[OVERVIEW]
Sylveon is one of the Fairies that do a really good job in the OU metagame, as it has great Special Attack along with access to Pixilate-boosted STAB Hyper Voice, which plows through anything that doesn't resist it, and many coverage options that allow it to threaten most of the metagame. Its access to Baton Pass means it can gain momentum for teammates or pass boosts from moves such as Calm Mind. Sylveon also possesses an excellent support movepool and great special bulk, though its physical frailty limits its tanking ability. Its low base Speed for an offensive Pokemon also leaves it vulnerable to revenge killers. Sylveon faces competition as offensive Fairy-type from Clefable and Mega Gardevoir. Both Fairies have a better movepool, and Mega Gardevoir also has massive Special Attack and Special Defense.

[SET]
name: Choice Specs
move 1: Hyper Voice
move 2: Psyshock
move 3: Hidden Power Fire / Hidden Power Ground
move 4: Baton Pass
item: Choice Specs
ability: Pixilate
nature: Modest
evs: 240 HP / 252 SpA / 16 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice is Sylveon's most powerful attack, even heavily damaging Pokemon that resist it, and allows it to hit Pokemon behind Substitutes. Psyshock allows Sylveon to hit Poison-types that can take two Hyper Voices comfortably such as Amoonguss and Mega Venusaur. For coverage, you can run Hidden Power Fire to eliminate or heavily damage Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, specially defensive Skarmory, Metagross, Jirachi, and both non-Mega and Mega Scizor; Hidden Power Ground can be used instead to remove Heatran. Baton Pass helps Sylveon pivot around and gain momentum for the team, which is useful because Sylveon baits in various Poison- and Steel-types that its teammates can more effectively handle.

Set Details
========
Full investment in HP and Special Attack maximizes Sylveon's bulk and power. The 16 Speed EVs are necessary to outspeed uninvested base 60 Speed Pokemon such as Clefable, opposing Sylveon, and Tyranitar. This set can also use a spread of 168 HP / 252 SpA / 88 Spe, which gives it enough Speed to outspeed and 2HKO Skarmory. If you want Sylveon to be faster than most of the common walls, such as specially defensive Heatran and most variants of Mega Venusaur, an EV spread of 68 HP / 252 SpA / 188 Spe will suffice. Choice Specs maximizes Sylveon's offensive capabilities, while Pixilate changes Normal-type moves to Fairy-type and boosts their power.

Usage Tips
========
Sylveon's poor Speed rectricts its offensive capabilities, so don't leave it in on faster and stronger threats unless it is close to full health. Thanks to its overall bulk, it can take hits from Mega Medicham or Mega Lopunny and retaliate back with Hyper Voice. This set makes Sylveon a reliable wallbreaker. As it is a Choice set, though, the opponent can easily take advantage of Sylveon being locked into one move. You should use this set based on predicted switches, either to gain momentum with Baton Pass or to cause major damage with its coverage moves. Hyper Voice being the strongest attack Sylveon possesses means it is easily the best option to click against a switch-in; even if it is resisted, it will do massive damage, so you barely have to make a prediction in this situation.

Team Options
========
Fire-type Pokemon such as Mega Charizard X and Y, Heatran, and Talonflame can deal with the Steel-types that threaten Sylveon such as Scizor, Bisharp, Skarmory, and Ferrothorn; they also benefit from Sylveon's Hidden Power Ground to get rid of opposing Heatran. Another great team option is a Ground-type such as Hippowdon or Tank Garchomp, which can use Earthquake to beat the Fire-types that resist Hyper Voice, most notably Heatran if Sylveon lacks Hidden Power Ground, and can also sponge hits from stronger physical attackers such as Mega Metagross and Bisharp, which Sylveon cannot survive with its average Defense. Landorus-T is a special case because it can deal with stronger physical attackers, but it should be careful of opposing Bisharp, which is the main revenge killer for Sylveon, due to Defiant. Fighting-types are great options; for example, Keldeo and Mega Lopunny can deal with Bisharp, Mega Sableye, and other Steel-types that switch into Sylveon, and Sylveon can deal with walls that stop them such as Slowbro. Sylveon benefits from a Psychic-type or Flying-type teammate, such as Latios, Talonflame, or Tornadus-T, that can threaten Poison-types such as Mega Venusaur and Amoonguss as well as Steel-types if they carry a Fire-type move. Partners with access to Volt Switch or U-turn such as Raikou, Mega Manectric, Tornadus-T, and Landorus-T help get Sylveon into battle for free, which is necessary for an offensive Pokemon with low Speed; it also forms a good combination with Baton Pass to break one another's checks. Baton Pass also can be used as pivoting move to trap some common switch-ins to Sylveon, such as bringing in Bisharp on a predicted Jirachi switch-in. Sylveon on its own is great lure for partners that terrorize opposing offense such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Alakazam; for example, it can lure in Mega Scizor and surprise it with Hidden Power Fire, while Mega Lopunny take care of specially defensive Pokemon for Sylveon. Pokemon with trapping abilities such as Magnezone and Dugtrio are great partners for Sylveon because it can only hit one of its common switch-ins with the Hidden Power of choice. Another great form of support is Thunder Wave, which helps patch up Sylveon's poor Speed to be the fastest Pokemon in the field. Hazard support ensures some OHKOs if you predict correctly. Like all Pokemon, Sylveon loves entry hazard removal to help with longevity, as it will be switching out often due to being Choice locked.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============
A Calm Mind + 3 attacks set allows Sylveon to increase its damage output and can bait and KO threats such as Mega Scizor and Heatran depending on which Hidden Power type it's running. However, this set isn't viable due to its poor physical bulk and low Speed; Sylveon should be the one giving support as opposed to receiving it. Accordingly, a Baton Pass set with Calm Mind is generally superior because it can provide support to another teammate that has a better chance to sweep. Another set Sylveon can run is a cleric set with Wish, Protect, Hyper Voice, and Heal Bell, though Magic Coat should be considered as an option that allows Sylveon to reflect Taunt, status, or phazing moves while it tries to use Wish; it also can be used to reflect entry hazards from certain Pokemon such as Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Landorus-T. Sylveon's special bulk gives it a niche over its competition Clefable for a cleric, although Unaware is an unmatched ability and one of the best for a cleric Pokemon because it lets it deal with setup Pokemon as well.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Poison-types**: Poison-types such as Mega Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Gengar can switch into a Hyper Voice and threaten Sylveon back with a STAB attack. However, all Poison-types must be careful of Psyshock.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Scizor, Excadrill, Ferrothorn, Heatran, Mega Metagross, and Jirachi can tank Sylveon's Hyper Voice and hit it back with a physical Steel-type move. Heatran is a special case because it 4x resists to Hyper Voice but is 4x weak to Hidden Power Ground. The rest of the Pokemon mentioned above must watch out for Hidden Power Fire.

**Physical Attackers**: Very strong physical attackers such as Mega Charizard X, Azumarill, Mega Medicham, Hoopa-U, Diggersby, and Mega Pinsir can severely damage Sylveon. Hoopa-U can even OHKO Sylveon with Gunk Shot.

ok, before I check this, Dennis keep in mind that you can't copy the same analysis as before because whats the point of a revamp. You can also get infracted for plagiarism, so when it comes to writing it up, try not to copy the old analysis.

With that said

Overview
Remove the parts about Calm Mind and Curse
Remove BST mentions, when the analysis is onsite the stats are right above the mons, so keep that in mind for later too
Mention that it has higher special bulk than Clefable and that it faces very strong competition from Mega Gardevoir as an offensive Fairy type

Choice Specs

Usage Tips
Trapping part should be in Team Options along with Twave and Spikes
Id mention something along the lines of Hyper Voice being your go-to move most of the time and to predict resisted switch ins

Team Options
Mention Torn-T in Flying types as it creates a pseudo TurnPass core
Mention Volt Switchers as they create momentum cores with Sylveon and they appreciate Sylveon breaking the Ground types that can wall them
Give a general mention to u-turners too because Sylveon likes getting in for free because its Specs set is pretty frail

Cleric

Moves
I dont like Toxic here at all, remove it

Set Details
"mixed bulk" change to special bulk as Clef has the better Physical bulk

Usage Tips
Remove Toxic mention
Mention something about using protect to scout out choice items or lure moves

Team Options
Remove setup sweepers from here, especially offensive ones. Change them to more defensively inclined ones you'd want to have a cleric for ie (Mega) Slowbro, Mega Latias, bulky Mega Scizor. Heal Bell is also useful for mons that will commonly pivot into Scald or status like Mega Venu, AV Torn-T, Latias, Mega Altaria lacking HB.
again, mention Torn-T in flying types

Other Options
remove Curse + Baton Pass and Dual Screens

Thanks for the advice, and all changes are made good sir !

You might also want to mention that Fire-types like Zard X/Y and Talonflame appreciate Heatran being weakened if Sylveon runs Hidden Power Ground. Also mention Mega Lopunny as a teammate, since Sylveon + Mega Lopunny possess sufficient offensive synergy and wear down each other's checks.

Choice Specs

Usage Tips
- Emphasize that Sylveon can take almost any neutral attack from full HP and retaliate, making it a solid check to powerful attackers like Mega Medicham if it is already in.

Team Options
- Under fighting types, mention Keldeo as a partner as it beats Bisharp and checks a majority of the steel types that switch into Sylveon
- Great with pokemon that terrorize opposing offense such as Lopunny or Mega Alakazam (particularly luring checks to this i.e. MZor with HP Fire) as it breaks down walls for them to clean up

Cleric

Moves
- Change "massive HP stat" to "solid HP stat" when referencing Wish
- Mention that Hyper Voice goes through Subs making it a nice check to things like Sub Mega Gyarados

Team Options
- Will-O-Wisp Zard X as a partner for checking steel types while Sylv can switch into most other fairies and defensive grounds like Lando-T. Basically similar synergy to Zard + Clefable

all changes are made, thank you good sir !

For the Choice Specs set, take out the mention of Shadow Ball and mention it in OO instead, because all it does is really hit Mega Metagross and Jirachi and I suppose has blanket coverage on Gengar and Slowbro, but outside of that it's a lesser coverage move. When you mention trappers in team options make sure to note that Sylveon can also bring them in safely with Baton Pass. Also remove the Gothitelle mention in that sentence.

In regards to the cleric set, QC agreed that it has no niche when compared to support variants of Clefable, which can either use Magic Guard or Unaware, giving it far more useful utility when compared to Sylveons small benefits (high special bulk and a stronger STAB), so remove it and just make a mention of it in other options. Be sure to also remove any references made to the set in the overview.

In other options, nothing much to say here other then make a small mention of Magic Coat on defensive sets to reflect Taunt or phazing while it tries to use Wish, as well as reflect hazards from certain mons such as TankChomp or defensive Landorus-T.

For checks and counters, remove the Taunt and Phazing sections because those two only apply for the cleric set, which isn't a main option anymore. Also remove the mention of defensive set in the Physical Attackers section.

3/3 sorry for the long wait

Moves
========
Pixilate-boosted
Hyper Voice is Sylveon's most powerful attack, even heavily damaging Pokemon that resist it, boosted by Pixilate and allows it Sylveon to hit Pokemon behind Substitutes due to it's a sound move, even pokemon that resist this move takes so much damage. Psyshock allows Sylveon to hit Poison-types that can take two Hyper Voices resist 2 Hyper voice comfortably such as Amoonguss and Mega Venusaur. For As coverage move, (AC) you can run Hidden Power Fire to eliminate or heavily for eliminating or hitting for a lot of damage Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, specially defensive Skarmory, Metagross, Jirachi, (AC) and both non-Mega and Mega Scizor both forms;or; (ASC) Hidden Power Ground can be used instead to remove is for removing Heatran. Baton Pass as last slot is used to helps Sylveon pivot around and gaining momentum for the team, which is useful because Sylveon as it baits in various Poison- and Steel-types pokemon that its teammates can more effectively handle beat them in a better way.

Set Details
========
Full investment in HP and Special Attack maximizes Sylveon's bulk and power, t. The 16 Speed EVs are necessary to outspeed uninvested base 60 Speed Pokemon such as Clefable, opposing Sylveon, (AC) and Tyranitar. This set can also use a spread of 168 HP / 252 SpA / 88 Spe, which gives it enough Speed to outspeed and 2HKO Skarmory and 2HKOed, i. (AP) If you want Sylveon to be faster than most of the common walls, (AC) such as SpD specially defensive Heatran and most variants of Mega Venusaur, an EV spread of 68 HP / 252 SpA / 188 Spe will suffice let you outspeed them. Choice Specs as item maximizes Sylveon's offensive capabilities, while Pixilate ability changes Normal-type moves to Fairy-type and boost their its power.

Usage Tips
========
Sylveon's poor Speed rectricts its offensive capabilities, so don't leave it stay in on faster and stronger threats unless it is close to full health. (AP) Thanks to its overall bulk, it can take hits from Mega Medicham or Mega Lopunny and retaliate back with Hyper Voice. This set makes Sylveon a reliable wallbreaker. As it is a Choice set, (AC) the opponent can easily take advantage of Sylveon being locked into one move. You should use this set based on predicted switches ins, either to gain momentum with Baton Pass or to cause causing major damage with its coverage moves. Hyper Voice being the strongest attack Sylveon possesses means it is easily the best option to click against in a free switch-in; due to even if it is resisted, it will do cause massive damage, so you barely have to make a prediction in this situation.

Team Options
========
Fire-type Pokemon such as Mega Charizard X and Y, Heatran, (AC) and Talonflame can deal with the Steel-types that threaten Sylveon such as Scizor, Bisharp, Skarmory, (AC) and Ferrothorn; they also they benefit from of Sylveon's Hidden Power Ground to that get rid off opposing Heatran. Another great team option is a are Ground-types such as Hippowdon and or Tank Garchomp, which can use Earthquake to beat the Fire-types that resist Hyper Voice, most notably Heatran if Sylveon lacks you lack of Hidden Power Ground as coverage move, and they can also at the same time can sponge hits from for stronger physical attackers such as Mega Metagross and Bisharp, (AC) which Sylveon cannot survive with its average Defense. Landorus-Therian is a special case because it can deal with stronger physical attackers but you should be careful of opposing Bisharp—due to Defiant which is the main revenge killer for Sylveon—due to Defiant. Fighting-types are great options; for example, such as Keldeo and Mega Lopunny that can deal with Bisharp, Mega Sableye, (AC) and another Steel-types that switch into Sylveon, and Sylveon can deal with walls that stop them such as Slowbro. Sylveon benefits from a Psychic-type or Flying-type teammate, such as Latios, Talonflame, (AC) or Tornadus-Therian, that can threaten Poison-types such as Mega Venusaur and Amoonguss as well as also can threaten Steel-types if they carry a Fire-type move. Partners with access to Volt Switch or U-turn such as Raikou, Mega Manectric, Tornadus-Therian, (AC) and Landorus-Therian help get Sylveon into battle get it for free, (AC) which is necessary for when your an offensive Pokemon with low Speed; also it also forms combined a good combination with Baton Pass a combo to break one another's each other checks. Baton Pass it also can be used as pivoting move to trap some common switch-ins to Sylveon, (AC) had such as Baton Pass on a predicted Jirachi into Bisharp. Sylveon on by its own is great lure for partners that terrorize opposing offense such as Lopunny and or Mega Alakazam; (ASC) for example, it can lure in Mega Scizor and surprise it with Hidden Power Fire, as those breaks down walls for Sylveon clean up (i'm sorry i have no idea what this means...). Pokemon with trapping abilities such as Magnezone, Gothitelle, (AC) and Dugtrio are great partners for Sylveon because it can only hit one of its the common switch-ins with the Hidden Power of choice. Another great form of support is Thunder Wave, which helps patch up Sylveon's poor Speed to be the fastest Pokemon in the field. Hazards support ensures some OHKOs, if you predict correctly. Like all And as everysingle Pokemon, Sylveon loves entry hazard removal to that help with longevity, as it will be switching out often due to being Choice-locked.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============
A Calm Mind + with 3 attacks set, (RC) allows Sylveon to increase its damage output and can bait and KO threats to lure them such as Mega Scizor or and Heatran depending on which depends of what Hidden Power type it's running. However, this set isn't than viable due to its poor physical bulk and lower Speed; Sylveon should be the one giving support as opposed to receiving it, so. A Baton Pass set combined with Calm Mind is generally superior because it can provide support to another teammate that has a had better chance to sweep. Another set Sylveon can run is a cleric set with Wish, Protect, Hyper Voice, and last slot could be Heal Bell to cure any status problem itself and teammates, in the other hand, though Magic Coat should be considered as an option that allows which allow Sylveon to reflect Taunt, status, or phazing moves while it tries to use Wish; it also can be used to reflect, as well as reflect hazards from certain Pokemon such as Garchomp, Hippowdon, and or Landorus-Therian. The Special Bulk Sylveon's special bulk makes posses make it a better option than its competition Clefable for a cleric support, although Unaware is an incomparable ability (it is unclear whether you're saying Unaware is way better or way worse. be more explicit).

Checks and Counters
===================

**Poison-types**: Poison-types such as Mega Venusaur, Amoonguss, (AC) and Gengar can switch into a Hyper Voice and threaten Sylveon back with a STAB attack. However, all Poison-types must be careful of Psyshock.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Scizor, Excadrill, Ferrothorn, Heatran, Mega Metagross, (AC) and Jirachi can tank Sylveon's Hyper Voice and hit it back with a physical Steel-type move. Heatran is a special case because it is 4x resistant to Hyper Voice, (RC) but 4x weak to Hidden Power Ground x4, while t. The rest of the Pokemon mentioned above must watch out for Hidden Power Fire.

**Physical Attackers**: Very strong physical attackers such as Mega Charizard X, Azumarill, Mega Medicham, Hoopa-Unbound, Diggersby, (AC) and Mega Pinsir can severely damage Sylveon. Hoopa-Unbound can even OHKOed Sylveon with Gunk Shot.

Baton Pass also can be used as pivoting move to trap some common switch-ins to Sylveon, such as on a predicted Jirachi into Bisharp. Sylveon on its own is great lure for partners that terrorize opposing offense such as Mega Lopunny and Mega Alakazam; for example, it can lure in Mega Scizor and surprise it with Hidden Power Fire; while Mega Lopunny take care of specially defensive Pokemon for Sylveon. Pokemon with trapping abilities such as Magnezone, and Dugtrio are great partners for Sylveon because it can only hit one of its common switch-ins with the Hidden Power of choice. Another great form of support is Thunder Wave, which helps patch up Sylveon's poor Speed to be the fastest Pokemon in the field. Hazard support ensures some OHKOs, if you predict correctly. Like all Pokemon, Sylveon loves entry hazard removal to help with longevity, as it will be switching out often due to being Choice-locked.

A Baton Pass set with Calm Mind is generally superior because it can provide support to another teammate that has a better chance to sweep. Another set Sylveon can run is a cleric set with Wish, Protect, Hyper Voice, and Heal Bell, though Magic Coat should be considered as an option that allows Sylveon to reflect Taunt, status, or phazing moves while it tries to use Wish; it also can be used to reflect hazards from certain Pokemon such as Garchomp, Hippowdon, and Landorus-T. Sylveon's special bulk makes it a better option than its competition Clefable for a cleric, although Unaware is an unmatched ability and one of the best for a cleric Pokemon because can deal with set up Pokemon as well.

Checks and Counters
===================

Heatran is a special case because it is 4x resistant to Hyper Voice but 4x weak to Hidden Power Ground.

Done and thanks, appreciated !! :toast:

[OVERVIEW]
Sylveon is one of the Fairies that does do a really good job in the OU metagame, with its as it has (less clunky)great Special Attack along with its access to Pixilate-boosted STAB Hyper Voice, which plows through anything that doesn't resist it, and its many coverage options that allow it to threaten most of the metagame. Its access to Baton Pass means it can gain momentum for teammates or pass boosts from moves such as Calm Mind. Sylveon also possesses an excellent support movepool and great special bulk, though it being frail physically its physical frailty limits its tanking ability.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Set Details
========

Usage Tips
========
As it is a Choice set, (AC) though, (AC) the opponent can easily take advantage of Sylveon being locked into one move.

========
Another great team option is a Ground-type such as Hippowdon or Tank Garchomp, which can use Earthquake to beat the Fire-types that resist Hyper Voice, most notably Heatran if Sylveon lacks Hidden Power Ground, and they can also sponge hits from stronger physical attackers such as Mega Metagross and Bisharp, which Sylveon cannot survive with its average Defense. Landorus-T is a special case because it can deal with stronger physical attackers, but it should be careful of opposing Bisharp, (comma) which is the main revenge killer for Sylveon, (comma) due to Defiant. Fighting-types are great options; for example, Keldeo and Mega Lopunny can deal with Bisharp, Mega Sableye, and other Steel-types that switch into Sylveon, and Sylveon can deal with walls that stop them such as Slowbro.
