A bit of twist on standard CM Slowking. This set works in an attempt to alleviate some of Slowking's main issues, mainly its weakness to Dark-type moves and its low Speed. With Colbur Berry attached, Slowking can serve as a one-time check to pesky Dark-types such as Sharpedo, Houndoom, and Absol, while crippling opposing Psychic-types such as Meloetta and Sigilyph with Thunder Wave. This set is also nice when it comes to supporting slow wallbreakers such as Tangrowth, Exploud, and CB Aggron considering it's very easy for Slowking to spread around paralysis.

The BEST Slowking set EVER. Facing a dark type? BEATEN BY DRAIN PUNCH. Need help beating Drapion or an electric type? BEATEN BY EARTHQUAKE. Need an effective STAB move? ZEN HEABUTT HAS GOT YOU COVERED. This set proves that RU is truly the godliest tier around, and shows how much our lord and savior Arceus has truly blessed us. If you want twice the heat, the 2nd best mon in the tier (second only to Slowking and this set of course) Ninjask helps pass those nice speed boosts to Slowking

Because who doesn't love stall? Substitute/Slack Off works with Toxic to wear your opponent down, then use Brine (which doubles in power when the opponent's hp is down to half) to finish them off. Leftovers if you want a little recovery each turn, or Colbur Berry to tank a knock off while you get off a Toxic or Sub. Watch out for pokemon such as Jellicent and Qwilfish as they can switch in on any move and shut it down completely with Taunt.

Afraid of useless calm mind wars? Want to make CB and specs users cry? Have no fear, Slowking is here. CM Disable lets Slowking set up on opposing Slowking (take note in the extra speed, it helps). It also bops Pokemon like CB Tyrantrum and Specs Meloetta who may come in to try and attack it by forcing them to struggle next turn, giving you more set up chances or a free scald. You can also guarantee a free escape from Spiritomb.

Status Spreading Slowking! The idea of this set is to put around Paralysis with Thunder Wave, and then use Dragon Tail to force something else out until as many things are paralyzed as possible! From there, Slowking's large HP, Leftovers, Regenerator ability, and reliable recovery in Slack Off makes this Pokémon extremely difficult to take out! The last spot goes to either Scald for damage and an extra status, or Seismic toss to damage things that scald won't! Just be wary of Taunt!

WHY IS THIS NOT A SET YET...anyways. Slowking is extremely bulky and can set up on pokemon like delphox, omastar, typhlosion, and several others. Substitute catches a lot of people by suprise as they will usually send in either momo or moongy to just cripple it. Sorry man, but sub says no :(. ((OBLIVIOUS IS TO SOAK TAUNTS))After a NP on the switch, you know what to do. Not a lot resists both scald and psyshock, and will easily kill most of the meta. I feel this is an underrated set and should get more recognition. (whats up with the spread, you ask?) 4 speed allows it to outspeed 0 speed slowking. The rest is self explanitory.

THE KING OF CROS... CROKING!!! Basically, this Slowking variant uses the Resttalk combination to avoid many things that screw over standard CM King, like Toxic and burn damage. Since Slowking is so fucking bulky, it sets up on a lot of stuff, like Fire and Fighting types. Scald is used as the attack here as it's the most realiable one, having a chance to burn physical attackers to make it's already high defense even higher. Oblivious is used over Regenerator because this set is TauntBait up the ass. Overall, CroKing is a cool set that works pretty well against a lot of the meta and should be used more. Spread is used to maximize Defense while 4 Speed allows CroKing to outspeed uninvested base 30's and set up on them.
