Shelgon - Happy (M)
372.png

What is there to say about Happy, besides his namesake? When Natsu found the egg, he's very excited to have a younger brother who'd also be a Dragon. And so he went to great pains to help it hatch - asking Elfman to warm it up, sleeping with it every night, hugging it as everybody travel. It took a week for Natsu's wishes to come true, and Happy has been sticking around Natsu ever since. Even though Happy have no wishes to evolve, he would still stand up for Natsu (who's much stronger than him), simply because they're great partners. Happy is also the only one whom Natsu wouldn't pick a brawl with - which says a lot about their camaraderie.

Nature: Mild (+1 Spa, -1 Def)

Type:
Dragon Type: Dragon STAB; -1 BAP on incoming neutral attacks Dragon itself would resist (e.g. -1 BAP on Aqua Jet against Garchomp.) Unable to have Thrash or Outrage disrupted by oncoming damage.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Rock Head
Type: Passive
Happy's cheer and surprisingly tough constitution prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.

Ability 2: Overcoat (Unlocked)
Type: Passive
Happy jolly exterior that rebuffs the elements, becoming immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. as well as "Powder" moves. "My name is Happ- hey why are you taking away my fish?"
Happy (Shelgon w/ Amulet Coin): Double-Edge > Rock Tomb > Double-Edge
IF Flare-Charmeleon would use Counter, THEN replace that action with Dragon Pulse instead.
IF Happy-Shelgon is Burned, THEN replace the first instance with Focus Energy instead.

... These calcs have many mistakes.

First, atk and def ranks aren't just added (or at least not any lower than 7): they are multiplied by 1.5 AND THEN added to the damage calc.
I'm almost sure that double-edges bap rounds up.

2x weakness multiplies damage by 1.5, not 1.75.

Finally, even if your calcs were correct, you made mistakes while substracting.

I urge you to, in these early stages of your ASB carreer, have the player's handbook open while reffing so you can check the damage formula and check for your mistakes.

If this gets fixed, my orders will be
Outrage * 3
- if succesfuly p/e then chill
- If endure then Will-O- Wisp

Shelgon has Rock Head, so no recoil from Double-Edge. Also, Shelgon does not get STAB from Rock Tomb. Assuming those corrections, post-round Charmander should have 37 HP, Shelgon 39 HP. Charmander has equal chances of being confused for 2, 3, or 4 actions, with a self-hit due to confusion decaying that duration by 1 action per self-hit, so take note. Finally, note that Rock Tomb slows Charmander down so it's now slower than Shelgon.

I know you're a new reff, so take your time, fix them up. We can wait :)

I find it odd how you get your UC right while completely forget the normal counters for our Pokemons. Fix please.

fixed that.

(and it's because I used the player's handbook for counter amounts, which for whatever reason doesn't list the EC/AC/2MC for every battle)
