[OVERVIEW]

Surskit owns the title of being the fastest Sticky Web setter in Little Cup due to its ability to reach the 17 Speed benchmark, allowing it to outspeed a lot of the unboosted meta. Not only does Surskit have access to Sticky Web, but it also has an assortment of supportive and offensive options such as Ice Beam, Giga Drain, Haze, and Baton Pass at its disposal. However, Surskit is quite weak due to its low base stats bar its Speed, with a lackluster Special Attack stat that only reaches the 14 benchmark and poor natural bulk. Bug and Water is also a relatively weak defensive typing, making Surskit vulnerable to the tier's multitude of Electric- and Flying-types. Surskit also loses to many common entry hazard setters and removers such as Vullaby and Onix, making it harder for it to set up Sticky Web while also forcing the player to use Surskit conservatively until all entry hazard removers are eliminated. While Sticky Web is an invaluable asset for teams dedicated to using it to its full potential, it can be difficult to utilize if the opposing team has naturally slow Pokemon such as Munchlax, airborne Pokemon such as Gastly and Vullaby, or Pokemon that can take advantage of the Speed drop such as Snivy and Pawniard.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Surskit's main role in Little Cup is a Sticky Web setter, thus Sticky Web is crucial for this set. Hydro Pump is a strong Water-type STAB move that Surskit can utilize. It also has a high chance to knock Eviolite variants of Drilbur out, but its 80% accuracy makes the move somewhat unreliable. Scald is an alternative to Hydro Pump for a Water-type STAB move that also has a 30% chance to burn at the expense of less power. Giga Drain provides Surskit a way to deal with Water-types such as Omanyte, Staryu, and Shellder while also doubling as a form of recovery. Ice Beam is a coverage option over Giga Drain that enables Surskit to deal with Grass-types such as Cottonee, Snivy, and Foongus as well as Defog users such as Vullaby. Lastly, Haze allows Surskit to prevent Pokemon such as Spritzee and Pawniard from using it as setup fodder. Since Surskit is almost always going to consume its Focus Sash, Thief can be used to steal away the foe's item before fainting, which ultimately cripples it. Protect also can be utilized, since it protects Surskit from Fake Out users such as Meowth, Mienfoo, and Aipom, which allows Surskit's Focus Sash to stay intact.

Set Details
========

This EV spread maximizes Surskit's Special Attack and Speed stat, which allows Surskit to get out Sticky Web as fast as possible while dealing as much damage as it can. A Timid nature allows Surskit to reach the 17 Speed benchmark, outspeeding threats such as Chinchou and Vullaby. The remainder of the EVs are thrown into HP, Defense, and Special Defense for a bit more added bulk. Lastly, Focus Sash is the item of choice, since it guarantees that Sticky Web will be on the field in most scenarios.

Usage Tips
========

Surskit is almost always going to function as a suicide lead where it sets up Sticky Web, damages the foe with Scald, Giga Drain, or Ice Beam, or steals away the foe's item with Thief and then faints. Sticky Web is important to have on the field if the opponent has popular Choice Scarf users such as Drilbur and Magnemite or fast revenge killers such as Abra, as it can give your team more breathing room. However, do note that Surskit may not be worth leading with if the opposing team has entry hazard removers such as Staryu, Archen, and Vullaby, since they can easily remove Sticky Web once Surskit faints. If the opposing team has airborne Pokemon such as Doduo and Rufflet, naturally slower Pokemon such as Ferroseed and Croagunk, or Pokemon that can take advantage of Sticky Web such as Pawniard and Snivy, then it is best not to set up Sticky Web because it either loses its value or benefits the opposing team more. If you do end up conserving Surskit, it can function as a decent revenge killer due to its high Speed stat.

Team Options
========

Ghost-types such as Pumpkaboo-S and Gastly are fantastic partners for Surskit due to their ability to block Rapid Spin, which ultimately keeps Sticky Web on the field. Slower attackers such as Corphish, Cranidos, Life Orb Bunnelby, and Croagunk all appreciate being able to outspeed faster threats such as Diglett, Carvanha, and Aipom by virtue of Sticky Web. Gastly and Snivy also appreciate Sticky Web, since they do not have to worry about being revenge killed by Choice Scarf Mienfoo or Abra. Abra also appreciates Sticky Web because makes it capable of outspeeding many popular Choice Scarf users such as Magnemite and Drilbur, which prevents them from revenge killing Abra after its Focus Sash breaks. Abra also has the capability to revenge kill Snivy. Pawniard appreciates the Speed drop on faster threats such as Ponyta and Diglett while also being able to deal with Defog users such as Vullaby that may attempt to remove Sticky Web from the field. Fighting-types such as Timburr, Mienfoo, and Scraggy can knock out or threaten Pawniard with Fighting-type STAB moves, which allows Surskit to set up Sticky Web without having to be afraid of giving it an Attack boost. Cottonee can also cripple setup move users such as Munchlax and Calm Mind Spritzee with Encore that can take advantage of Surskit, which also provides more opportunities to set up Sticky Web.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Signal Beam is a Bug-type STAB move that is a decent option over Ice Beam and also deals with Grass-types. While Ice Beam does not receive STAB, it hits a wider range threats for super effective damage such as Foongus and Vullaby. Psybeam and Hidden Power Fire are other coverage options that help remedy Surskit's weakness to Croagunk and Ferroseed specifically. These two options are very situational because they only hit those two Pokemon, so only use them if your team lacks a check to these Pokemon. Surskit can afford to run a Swift Swim set, since it can set up Rain Dance easily due to its high Speed. However, Surskit is outclassed by Omanyte and Kabuto as a Swift Swim user due to its low offensive stats. Baton Pass + Agility is another option, allowing Surskit to Baton Pass a Speed boost to slower Pokemon such as Pawniard, Mudbray, and Corphish. Baton Pass also functions as a pivoting tool for Surskit to escape unfavorable matchups against Chinchou or Croagunk. However, Surskit must sacrifice its coverage options for Baton Pass or Agility, which is generally not worth it; Sticky Web also performs a similar function to Speed passing. Icy Wind is an option that can be used over Ice Beam for the added utility of slowing down airborne targets. The power loss is very significant, though, and Sticky Web also performs a similar function but to a lesser audience. Aqua Jet can be utilized since it allows Surskit to damage faster Pokemon such as Ponyta and Choice Scarf Mudbray before falling. It also can be used to help beat Sturdy or Focus Sash on Pokemon such as Abra and Tirtouga.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Entry Hazard Removers**: Defog users such as Vullaby and Archen can remove Sticky Web while being able to ignore the Speed drop. Archen and Vullaby have the potential to knock out Surskit if its Focus Sash was broken prior. Alolan Sandshrew, Drilbur, and Staryu are Rapid Spin users that can also easily remove Sticky Web once Surskit is knocked out.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Mareanie, Munchlax, and Ferroseed can easily switch in on Surskit due to its naturally low offensive stats, which allows them to take multiple hits from it. Munchlax can also take advantage of Surskit by using it as setup fodder.

**Multi-hit Move Users**: Pikipek, Shellder, Onix, and Aipom all function as fantastic anti-leads to Surskit due to their access to multi-hit moves in Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, and Fury Swipes that bypass Surskit's Focus Sash. Aipom outspeeds Surskit and is able to knock it out with Fury Swipes. Surskit Speed ties with Onix and non-Choice Scarf Pikipek, and Life Orb Pikipek variants are able to knock Surskit out with Bullet Seed. Meanwhile, Onix and Shellder must land at least three Rock Blast hits to guarantee a knock out on Surskit. However Onix, Shellder, and Pikipek must be wary of a Scald burn or Giga Drain if Surskit does survive.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Cottonee, Mienfoo, Aipom, and Onix can prevent Surskit from setting up Sticky Web from the beginning. However, Cottonee must be wary of Ice Beam, while Onix and Mienfoo must be wary of Scald and Hydro Pump. Onix also risks a Speed tie with Surskit.

**Pawniard**: Pawniard can take advantage of the Speed drop from Sticky Web by receiving a +2 boost to its Attack via Defiant. Pawniard also does not mind the Speed drop due to its access to Sucker Punch.

**Snivy**: Snivy benefits from Sticky Web by virtue of its ability Contrary, giving it a free +1 Speed boost, which increases its potential to sweep teams. However, Snivy does have to worry about a potential Ice Beam or Signal Beam from Surskit.

Hey HotFuzzBall, nice skeleton you made!
Just a punctualization: Timid Surskit ties with Jolly Pikipek (I wrote the analysis, and 8/10 will be Jolly), but at the same time it lives even a Jolly Life Orb Bullet Seed with 1 HP: I think you can briefly mention it, as I can see Pikipek as a Sturdy/Sash Lead breaker, killing Onix, and Geodude

:)

moves
i don't think protect is good. yeah it helps with meowth but it's super rare. it doesn't help with aipom since it KOs with fury swipes anyway. fake out mienfoo won't be able to kill after it breaks sash anyway, since if it's running fake out it has no room for stone edge. Imo the slashes for the final slot should be: Haze / Thief. I also don't feel like baton pass has the same utility as the other 2 moves because surskit is fast so it doesn't have the niche of getting something else in safely. Thief is good if you get taken down to sash, you can steal a berry juice or eviolite from someone. basically like a 1 time knock off.

set details
it's all fine here :)

usage tips
mention that surskit is basically a suicide lead which gets up webs, maybe burns something or theifs something and then dies. however, mention that it's also nice to save if the opponent has a spinner or a defogger
"If your opponent has a Pawniard, do not set up Sticky Web until it gets knocked out since Pawniard can take advantage of the Speed drop via Defiant" - remove this. you can still set up webs with pawn on the field.
maybe mention how depending on the team it is sometimes unadvisable to set up webs. for example if they have both pawniard and snivy alongside a flying type, then there's not much point. but if they have just 1 of them then it comes down to judgement. you kind of touched upon this but i feel like pawniard and snivy should be mentioned.

team options
some good web mons include mudbray, skrelp. remove croagunk from that list, but move it to the fighting type section.
remove diglett and gothita imo. yeah they're okay teammates but don't synergise better with surskit than anything else, and don't benefit from webs that much. you don't exactly need mareanie gone for surskit to function since 9/10 it's a suicide lead.
stress that a fighting type is necessary to deal with pawniard.
add stuff that can deal with snivy, for example, vullaby, ponyta, pawniard since snivy is a major threat to webs taems

other options
add protect here but mention it's basiaclly for meowth

checks and counters
just mention under bulky mons that surskit is weak which is why they can switch in.

mention mienfoo under taunt users, but mention that both mienfoo and onix have to rely on a speed tie.

add snivy to checks and counters - although it can't switch into ice beam surskit well, it benefits from sticky web.

remove croagunk. I get why you added it because it technically walls surskit but it doesn't really stop it from functioning and most croagunk aren't set up mons.

remove dwebble... it is slower than surskit so therefore surskit will always be able to get up webs. since that's basically surskits only purpose dwebble isn't really a counter. change the bullet point to multi-hit users and mention aipom, onix (though it speed ties), pikipek (again a speed tie, unless scarf), scarf shellder (though it is rare).

add meowth. since it outspeeds and can fake out then KO

[OVERVIEW]
  • Reaches a high Speed tier of 17. Tied with non-Scarf Mienfoo, Drillburr, Pikipek and Vulpix. Naturally outspeeds threats such as Vullaby, Chinchou and Fletchling.
not sure how much this is worth mentioned, i would probably just mention it's the fastest webber and able to generally avoid being taunted unlike its slower friends.
  • Sticky Web isn't as useful compared to other hazards since top-tier threats such as Munchlax, Gastly and Pawniard are either slow to begin with, immune to Sticky Web or can take advantage of the Speed drop.
not really true, since S web is super useful. I thin the point you want to make with this is dedicated teams are the only ones that really benefit?

  • Surskit is almost always going to be a suicide lead where it sets up Sticky Web, burns something with Scald or chip them with Giga Drain or Ice Beam and then faints.
i wouldn't call it a suicide lead then say:
  • However, try to conserve Surskit if the opposing team has hazard removers such as Staryu, Archen and Vullaby that can easily remove Sticky Web.
in write up emphasise the importance of setting up webs, then note that sometimes it is not the best choice and that surskit should not lead in that scenario.

you're missing stuff like LO Gastly, any abra, Snivy, cranidos, etc which are all great wallbreakers and are so much harder to handle with sticky web support.

ok hopefully i implemented everything .o.

Moves: Hydro Pump before scald. On Sticky web teams, more power is typically better than reliability.

Set details: Surskit is a suicide lead, not a revenge killer. Mention that maximized offensive stats are designed to get Sticky Web up first and deal as much damage as possible before dying.

Usage tips: Scarf Mudbray isn't that common; change this to a more common scarfer such as Magnemite.

OO: Mention Psybeam and HP Fire to hit Croagunk and Ferroseed, respectively; note that they're super situational and should only be used on teams that absolutely need those Pokemon removed.

Checks/Counters: Remove Meowth entirely. It's not relevant enough at high-level play to warrant a mention on its own. If you want to include a section on Fake out users that's fine.

Not sure if I'm allowed to be commenting up in here, but, uh...

"Surskit also loses to many common entry hazard setters and removers such as Vullaby, Archen, and Onix, making it harder for it to set up Sticky Web while also forcing the player to use Surskit conservatively until all entry hazard removers are eliminated."

What? The only one of those Surskit looses to on the frequent is Vullaby. Run a Sticky Web / Scald / Giga Drain / Ice Beam set, and you're able to beat 90% of the opposing leads. From what I've seen, Haze / Thief support is unnecessary in this lead meta. You'll get so much more out of Sursk if you play it as an anti-lead webber. With the full offense set, you'll occasionally be able to bring Sursk back in and use him later on and get a hit or two back in (s/o to giga drain). I don't see any reason to use Haze or Thief over a HO set for a Pokemon that is specifically a lead. I've had way more luck with this than the set you've provided.

Onix has Sturdy so Surskit has to either choose between using Scald and hope for a burn (if it has Scald) or set up Sticky Web and fall from a Rock Blast, Onix also speed ties with Surskit so it can potentially knock it out or Taunt it to prevent Webs and has Berry Juice as backup. The Archen bit I will change since Surskit's sash must be broken prior for Archen to take it out. There are also a lot of "anti leads" such as Mienfoo, Dwebble and Aipom that can take Surskit out regardless.
Anyways, Surskit only has 14 Special Attack (with Timid and max SpA investment) so it isn't going to be hitting very hard so I would rather use Thief so I can steal away an Eviolite or Berry Juice before Surskit falls since it'll almost always consume its Sash. Either way you can use whatever set you want lol, this guide isn't set in stone for what you can or cannot use.

Ack, sorry this too so long :(

A few repeated issues I noticed:
  • We use the word "foe" to refer to "opposing Pokemon" while "opponent" refers to the opposing player
  • A lot of your semicolon usage was incorrect. It's meant to be used for linking two independent clauses together that are especially related to each other. Basically, it's like a replacement for a period except instead of having two sentences you have one sentence. One of the semicolons you used was correct, though.
  • Don't forget to use serial commas!
Nicely done otherwise though !_!

Additions, (AC) = add comma
Removals, (RC) = remove comma

Surskit's main role in Little Cup is as a Sticky Web setter, thus Sticky Web is crucial for this set. Hydro Pump is a strong Water-type STAB move that Surskit can utilize. It also has a chance to knock Drilburr out (I haven't done the calc but I assume it's an OHKO? Imo, in this context, it makes a lot more sense to specify how easily Drilburr (i.e. "chance to OHKO Drilburr"), but I deemed it a bit too subjective to write in the change myself so I'll let you decide instead...) but, , (AC) but its 80% accuracy makes the move somewhat unreliable. Scald is an alternative to Hydro Pump for a Water-type STAB move that also has a 30% chance to burn at the expense of less power. Giga Drain provides Surskit a way to deal with Water-types such as Omanyte, Staryu, (AC) and Shellder while also doubling as a form of recovery. Ice Beam is a coverage option over Giga Drain that enables Surskit to deal with Water-types Grass-types such as Cottonee, Snivy, (AC) and Foongus as well as Defog users such as Vullaby. Lastly, Haze allows Surskit to prevent set up users (a Pokemon using another as setup fodder is enough to imply it's a setup move user imo, so I removed for repetition) Pokemon such as Spritzee and Pawniard from using it as set up setup fodder. Since Surskit is almost always going to consume its Focus Sash, Thief can be used to steal away the opponent's foe's item before fainting; (remove semicolon) , (AC) which ultimately cripples the opponent it. Protect also can be utilized since it protects Surskit from Fake Out users such as Meowth, Mienfoo, (AC) and Aipom, (AC) which allows Surskit's Focus Sash to stay intact.

The remainder of the EVs are thrown into HP, Defense, (AC) and Special Defense for a bit more added bulk. Lastly, Focus Sash is the item of choice since it guarantees that Sticky Web will be set (Or something similar. Made the change for clarity / formality) in most scenarios.

Usage Tips

Surskit is almost always going to function as a suicide lead where it sets up Sticky Web, damages the opponent foe with Scald, Giga Drain, or Ice Beam, (RC) or steal steals away the opponent's foe's item with Thief, and then faint faints. Sticky Web is important to have on the field if the opponent has popular Choice Scarf users such as Drilburr and Magnemite or fast revenge killers such as Abra; (remove semicolon) , (AC) which as it can give your team more breathing room. If you do end up conserving Surskit, it can function as a decent revenge killer due to its high Speed stat.

Ghost-types such as Pumpkaboo-S and Gastly are fantastic complimentary (redundant, being a fantastic partner already implies that it complements well) partners with for Surskit due to their ability to block Rapid Spin, which ultimately keeps Sticky Web on the field. Abra also appreciates Sticky Web because it has the capability to outspeed makes it capable of outspeeding (tried to make this more clear while keeping the same wording, though something could work too) many popular Choice Scarf users such as Magnemite and Drilburr; (remove semicolon) , (AC) which prevents them from revenge killing Abra Abra from being revenge killed by them (passive voice) after its Focus Sash breaks. Abra also has the capability to revenge kill Snivy as well. Pawniard appreciates the Speed drop on faster threats to than it such as Ponyta and Diglett while also being able to deal with Defog users such as Vullaby that may attempt to remove Sticky Web from the field. Fighting-types such as Timburr, Mienfoo, (AC) and Scraggy can knock out or threaten Pawniard with Fighting-type STAB moves, (AC) which allows Surskit to set up Sticky Web once it gets knocked out. Cottonee can also cripple set up setup move users such as Munchlax and Spritzee with Encore that can take advantage of Surskit, which also provides more opportunities to set up Sticky Web.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

Signal Beam is a Bug-type STAB move that is a decent Bug-type STAB option over Ice Beam that also deals with Grass-types. While Ice Beam does not receive the STAB boost, it hits a wider range threats for super-effective super effective damage such as Foongus and Vullaby. Psybeam and Hidden Power Fire are other coverage options that help remedy Surskit's weakness to Croagunk and Ferroseed specifically. These two options are very situational because they only hit those two Pokemon specifically, so only use them if your team lacks a check to these Pokemon. Surskit can afford to run a Swift Swim set since it can set up Rain Dance easily due to its high Speed. Icy Wind is an option that can be used over Ice Beam for the added utility of slowing down airborne targets. The power loss is very significant and Sticky Web also performs a similar function but, (RC) to a lesser audience. Aqua Jet can be utilized since it allows Surskit to damage faster Pokemon such as Ponyta and Choice Scarf Mudbray before falling. It also can be used to help break beat Sturdy or Focus Sash on Pokemon such as Abra and Tirtouga. (How would Aqua Jet actually help in breaking the Sturdy / Sash, given that it's probably going to be used to pick off the Pokemon once it's at 1 HP. I think it makes more sense to specify that Aqua Jet helps in beating them instead...)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Hazard Removers**: Defog users such as Vullaby and Archen can remove Sticky Web while being able to ignore the Speed drop. Archen and Vullaby have the potential to knock out Surskit if its Focus Sash was broken prior. **Multi-Hit Move Users**: Pikipek, Shellder, Onix, (AC) and Aipom all function as fantastic anti-leads to Surskit due to their access to multi-attacking multi-hit moves through in Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, (AC) and Fury Swipes that break Surskit's Focus Sash. Aipom outspeeds Surskit and is able to knock Surskit out with Fury Swipes. Surskit Speed ties with Onix and non-Scarf non-Choice Scarf Pikipek while , (AC) and Life Orb Pikipek variants are able to knock Surskit out with Bullet Seed. (This correction is done under the assumption that Speed tying is bad for Surskit. Otherwise, I'd use "but") Meanwhile, Onix and Shellder must land at least 3 three Rock Blast hits to guarantee a knock out on Surskit. However Onix, Shellder, (AC) and Pikipek must be wary of a Scald burn or Giga Drain if Surskit does survive.

**Taunt**: Taunt users such as Cottonee, Mienfoo, Aipom, (AC) and Onix can prevent Surskit from setting up Sticky Web from the beginning. However, (AC) Cottonee must be wary of Ice Beam while Onix and Mienfoo must be wary of Scald or and Hydro Pump.

GP 2/2

However, Surskit is quite weak due to its low base stats bar its Speed, (comma) Surskit has with a lackluster Special Attack stat that only reaches the 14 benchmark while also having and poor natural bulk. Bug / Water is also a relatively weak defensive typing, making Surskit vulnerable to the tier's multitude of Electric- and Flying-types. Surskit also loses to many common entry hazard setters and removers such as Vullaby and Onix, making it harder for it to set up Sticky Web while also forcing the player to use Surskit conservatively until all entry hazard removers are eliminated. While Sticky Web is an invaluable asset for teams dedicated to using it to its full potential, it can be difficult to utilize if the opposing team has naturally slow Pokemon such as Munchlax, airborne Pokemon that are immune to Sticky Web such as Gastly and Vullaby, or Pokemon that can take advantage of the Speed drop such as Snivy and Pawniard.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Protect also can be utilized, (AC) since it protects Surskit from Fake Out users such as Meowth, Mienfoo, and Aipom, which allows Surskit's Focus Sash to stay intact.

Set Details
========

Lastly, Focus Sash is the item of choice, (AC) since it guarantees that Sticky Web will be on the field in most scenarios.

Usage Tips
========

Surskit is almost always going to function as a suicide lead where it sets up Sticky Web, damages the foe with Scald, Giga Drain, or Ice Beam, (AC) or steals away the foe's item with Thief (RC) and then faints. Sticky Web is important to have on the field if the opponent has popular Choice Scarf users such as Drilbur and Magnemite or fast revenge killers such as Abra, as it can give your team more breathing room. However, do note that Surskit may not be worth leading with if the opposing team has entry hazard removers such as Staryu, Archen, and Vullaby, (AC) since they can easily remove Sticky Web once Surskit faints.

========

Ghost-types such as Pumpkaboo-S and Gastly are fantastic partners for Surskit due to their ability to block Rapid Spin, which ultimately keeps Sticky Web on the field. Slower attackers such as Corphish, Craindos Cranidos, Life Orb Bunnelby, and Croagunk all appreciate being able to outspeed faster threats such as Diglett, Carvanha, and Aipom by virtue of Sticky Web. Gastly and Snivy also appreciate Sticky Web, (AC) since they do not have to worry about being revenge killed by Choice Scarf Mienfoo or Abra. Abra also appreciates Sticky Web because makes it capable of outspeeding many popular Choice Scarf users such as Magnemite and Drilburr, which prevents them from revenge killing Abra after its Focus Sash breaks. Abra also has the capability to revenge kill Snivy. Pawniard appreciates the Speed drop on faster threats than it such as Ponyta and Diglett while also being able to deal with Defog users such as Vullaby that may attempt to remove Sticky Web from the field. Fighting-types such as Timburr, Mienfoo, and Scraggy can knock out or threaten Pawniard with Fighting-type STAB moves, which allows Surskit to set up Sticky Web once it gets knocked out without having to be afraid of giving it an Attack boost. Cottonee can also cripple setup move users such as Munchlax and Calm Mind Spritzee with Encore that can take advantage of Surskit, which also provides more opportunities to set up Sticky Web.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Signal Beam is a Bug-type STAB move that is a decent option over Ice Beam that and also deals with Grass-types. While Ice Beam does not receive STAB, it hits a wider range threats for super effective damage such as Foongus and Vullaby. Psybeam and Hidden Power Fire are other coverage options that help remedy Surskit's weakness to Croagunk and Ferroseed specifically. These two options are very situational because they only hit those two Pokemon specifically, so only use them if your team lacks a check to these Pokemon. Surskit can afford to run a Swift Swim set, (AC) since it can set up Rain Dance easily due to its high Speed. The power loss is very significant, (AC) though, (AC) and Sticky Web also performs a similar function but to a lesser audience.

===================

**Bulky Pokemon**: Maerenie, Mareanie, Munchlax, and Ferroseed can easily switch in on Surskit due to its naturally weak low offensive stats, which allows them to take multiple hits from Surskit it. Munchlax can also take advantage of Surskit by using it as setup fodder.

**Multi-hit Move Users**: Pikipek, Shellder, Onix, and Aipom all function as fantastic anti-leads to Surskit due to their access to multi-hit moves in Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, (AC) and Fury Swipes that do not mind bypass Surskit's Focus Sash. Aipom outspeeds Surskit and is able to knock Surskit it out with Fury Swipes.

However, Cottonee must be wary of Ice Beam, (AC) while Onix and Mienfoo must be wary of Scald and Hydro Pump.
