Introduction
Hello one and all, Kyrone here, very long time lurker first time poster in RMT. So there is a story behind this team, back in November I decided to take a break from post university moving into real work blues and went from dreary old England to the states, knowing I would have no way to game I decided I would have to take my 3DS with me and the new X and Y to keep my gamer side sane. So I built myself a team whilst I was away, met a lot of players (surprising how many people play pokemon IRL in the states), battled most of them and developed my team. Whilst I was gone I used any coffee shop to get on WiFi to trade and battle, added many people and developed this here team. Now that I am back home I am looking to move into ranked battles and more competitive WiFi so I am looking to get my reliable guys rated, so far I am 83 wins and only 1 loss from Real life/WiFi battles, but I am looking to have them put under the magnifying glass before ranked so here we go.

Update
The team has now left alpha stage and moved into beta testing. Version 2 will not get the same easy treatment as version 1 and will be very unlikely to have such a high win streak. These guys will not be getting the easy ride that was random wifi battles and passerbys with un-properly built teams of random legendaries or gimmicky sets, these guys are going up against fully thought out and bred teams in ranked.

The Team

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Power Whip
- Protect Leech Seed
- Toxic Gyro Ball

Replacing Gliscor we have Ferrothorn. This guy can act as an amazing lead, he can set up hazards, ward off physical attackers and negate spore use from smeargle.

Ferrothorn will act as the team wall and thus is not just in place as a suicide lead, if I can get those rocks up first, I will switch out if needed and bring this guy back in as it calls for him. So far I am very wary of Talonflame wrecking him but it has been very easy to switch out to Landorus as of version 3.

Originally I began play with a protect/toxic set but I wanted more speed playing and raw power, especially as a lot of rest users were just flat out negating toxic I changed this to Gyro Ball and replaced protect with leech seed to add some survivalto ferrothorn as I wanted to combine iron barbs with rocky helmet instead of using leftovers.

Tyranitar/Godzilla (F) @ Assault Vest
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 hp, 4 sp.atk, 252 Sp.Def
Sassy Nature (+Sp.Def , -Spe)
-Pursuit/Earthquake
-Flamethrower/Icebeam

-Crunch
-Stone Edge

The bringer of the storm, the mighty Tyranitar. The moment I saw Assault Vest in Battle Maison I knew I had a special wall and weather bringing rolled into one. With the combination of sand stream and assault vest this Tyranitar can tank a focus blast even from Mega Gengar and finish him in one with Crunch, I later added Pursuit as more often than not ghost types will just run rather than consider to fight this beast.

As the special wall I will normally switch Tyranitar in whenever I am up against something that is going to hit team members too hard, he teams nicely with Rotom-W being the choice for volt switches as well as pairing with this teams physical wall Gliscor; she also has a special bond with the teams only Gen 6 weapon, Aegislash but more on that later.

Now flamethrower is a bit interesting, my team originally had a huge problem with bulky grass types and steel/bug types. So after changing from an adamant nature to sassy nature I realised I could throw out Earthquake as this is carried by Garchomp in favor of Flamethrower. In the first game play testing this has turned out to be a huge help, already taking down a Shaymin with 2 hits and eating those seed flares for breakfast. Tyranitar also outspeeds most defensive walls which carry that fire weakness and thus stop Tyranitar being slept straight away.

However with the introduction of version 3 I opt for dropping flamethrower for icebeam to deal with Sub Toxic Gliscor, as most these days do not carrey Earthquake and opt for knock-off it seemed to fit nicely. Already I have been predicting the switches, taking a toxic and OHKO that little flying rat everytime, this has really stopped a wall strategy that really halted the team.

The fourth moveslot is where the debate begins. Stone Edge Vs Rockslide/Power Vs Accuracy. Too many a times has stone miss caused me to lose Tyranitar, missing four times in a row in some situations. However I am still not an advocate of that lower power rock slide so I have opted to keep stone miss on my Tyranitar.

Landorus @Choice Scarf
Trait: Intimidate
Adament 4HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
-U-Turn
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge/Hammer Arm
-Knock Off/Hammer Arm

Oh this team just got serious, a final addition for version 3. Replacing Mamoswine who was just not powerful or fast enough we replaced him with someone who does 10x his job and a whole lot more. With the ability come in lower attack and just decimate everything in his path Landorus quickly become a big hitter on this team upping the speed and efficiency exponentially. With this speedsters addition to the team we were able to change Garchomp from sash variant to Focus Band making this team a whole lot faster and far more lethal.

Garchomp/Drake (F) @ Choice Band Focus Sash
Trait: Sand Veil
Jolly Nature (-Sp.Atk, +Spe)
EVs: 4HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
-Fire Fang Iron Head Dual Chop
-Stone Edge Rock Slide
-Outrage
-Earthquake

Now we enter the teams armory and why not start with the big gun, Garchomp the Land Shark. The most important thing with Mega Garchomp is using that stone at the right time due to the speed decrease, I had been experimenting with my lady Garchomp so I tried using Mega Garchomp but I have yet to find a reason as to why I would use Mega over Focus or a choice item. This lovely lady loves best to fight in sandstorm in the normal set up with the evasion boost and when you run the mega variant this really require to reach full potential throwing out huge damage with Steel, Rock and Earth type attacks but with limited weather it is just far too much of a set up required that is easily stalled out, with this in mind I have opted to go for a Focus Sash sword dance set.

The introduction of fairy types has done little to discourage my use of Garchomp, most are so frail this train just runs them down and keeps going. I changed to Rock Slide to deal with the annoyance of Togekiss as I lost Chomp here a few times thanks to stone Miss and throwing in Fire Fang to deal with Scizor, Ferrothorn and Fortress but in the long run even mega form in sand was easily stalled out by Skarmory roosting through Rock Slide. With all this I changed into a sword dance set giving up Fire Fang and Rockslide for Sword dance and Stone Miss..... er Edge, as my new Tyranitar came packing with flamethrower.

A lot of words no longer needed, this time Garchomp is all power in version 3 with no holding back!

Earthquake is the standard brutal stab and has been dealing with those fairies without a problem. I still like Outrage for raw power and if they had no fairies in team preview or they are already down I rarely need to even think before unleashing this beast. whilst playing with the mega variant I changed to Dual Chop from outrage stop her from being locked into outrage and to deal with those pesky substitute users, which is a change that has lasted onto the sword dance set and even onto the newly formed Version 3s choice band set, why? to deal with focus sash leads and to break through subs ruining my day. Stone miss made a return but is rarely used, if you are feeling brave you could even opt for a different nature and use a fireblast option.

Also you may of noticed the use of Sand Veil, well this is because that tiny evasion has saved me from more than one belly drum Arumarill's aqua jet, however if you have a thing for evasion clause (which I play mostly wifi meaning I aint giving it up when there are minimising chanseys and blisseys out there) then change it up for rough skin.

Rotom-Wash/Loki @ Life Orb Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Modest Calm Nature (-Atk, +Sp.Def)
EVs: 232 Hp, 56 Sp.Atk, 220 Spe. 252 Hp, 4 Sp.Atk, 252 Sp.def
-Volt Switch
-Will-o-wisp
-Hydro Pump
-Thunder Pain Split Thunderbolt

Next we have the washing machine, possessed by ghost type Rotom that is. Originally this spot was filled by Mega Gengar but even without visiting the forums I knew just by IRL rage by players I beat on my way that he got banned and eventually I switched him for Rotom-W to stop the constant whining on the road. This guy has worked covering the rain team weakness prior to ferrothorn and being able to easily switch in on a EQ aimed at Tyranitar.

Now I do not like using two choice users on the same team and I wanted to have some support on the team. Which is why I went with Leftovers so I could use Rotom to inflict burn whilst having survivability, as well as to gain Electric and Water Coverage. With Garchomp no longer carreying Choice Band I have elected to try out the standard choice specs set up for good old reliable Rotom-W.

With being able to inflict burn, take a hit, throw out a powerful water move heal up and inflict damage, all whilst being able to switch out with a parting gift it is easy to see why Rotom-W is so hugely popular and he has time and time again secured his place on this team.

gengar_by_shutup0007-d6qngjj.png
Gengar/Schatten(M) Life Orb (or Gengarite for wifi battles)
Trait: Levitate
Timid Nature (-Atk, +Spe)
Evs: 4HP, 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Spe
-Hypnosis/Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave
-Thunderbolt

hide yo kids, hide yo wife, and hide yo husband 'cause Gengar is.... well you know, everyone.

Now it was suggested that I change Aegislash from a physical dance sweeper to the special, wall breaking variant. However I was too lazy to breed one so I thought, why not God-Tier?

Gengar gives version three that Poison coverage, that electricity coverage, ghost coverage and Hypnosis just to anger leads and set-up sweepers. Now if you want you can run focus blast here but seeing as on WiFi I do not care much for breaking the OU tier with Gengarite I like to keep in hypnosis with Shadow Tag because FU fair playing field.

What more do I need to say here? other than prepare yourself he is going in dry.

Former Members
mamoswine-png.3940

Mamoswine/Manny (M) @ Focus Sash Life Orb
Trait: Oblivious Thick Fat
EVs: 4HP, 252 ATK, 252 Spe
Adament Nature (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
-Ice Shard
-Stealth Rock Knock Off
-Icicle Crash/Superpower
-Earthquake

Okay so lets introduce the renowned dragon slayer Mamoswine, my preferred lead. His initial job is to set up Stealth Rock, I have given him Focus sash to make sure he survives the process and he has oblivious over thick fat to make sure he can always get those rocks up.

Occasionally from team preview I may see just cause not to lead with him and to save him for his most known use, dragon hunting. Carreying thick fat as his most viable ability now which halves ice and fire damage. Life orb is now the weapon of choice to sharpen those tusks. His icicle crash powers in to take down bulkier but slower dragons, Ice shard to take on the faster types that usually carry that 4x ice weakness. Leading him to be the ultimate revenge killer against dragons that will usually finish the job or force a switch.

His final move He carries that powerful stab Earthquake, as reliable as it has always been, not much need to justify or explain here we all know how widely useful this move is.

As a change up from stealth rocks we now have knock off, a very useful powered up move in Gen 6 which can really cripple a lot of enemies, a huge shame Tyranitar cannot arm himself with it over crunch. With this he can cripple opponents by taking away that relied on item and deals some hefty dark type damage.

Gliscor_v_2_by_Xous54.png

Gliscor/Batsy (M) Toxic Orb
Trait: Toxic Heal
EVs: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4Spe
Impish Nature (+Def, - Sp.Atk)
-Protect
-Substitute
-Toxic
-Earthquake
So here we have the teams Defensive wall and partner in crime to Tyranitar, being able to easily switch in on super effective physical ground and fighting moves. My Gliscor uses the standard Gen 5 set and in my travels I have yet to see why I wouldn't; Many times has this little stall wall saved my team and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
As always he comes in on something he can wall, sets up a sub, throws out toxic and stalls the opposing monster to death at the hands of toxic and if the opponent doesn't switch maybe the odd earthquake to speed up the process. I have played around with running knock-off and Taunt, but the lack of stalling really does hurt him and I think is better used on an offensive Gliscor that has access to flying gem.
His weakness comes from special attackers which is why he loves tag into Tyranitar. Together they create the wall that protects this team.
20131215092605!Aegislash.png

Aegislash/Soul Edge @ Air Balloon
Trait: Stance Change
Adament Nature (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
Evs: 252 Hp, 252 Atk, 4 Def
-Shadow Sneak
-Sacred Sword
-King's Shield
-Sword Dance

The only gen 6 pokemon currently in the team and one of my new favorites. Traveling he was definitely my secret weapon as so many people had no understanding of this guy. I have swept whole teams after opponents foolishly allowed me to +6 with 3 sword dances. This guy made Mega Gengar and Mega Kangaskhan completely useless, so much so I could not understand their bans on hearing about it through the grape vine. An unboosted Shadow Sneak OHKOs Mega Gengar and he completely walls standard Mega Kengaskhan, being immune to normal and fighting moves, immune to Earthquake with Air Balloon and able to drain all of the PP of Sucker Punch by dancing 5 times (sometimes 6 to make sure no PP ups had been used), resulting in perfect set up and sweeping the entire opposing team in most situations.

Combined with Air Balloon and thus negating the only real physical way to deal with Aegislash he cripples just about any physical attacker. He can easily switch in on a Earthquake aimed at Tyranitar or anyone else for that matter and force a switch out with King's shield which then allows this monster to begin setting up sword dance.

Shadow Sneak having priority allows Aegislash to revenge kill and as previously mentioned wipe out Mega Khan with ease and once boosted sweep whole teams. The final move being sacred sword to deal with those who might resist a +6 Shadow Sneak or be immune as a normal type.
On the Bench
Red_Genesect.jpg

Genesect @ Lum Berry

EVs: 234 HP / 252 Atk / 24 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Shift Gear
- Blaze Kick
- Iron Head
- Extreme Speed

Updates
So Working with some suggestions I have benched Gliscor in place of Ferrothorn. Althotough I have yet to lose with the change up I was still not sure about the change, however I do still greatly enjoy not being slept by Tangrowth, but I do now have a lot of trouble dealing with Mega Venasuar with Ferrothorn, especially physical varients which can take Tyranitar. Originally Gliscor handled this easily with Tyranitar taking the special varients, so now I am down to the choice of avoiding sleep or having less pokemon the wall combo can take. So far I am choosing to stick with Ferrothorn as I am really enjoying having Knock Off on Mamoswine combined with the coverage of superpower.

This gen the Garchomp triangle turned into a Garchomp Square. I started with Choice band, moved to Garchompnite now I am back to my old favorite Focus Sash. With the weather Nerf and many new threats and many old ones coming back with pokebank I am finding that Focus Sash works best on this team.

I took in Jesus advice and changed the EV spread on Rotom with the move change up. However this made Rotom so ineffective I might of well just had five pokemon. So with this in mind I have gone back to using my Original Rotom set up which has really improved his performance from the Sp.Def set.

At the moment I am looking into how much I use Aegislash, with Rotom being my effective Aegislash counter, Mega Gengar and Mega Kangaskhan being moved to uber I am now debating if I even have a use for Aegislash on the team. At first he would solo entire teams as people just did not know how to deal with him, but mind games are getting less effective as everyone knows how to trick Aegislash in to Shielding to land a hit, however my Air Balloon set still seems to throw people off. With all this in mind I have been considering changing Aegislash to Shift Gear Genesect. With Pokebank live I have been able to trade over my Shiny Japanese Event Genesect which carries a much needed fire coverage move in Blaze kick, along with Iron head for some steel coverage and Extreame speed to revenge kill.

Finally in the updates section, I have been running a very offensive Tyranitar, I am now going for a more tankier idea of running a 252 HP / 4 Sp.Atk / 252 SpD EV spread, at the moment I am also trying a Sassy nature and dropping attack, I might also try 252 Hp, 76 Atk, 180 Sp.Def, I will update as necessary when I decide. Finally I am running Flamethrower over earthquake to deal with opposing Ferrothorn, Forteress, Scizor and Tangrowth.

Final Notes
So there you have it, my Sandstorm team thus far. I plan on using this team via WiFi and in ranked where they meet requirements which means I am limited to breed-able Pokemon for IV reasons and thus not much access to event only moves and B/W2 tutors, although I will post in what I would use if I were doing so.

I would like to thank those of you who have read this for your times and I keenly await replies on how I can further fine tune this team or even make some changes.

Big thanks to Jesus Vazquez and Ogami for all their helpful advice and contributions.

Nice team OP! Not sure how much of the meta you have seen (WIFI, ranked or not, is not the greatest demonstration) but Rotom-wash is better suited as a defensive poke in the current meta. A standard set for rotom is:
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
IVs: 30 Spd
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split

the 30 speed ivs is to outslow other rotoms so that you can get the momentum when you volt switch, which will help you with match ups. Leftovers helps negate sandstorm damage and will-o-wisp is great at stopping any physical attacker, and running a defensive set gives you more opportunities to spread burns, especially with that accuracy. Also, pokemon bank is out in the states as of this post, so no problems there!

As for your team, Assault vest guts Conkeldurr dominates you, specifically ones that run knock off and ice punch (Which I find to be most if not all of the conkeldurr sets around.) It will happily take a burn from rotom and can knock off its item for nice damage, ice punches glizcor and garchomp ( it can live through its unboosted attacks), drain/mach punches ttar, and has no problem with aegislash with super effective knock off. Mamoswine is your lead so it probably won't live to face conkeldurr, and even then it doesn't handle it too well. I'm going to recommend two things that work together. First:

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

An offensive set for Mamoswine is great, knock off will help against most other leads who rely on leftovers, and incase you didn't know knock off got a buff this gen, it does double damage if ithe opposing pke is holding an item and with it's bp of now 65, that is great. Thick Fat to help with fire pokes since oblivious does nothing with this set. To go with your lack of stealth rocks and to deal with conkeldurr, I recommend:

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Power Whip
- Protect
- Toxic

Rocky helm + iron barbs helps you with any physical attackers. This set has synergy with the team, and can run as your defensive wall in replace of glizcor.

Sounds like some interesting change ups. Which could work very nicely for the simulator battles.
However not so helpful on my cart team as I would need to hunt down some Gen 5 mons, do move tutor moves pass on to the babies? as I am not fond of the idea of starting a new Gen 5 game to breed perfect rotom and mamoswine again to acquire pain split and knock off.

I do like the sounds of the Ferrothorn change up as I do not have much counters in the way of stopping spore and I also have problems with water types so ferrothorn here could solve both those problems and that is the exact set up I had as a Gen 5 lead so easy enough to breed a new one to get the Gen 6 stamp on it.

I don't think move tutor moves pass on unless they're egg moves, so that can be an issue. If you want you can just get the pokes through pokecheck and pokegts, as long as everything is legal there should be no problem with passing it through pokemon bank. Personally I would recommend atleast trying for a rotom with rest instead of pain split, I'm pretty sure it can be done in 6th gen breeding and the set is pretty much the same just with a chesto berry. I'm sure you can see by the amount of teams with rotom that it is a good investment.

Surprisingly up until now I only saw one Conkeldurr and i felt with him pretty easily. Hit him with wisp, sent out slash who further minused 2 via shield and it was no problem. However sounds like he can be a big problem if used right. My concern with the ferrothorn switch is talonflame.
too many times has a late game clean up via flame only been stopped by gliscor, mostly due to stone miss.

\

Talon shouldn't be too hard, bait it out with ferro, then switch to gar. He tanks talon easy and gets a free swords dance/hard hit on the switch. Or lead with rotom, volt switch into ferrothorn whenever, use stealth rocks the turn it switches to talon (If it doesn't free stealth rocks), then switch to either ttar, gar, or rotom which can take a hit and either clean talon up or force a switch, and with x4 stealth rocks and a rotom in your pocket the talon should be done. Both of these are fairly easy to do
Like I said, Guts conkeldurrs are your worries, they get boosted when burned and -2 from kings shield doesn't stop a 2HKO knock off in shield forme, if it gets -4 it can switch and allow another mon to clean up with EQ.

So an update. Worked a night shift last night, which pretty much meant me sitting in front of a PC playing Pokemon all night. I have been breeding, hunting, trading and leveling. I have updated the team and will be testing this version 2 out.

I managed to get a thick fat mamoswine with knock off and another thick fat mamoswine with knock off and superpower. Will try out superpower over icicle crash. I have now also imported my old Rotom-W with Pain split and have thus updated his moveset.

I am also trying out ferrothorn with leech seed to see if I like that more.

p.s
rebreeding my Garchomp for Iron Head...... never have I had to hatch so many eggs to get perfect IVs again........

Hello there to Mr.Vazquez and any lurkers.

I have been breeding, EVing, leveling and finally battling.

So far I am loving knock off mamoswine, it has been doing a very good job of wrecking people, especially stallers on switch in losing their healing item really wrecks them. Also since moving to a more offensive Mamoswine I have found I do not even need icicle crash so switching it out for Superpower has given more coverage. Just a big shame you cannot use these two moves in special format.

I am definitely missing Gliscor, especially toxic healing, however I do like being able to lead with Ferrothorn and not worry about Spore or Sleep powder. So far it has been doing good in the team. However even with Ferrothorn settling in nicely and I have had to tag Garchomp in a lot sooner than I normally would to cover that fire weakness.

That all said, I am definitely not liking the change in Rotom at all. He is far too slow to be useful. Pain Split is good and all, but normally Rotom will not survive the second hit to be able to use it and volt switch being the only electric coverage move is not helping, especially as when you KO something with volt switch they see what you switch into before they pick their own monster -,-

The team still needs some tweaking but I will work on it and update, any contributions are welcome.

p.s
The moment I put flamethrower on Tyranitar I came up against a shaymin and destroyed it. So far, good shout.

Hey! So I'm sorry this is sooooo late but I got really caught up with school. I haven't been playing much singles when I do get the chance, but you're using some of my favorite mons so I'll try to be of some help.

First, I'm sure that if you're still using this team that it really loves the lack of lucarionite and genesect. Even with the most egregious fighting type out of the way, your team definitely has a fighting weakness that can't always rely on aegislash as it's crutch. That thing will get worn down with tyranitar, ferrothorn and mamoswine having some similar weaknesses.

As much as I love Mamoswine I think he should be replaced. I love that big lug so much, but I don't think he's as good this gen. Ice shard doesn't feel as important, and he has zero switch in opportunities. If you're team had more slow-turning then he could function as some kind of wallbreaker, but as is the meta is really hard on him. I would think about using a scarf lando-t instead, which can help revenge a lot of the same things as Mamo, while providing great pivot support, u-turn momentum and giving you a guy that can switch in on fighting/ground moves. While this does give you two quad ice weakness I think him and garchomp cover different enough roles, with the rest of your team providing solid defensive coverage against any ice type attack you'd commonly come across.

Something like this:

Landorus-T@Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252 Att / 252 / 4 Def Spe Jolly
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-U-turn
-Knock Off

I prefer Knock Off as the final move, but Hp Ice with 4 Ev's in Special attack and a naive nature could work too.

Since I love Mamo so much, and in case you are very adamant about using him, here's the moveset I'd use on him for your team.

Mamoswine@Life Orb
Ability:Thick Fat (Wait, how awesome would it be if he got fur coat)
EV's: 240 Att / 16 SpA / 252 Spe

-Ice Shard
-Icicle Crash
-Freeze Dry
-Earthquake

When I do have success with Mamo, man do I love freeze dry. It seems ridiculous to run a special attack on mamo, but it's just right for the meta right now. With a life orb and 16 Ev's you have a guaranteed 2hko on defensive Rotom-Wash. You also ohko gyarados giving you a great move to common Mamo checks. You deal hefty damage to defensive gastrodon/quagsire too which is nice. This mamo really helps your garchomp/ aegi sweep, but I'm not sure your team supports it well enough with free switches.

I would really love to see aegi switch to the special wall breaker variant. I find stance dance to be pretty overwhelmed in the meta now. Try something like this:

Aegislash@leftovers/Life Orb/Spooky Plate
Ability:Stance Change
EV's:252 Hp / 252 SpA / 4 Att Quiet
-Shadowball
-Shadow Sneak
-Iron Head
-King's Shield

Iron Head over Sacred Sword to hit the faeries Garchomp doesn't like, while Chomp can eat through anything sacred sword would have cared about. This definitely changes aegi's role from sweeper to wall breaker and is suggested in tandem with the scarfed lando-T suggestion. With lando's speed you no longer need a second sweeper and instead would benefit more from a reliable wallbreaker to help soften things up for garchomp and lando.

For Rotom-W and Ferrothorn I would suggest some EV changes. Rotom-Wash really wants to be a defensively invested pivot this gen unless you're scarfing it or specsing it like a madman (I love specswash). Defensive investment really helps check all of the flying stab running around this gen. I'd give yourself 44-52 Speed evs to outspeed defensive Lando-T with the rest in hp and defense with a bold nature.

I would give Ferrothornvmixed defensive ev's to help take the load off of T-Tar if you also need him to wear down mandibuzz or something. With Rotom-Wash having more reliable defenses, and the intimidate from Lando-T, a lot of physical pressure will be taken off of ferrothorn. I'm not an expert on Ferrothorn Ev's but I like 88 def/ 168 Special defense with a relaxed ( I might be wrong on this one +def, -SpA) nature, the rest in Hp.

Again, I'm sorry I'm so late to respond to your message but I hope this helps in any way

Wow, kind of necroing my own thread but this is not a pointless bump. After a very long break from pokemon (kinda fell into the acting business and have been super busy), I have finally updated to version 3.

Taking Ogami's last notes the team has been updated again and is now better, faster, stronger and a whole lot more scary. Every member now can work very well on this team with no seconds thoughts is a certain pokemon been carried by the rest of the team.

From the wall synnergy between Ferrothorn and Tyranitar, to the pivoting with Rotom-w and Landorus to the ugh Smash of Garchomp and Gengar this team is a powerhouse. No more slow set ups like the first version, no more risky switches like the second, just a well oiled machine with each member perfectly carrying out their task.

Still up for debate on tweaks and changes and I am still test playing this team, but so far it is a lot more enjoyable than the older versions.
