Currently CLOSED. Do not contact me for my legendary or shiny Pokemon. If you need a breedable from here, I will be willing to trade you a clone if you can find me during my times of availability. I won't dawdle, wake up early, or stay up late for you.

Hi, I'm Rufus, and welcome to my thread. I offer a large selection of rare ball females, shiny breeds, and low prices, so please don't hesitate to ask after something you're interested in.

General Rules

Ps and Qs: Forget silence, this is the golden rule. I can't stress this enough: whatever you are asking for, say please and thank you. I will not hesitate to be rude to people who are rude to me. What a lie, I'm as gentle as a lamb, but you know what I mean.
Edit books and movies, not Pokemon: Don't offer or trade me anything you so much as suspect is a hack. All of my Pokemon are completely legitimate and I expect the same courtesy.
I'm only interested in what is yours: With few exceptions, I only want Pokemon you have bred, RNGed, or SRed yourself.
Redistribution: My non-nicknamed legendaries are non-redis. Everything else is fully-redis. Please respect that.
Wi-fi Blacklist: I don't trade with people on the Wi-fi blacklist, sorry.
Lay all your cards on the table: I don't have a wants list so be explicit about what you are offering me. Tell me exact IVs (an 'X' is only acceptable where the stat doesn't matter), nature, Pokeball, and other pertinent information.
Credit where it's due: Please mention me if you redistribute any of my Pokemon. Credit if I give you a parent is cool too, but not necessary.
Watch your language: Type in proper English. As per the Smogon global rules, do not use leetspeak or short form words such as 'ur' and 'pls'.

Tools I use

Powersaves for cloning and making back-up save files.

Codes: x999 items and 9,999 BP.

KeySAV2 for checking egg shiny values.

I use VirtualBox to run Powersaves on a Mac, which is a cruel daily reminder of exactly why I switched from Windows to a Mac in the first place.

Please don't ask me to clone or check eggs for you. Post in the SQSR thread or the SV checking thread and I will volunteer if I have time.

Gabe: One of the first people I really started to take to when I was starting out on Smogon. I had previously only done Pokemon trades on Tumblr, and when I first traded with him, he was just so nice and accommodating, it made me warm up to Smogon a lot.

Esmeya: Without a doubt, the first person to inspire me to try to help people out on Smogon whenever I can. I used to marvel at how she helped people without ever seeming to want anything in return, and hoped that I could be like that. Right now, I'm doing something somewhat similar, and I still don't have anything I can help her with?? :[

.com: Yeah, if you don't know why he's on everybody's whitelist, you're probably new. The way he moderates this forum is an inspiration for me when I have to moderate other sites too.

Fiat500: A sweet guy, a great friend, and an impressive breeder to boot, he always cheers me up and I love talking to him.

Oh yeah, and anyone who ships my OTP (or even just thinks I'm not in the wrong for shipping them) is automatically on my whitelist.

I don't have a blacklist, but I do use the Ignore button. I only do so very sparingly, however; currently there are only three people I'm ignoring, either because they have been persistently rude to me or my friends, or because they cancelled a trade without telling me in advance. I won't trade with these people.

Wants

Females in rare balls. I have quite a lot already so any I trade for now are just to complete my collection, therefore I'm likely to accept almost anything.

Males with egg moves. If you'd like to accept a breeding project from me, this is the type I will probably give you.

I'm not interested in shinies or legendaries ~~unless RNGed by someone cool, like Kaphotics or Chev4.~~

Then again, my idea of what is tempting is quite different from most other people's, considering I don't care for anything except females in rare balls.

SRed by me on my AS file. I've been doing this on and off for a little while so I can't say how long it took me to get this exactly, but it's definitely the quickest SR I've got so far. Modest Suicunes usually don't run any Special Defense investment at all so at level 50, this is flawless.

Fill in this form if you would like one of my breedables as a shiny, and/or you want it differently from how I have prepared their parents (for example, if I only have Relaxed Ferroseed listed, you may use this form to ask for a flawless Sassy Ferroseed).

Important note about how I breed:
In breeding, I use a flawless spread I have saved using the Time Machine Breeding Method and Powersaves. This means that you will always receive flawless Pokemon from me and they will more than likely be cloned. Therefore, I am perfectly fine with receiving clones of flawless Pokemon or spitbacks in return.

General trading policy:

One flawless female for one flawless female (may change depending on gender ratios)
One flawless male/any gender for one spitback female.
One custom shiny for three flawless females.
One custom shiny for one RNG/DexNav capture project.

But as mentioned, I have pretty much everything so you'll probably find that I'm willing to do projects for much less than advertised. Please only request breedables that I have.

Welcome to the Battle Spot Battle Ready Pokemon giveaway! As the title implies, here we will give out Pokemon perfectly ready for you to bring into battle. Please read the rules before requesting a Pokemon.

Notice: The distribution team is currently low on staff, so if you'd like to help, please let us know!
This is a long-term project that needs dedication, so please be sure you know what you're signing up for. Feel free to PM or VM either rufus drumknott or cant say if you have any questions.

Knowledge of breeding and training: IV-breeding (including Hidden Powers), TSV hatching, Time Machine Breeding Method; EV-training using hordes and power items, levelling up using Secret Bases/restaurants or rare candies.
Knowledge of soft-resetting: using IV-checkers and O-Powers, and patience!
A legitimate method of cloning: using QR code abuse, or using Powersaves.
Familiarity with the Smogon Wifi subforum: we don't expect you to have a kicking trade thread, but you must at least know your way around, and bonus points for being a regular. You will probably find yourself having to use this subforum often.
Time! This giveaway will require you to spend at least an hour every day distributing Pokemon to people, and extra time to breed and train new Pokemon.
Additionally, we would prefer a new distributor to live in Asia or Australia as the current distributor is in GMT, and we would like to cover requests from the other side of the globe in an equally timely manner.

General Rules

Be polite:

This is a project that the breeding team do in their spare time, so be sure to request nicely and thank them afterwards!

Use English:

This is a Smogon-wide rule. Using chatspeak will lead to your post being ignored and/or deleted.

Respect redistribution rights:

The Pokemon in here are bred or soft-resetted by the breeding team, or were donated by other people. They have consented to making their Pokemon fully-redistributable, meaning you are allowed to trade them to other people for free, but do not trade them for other Pokemon of value. You are free to breed from them but please don't bring these Pokemon to trade threads in the Wi-fi subforum and offer them for other people's Pokemon.

Do not PM or VM the mods or the distribution team to request a Pokemon:

You must post in this thread to ask for a Pokemon. Personally contacting a mod or the team is for questions only. If something goes wrong in sending you your Pokemon, someone will contact you.

There is no need to reserve Pokemon:

These Pokemon are all cloned and so anyone can ask for any of the Pokemon. We will not run out of stock so there is no need to claim a Pokemon. Just post whenever you are ready to request it.

No hacking:

Do not trade the distributors hacked Pokemon, even if you only created a Magikarp for trade fodder. In addition, do not edit these Pokemon with a hacking device once you receive them. Customising them legitimately is fine, using Powersaves or other tools to edit IVs, shininess, etc., is not.

Requesting Pokemon:

Who is allowed to request?

Any member of the forums is allowed to request up to three Pokemon. To request more, you must be active on the Battle Spot subforum and/or the Pokemon Showdown! or IRC chat rooms.

What does it mean to be 'active' on the forums/chatrooms?

The mods know it when they see it, but if you think you post semi-regularly to the forums, then you're fine to request more.

How many Pokemon can I request?

You may request one Pokemon every 24 hours. This goes even for the first three Pokemon you can request before you must become active on the forum to request more. If we feel someone is being too greedy, the mods or the distribution team is allowed to ask them to stop requesting for a period of time.

Can I request an item to come with my Pokemon?

The Pokemon come with their recommended item by default, but you may ask for a different item within reason - don't ask for non-battle items or an item that Pokemon wouldn't possibly use. Unfortunately, the GTS does not allow trading Mega Stones within it so we will not be able to send out Mega Stones with your Pokemon, but you may ask for one from the Simple Questions and Requests thread in the Wi-fi forum, and someone is sure to help you out.

Can I request a different nickname/nature/IVs/anything else?

No. This is to keep track of the Pokemon we send out, and we don't have time to rebreed or retrain Pokemon to tailor to you besides.

Where are these Pokemon from?

They were bred or soft-resetted for by a member of the breeding team, or were donated by other kindly people. They were then cloned through the use of Powersaves.

How to request a Pokemon:
- Obtain a Magikarp, either by breeding or catching in the wild. Look here to find out where you can catch wild Magikarp in your game.
- Upload it to the GTS, asking for the Pokemon you would like to request. Make sure you set level, as well as gender, if possible.
- Put 'Battle Spot' as your message.
- Post here with your in-game name, the level and gender of your Magikarp, as well as its nickname, if it has one, and state the species and nickname of the Pokemon you would like to receive.
- We will send you your requested Pokemon in due time, and like your post once we have sent it.
- If any issues pop up, a team member will contact you directly.

I started this thread this week with the intention of finishing it, but thanks to my dad's excellent sense of timing, I won't actually be home for the rest of the week so I can't answer any requests for my BR Pokemon yet. I'm going to go ahead and open requests for custom breeding services though, and I'll do them over the weekend :3

Oh btw, I will take down certain 'mons if I feel like people are just going 'ooh free Pokemon for my trophy case!' on me. These Pokemon want to go into battle, not your Pokebank :)
