Absol @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Knock Off
- Zen Headbutt
- Baton Pass / Ice Beam
- Fire Blast

So Absol running a Choice Scarf can yield some pretty funny results. Most people expect to send in something faster to force Absol to Sucker Punch only to see it outspeed and smack (and likely KO) them with Knock Off. Zen Headbutt takes out the likes of Virizion, Emboar, and Venusaur without many questions or issues. Baton Pass is useful to keep up momentum and allow you to scout for Absol's counters. Fire Blast is the last move to revenge kill Durant and hit most opposing Steel-types for solid damage, especially Mega Steelix. EVs for Absol are pretty simplistic with max Attack and Speed. Naive is used so Fire Blast's power isn't gimped. Ice Beam is a notable alterantive to Baton Pass so Absol can surprise opposing Tyrantrum with it for heavy damage. Absol's raw power means it will need less damage on opposing teams than other Choice Scarf users and base 75 puts Absol ahead of Tyrantrum. Make sure to have answers for opposing Medicham and Accelgor as Absol is outsped by both and OHKOed by their STAB moves. Priority, especially Mach Punch, spells doom for Absol as well due to its frailty, so make sure that they're removed for Absol.

Absol @ Black Glasses
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass

Baton Pass is a fun option on SD Absol as it allows you to pass your boosts onto another mon that can handle Absol's 'counters', like Fletchinder and personally I have been using it with 4-attacks Durant. Plus without any boosts, BP is still nice to gain momentum and ease some prediction. Black Glasses over Life Orb because you only have Dark coverage and Leftovers I've found to be meh on such a frail mon like Absol.

Celesteela is Life

Absol @ Life Orb
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Superpower
- Will-O-Wisp

This Absol variants forgoes coverage in the 4th slot to cripple physically attacking switchins, like Granbull and Hitmontop, so they cannot do anything to your other teammates. Nice and simple really, if you're God Absol can learn Hex but that's really bad. A good partner for this is Hex Rotom as it abuses the crippling Absol causes with it's STAB Hex and can also defeat Poliwrath and Fighting-types rather nicely. Watch the fuck out for Gurdurr though.

Thunder Wave Absol

Absol @ Life Orb
Ability: Super Luck
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Thunder Wave
- Superpower
- Play Rough

In my opinion the addition of Thunder Wave enables Absol to neuter i.e. some Fighting types (in general every pokemon faster than itself) thus supporting your teammates with the free turns provided this way. The loss of Sucker Punch is huge but is unexpected and this can lead your opponent to play around this priority even if is cut from the 4 moves.

Absol @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch / Iron Tail
- Swords Dance
- Fire Blast

Mixed SD Absol! Basically this set lures Steelix, as that's usually the main switch into it. Life Orb is basically here to boost the power of Fire Blast, because if we're being completely honest it's SpA sucks. Everything else is self-explanatory as Absol is a pretty basic set-up mon (almost as much as Fletch). Hasty is there because speed is nice on Absol to outspeed other Absol. The loss of another coverage move is pretty huge, but tbh who cares when you're bopping Mlix left and right like a boss

Aerodactyl @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Hone Claws
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

So this is basically a set up aerodactyl where you come in one something that cant break your sub, a status user such as will-o from cofag or something you can threaten out, sub and from there you even hone claws or attack. you main stab is stone edge with the second attack being EQ with both of those you can deal decent damage to almost everything
