team Options and space the sections out. Do this and I'll stamp.

TO:
'If running U-Turn, an additional switch into Poliwrath such as Clefairy is necessary'
can you give a different example than clef bc you wouldnt run sdef pelo + clef as they check the same thing

'particularly those that can take on Stoutland' - i dislike this as firstly stoutland doesnt really have many switch ins and secondly pokes like ursaring annoy it just as bad - just remove those quoted words

'Pelipper needs a teammate like Pawniard that can take on Duosion and Clefairy, which are the few Pelipper switch-ins not crippled by burns or constant residual damage with U-turn and entry hazards.' - dont say 'needs' but 'appreciates'

remove the random bullet point stuff

Near(dash)maximum HP investment along with maximum Special Defense investment and a Calm nature are used to make it Pelipper as specially bulky as possible in order for it to better switch into offensive Water-, Grass-, and Fire-type attackers. The HP investment is slightly lower than maximum to keep Pelipper's HP odd, which allows it to switch into Stealth Rock 4 four times without being KOed. Usage Tips

Pelipper should be used as a switch-in for strong special attackers without a super effective move, (comma) such as Ninetales and Poliwrath. It can check some of the weaker physical attackers in the tier such as Piloswine thanks to its fair natural bulk but should be kept away from stronger wallbreakers such as Stoutland. Use Defog when there are entry hazards on your side of the field, but beware of giving Pawniard and Purugly an Attack boost thanks to Defiant. If running U-turn, use it when predicting opponents to switch out, as it will give you a free switch into a teammate that can threaten their switch-in. Avoid switching Pelipper in on status users, as burn and poison can wear it down quickly in conjunction with Stealth Rock.

Team Options

Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock such as Ninjask and Rapidash appreciate its Pelipper's ability to remove entry hazards with Defog so that they avoid taking significant chip damage upon switching in switch-in. Pokemon immune to Electric immunities such as Piloswine and Stunfisk can help Pelipper by switching into its largest weakness, although they both have trouble switching into some coverage moves commonly carried by Electric-types, (comma) such as Raichu's Focus Blast and Rotom-Frost's Blizzard, (comma) respectively. If running U-turn, an additional switch-in for switch into Poliwrath such as Roselia is necessary, as while Pelipper can wall Poliwrath it cannot do more significant damage to Poliwrath than it recovers with Leftovers. Physically defensive Pokemon make for good partners, (comma) as they can take the physical attacks aimed at Pelipper's lower defense while Pelipper can take special attacks aimed at them. Pokemon that can threaten Pelipper's checks and counters, (comma) such as Piloswine, which threatens Electric-types, (comma) are good teammates to be pivoted into with U-turn. Frailer attackers such as Simipour and Raichu and Pokemon that don't want to take unnecessary damage such as Barbaracle also appreciate the free switch in from with Pelipper's slow U-turn. Pelipper appreciates a teammate like Pawniard that can take on Duosion and Clefairy, which are the few Pelipper switch-ins not crippled by burns or constant residual damage with from U-turn and entry hazards; Pawniard is a good choice for this role.

Pelipper should be used as a switch-in for strong special attackers that lack without a move super effective move against it, such as Ninetales and Poliwrath. Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock, (AC) such as Ninjask and Rapidash, (AC) appreciate Pelipper's ability to remove entry hazards with Defog so that they avoid taking significant chip damage upon switching in. (obvious + fluff) Pokemon immune to Electric, (AC) such as Piloswine and Stunfisk, (AC) can help Pelipper by switching into its largest weakness, although they both have trouble switching into some coverage moves commonly carried by Electric-types, such as Raichu's Focus Blast and Rotom-F's Blizzard, respectively. Frailer attackers, (AC) such as Simipour and Raichu, (AC) and Pokemon that need to stay as healthy as possible (no Pokemon wants to take unnecessary damage) don't want to take unnecessary damage, (AC) such as Barbaracle, (AC) also appreciate the free switch in from Pelipper's slow U-turn. Pelipper appreciates a teammate that can take on Duosion and Clefairy, which are the few Pelipper switch-ins not crippled by burns or constant residual damage from U-turn and entry hazards; Pawniard is a good choice for this role.
