Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Poison Touch
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Scald / Earth Power
- Knock Off
- Poison Jab / Ice Punch
- Stealth Rock

Seismitoad is commonly seen with Water Absorb as its ability, and for good reason. However, this set tries to use its Poison Touch ability while still being productive. Scald is the primary option for a STAB move due to the 30% burn chance and ability to handle Rhyperior that much more easily. Earth Power is a good alternative if Seismitoad is your team's main answer to Electric-types like Jolteon and Manectric. Knock Off removes items from opposing Pokemon and can add insult to injury by Poisoning through Poison Touch. Poison Jab hits Fairies and Grasses while having its Poison chance stacked with Poison Touch. Ice Punch is a fine alternative to hit Venusaur on the switch, but the coverage on Fairies will be missed. Stealth Rock is obligatory on any defensive Seismitoad set and allows it to support the team. The EVs give Seismitoad good physical bulk while ensuring the power of its moves aren't gimped. Leftovers gives Seismitoad some form of recovery as it has no recovery move or Water Absorb on this set. This set isn't really meant to sweep or outright wall stuff. It's generally meant to remove items, spread Poison, and set Stealth Rock while checking physical threats of which it resists their STAB moves.

Seismitoad @ Salac Berry
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 8 HP / 92 Def / 184 SpA / 224 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Endeavor
- Scald
- Earth Power

there were a lot neat things that toad did pretty well pre-venu (lefties subtox was a beast, plus a bunch of iterations of fast sr did well), but now its kinda harder to justify. went about this set as a method of exploiting those kinda venu lynchpinned balances. pretty basic stuff, you endeavor down and force a trade, which can set up a fighter to go in (i liked using gurdurr, scrafty, and edge viriz here, stuff that really doesn't wanna be compromising their movesets exclusively to account for venu). this is particularly solid at pressing the issue b.c usually their complementary water is somethin like a momo or toise that's skimping on attacking options outside scald, meaning both that they cannot actively pressure in venu's stead and offer the free sub. evs outpace base 70's (moreso a minor extension on non + spe nature 80's) and avoid zong's eq from breaking the sub. having something like pursuit drap around to stuff jellicent, king, etc. and press the ko post-endeavor in certain circumstances can do nicely here.

Running Fire (Seismitoad) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Scald
- Refresh

Not sure how much this fits here but its a cool set that i dont see anyone run, refresh makes it so you completely wall mola(knock off is a lil annoying ig) and it makes toad a much better fletch check, i like eq better since it does around 40 to spdef diancie and it does more to hound/delphox

Hope your moms had a great Mother's Day, fam.

Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 120 HP / 136 Def / 252 SpD
Nature: Bold / Calm
- Wish
- Scald
- Protect
- Healing Wish

So Alomomola is most known for passing the biggest Wishes around and this set still does that. However, I'm sure we've all had that moment where Alomomola isn't going to be able to handle what the opponent has left and there's something you need to heal, but can't due to it being too low in HP to reliably switch in. Enter Healing Wish! Yeah, this is a really cute way to make Alomomola work on faster teams since it can sit there and check what it's supposed to until one of your sweepers has the opening it needs to sweep. Losing out on Toxic and Knock Off can suck, but remember that Venusaur does good vs bulky Waters and the Psychics you're hitting with Knock Off can be handled by a Pursuit user like Sneasel. Outside of Healing Wish, the set is pretty standard fare for what Alomomola has. Bold gives Mola a better chance vs Fighting-types and Calm lets Mola better handle Mega Rupt and Delphox, the latter of which can prove troublesome without Toxic and Knock Off. You basically play Alomomola as you normally would, but make sure that you have a reliable check to bulky Waters and Delphox since Mola can't reliably handle them without Toxic or Knock Off. On the plus side, Healing Wish lets you play much more aggressively with the rest of your team since you're not nearly as afraid of status and coverage moves since Healing Wish can bail you out later.

Alomomola @ Rindo Berry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 120 HP / 136 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Mirror Coat

Something like Special Virizion or Energy Ball Sigilyph attacks you thinking you'll be KOed but then you hit them with the tactical lure. Also helps against special sweepers who can't get an OHKO against you.

posting some calcs eventually

Alomomola @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 152 SpD / 108 Spe
Careful Nature
- Toxic
- Substitute
- Waterfall
- Knock Off

Sub Toxic Alomomola looks something fun to use. Regenerator gives a form of recovery because I didn't find the space for Wish. EVs spread allows Mola to outspeed Blastoise and sub in front of him without getting toxiced and you can do a 20HKO with Knock Off and Waterfall!!!

I don't have to take this. I'm going for a walk.

Alomomola @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Adamant Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Waterfall
- Bounce
- Knock Off
- Healing Wish

Defensive sets are nice and all, but it doesn't hurt to expand the horizons a bit which explains this set of offensive Healing Wish which can still take hits, but at the same time not be so passive. Waterfall for STAB, Bounce for Grass-types which normally switch in no problem bar Toxic which Roselia, Venusaur, and Lum Berry Virizion don't mind though the 2 turn move is annoying once they switch. Knock Off for utility and Healing Wish for setup sweepers, nothing fancy.
