Mega Lopunny + Hoopa-U + Gengar

Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Ice Punch
- Return
- High Jump Kick

Hoopa-Unbound @ Life Orb
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hyperspace Fury
- Fire Punch
- Grass Knot
- Hyperspace Hole

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Will-O-Wisp

Mega Lopunny and Gengar are already a great core, as Gengar beats the fairies that threaten the other two. Will-O-Wisp on Gengar helps cripple physical threats so Hoopa can actually take a hit and destroy the opposing pokemon. Since Hippowdon and bulky grounds can check Mega Lopunny, Hoopa is there to deal massive damage to them, especially with Grass Knot. I have Fire Punch on Hoopa-U to kill Mega Scizor, as it's an annoying pokemon to deal with. Hyperspace Hole > Psychic since Sub CM Keldeo gets a free kill if used. Overall it's an extremely powerful core that excels at wallbreaking.

I'm not sure it is possible to have Hyperspace Hole AND Fury in one set simply because said move transforms into the latter when in unbound form.

Every core is gonna have gengar lol.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp

Emboar @ Life Orb
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Hammer Arm
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- Sucker Punch

Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet

Use this on TR teams. Cofag can check some physical attackers like Azu and loppuny with mummy and wilowisp and set up TR on them. Crawdaunt and Emboar are strong physical wall breakers and kinda staples on TR offense.

Mega Hera works over Emboar but Emboar is less annoyed by Sabeleye so I went with that. It has priority and beats clef better than hera too. and has it a dope neckbeard.

I like Crawdaunt more than everyone's new favorite dark type; Hoopa, because Aqua Jet in TR makes it handle Talonflame better. It's also another Bisharp check, Bisharp is pretty annoying for TR to deal with so it's good to have multiple checks. SD is also nice if you can get it on a predicted protect from Ferro or something.

Gengar + Mega Tyranitar + Keldeo

+

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Icy Wind

Tyranitar @ Tyranitarite
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch
- Crunch

Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Scald

This core is based on the Offensive Synergy of Mega Tyranitar and Gengar. With the moves listed in the set, Tyranitar is walled by bulky Grounds and also struggles against Chesnaught and Alomomola. Gengar easily switches in and destroys the latter two while luring bulky Grounds with Icy Wind. In return, Tyranitar lures in Steels and fast Psychic types and defeat them with Fire Punch and Crunch.

Keldeo is the last Pokemon to complete the core and it is Scarfed to make the core less weak to Mega Lopunny and Mega Diancie. Gengar also easily destroys Fairy-types that Keldeo struggles with while Keldeo beats Scizor and Hippowdon more reliably.

EDIT: Just realised that this core uses the same Pokemon as Skaren . However, the sets and goals of the core are different so is it enough to differentiate them?

Meloetta @ Life Orb
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 132 Atk / 144 SpA / 232 Spe
Hasty / Naive Nature
- Relic Song
- Psychic
- Close Combat
- Knock Off

This is a fun core that I used on a spikes stacking team a while back utilising MixMelo. IDK if this is cheating or not due to Meloetta-A being Normal-/Psychic-type, but I'll run with it anyway. Before I start, I'm just going to say that your choice of Hasty v.s. Naive comes down to whether you want to be able to live a crunch from uninvested Tyranitar in Aria forme 100% of the time before rocks so that you can come back in later (Naive) or if you want to make as best use of Meloetta-A's good special bulk (Hasty), so it completely comes down to personal preference. Anyway, Meloetta is unique in that it is the only Psychic-type that is capable of acting as a soft check to Gengar, being able to switch in on a Shadow Ball due to its normal typing and then only taking ≈60% from Sludge Wave. This also allows it to act as a secondary way of handling it alongside Bisharp due to the latter's hatred of Will-O-Wisp and being outpaced naturally forcing it to Sucker Punch so as to not eat a Focus Blast. However, with the use of Aria and Pirouette in combination, as well as the presence of spikes (which Bisharp and Gengar protect from Rapid Spin and Defog, respectively). I love the core of LO Gengar+Pursuit Bisharp due to how effective the combination is at spinblocking (although Gengar does need to be a little wary of Starmie due to its potential to carry Psychic/Psyshock). For spikes stacking teams, this becomes very difficult to stop once the ball is rolling, and it can be paired with stuff like Spikes Scolipede, Defogless Healing Wish Latias (e.g. Roost+HW+STABs or HW+3 attacks) and slow VoltTurners to very quickly make dents in the opposing team.

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Will-O-Wisp

Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Taunt
- Dragon Dance

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Spore
- Rock Tomb

So I started with Gengar because its sanic fast and is a ghost type. WoW is for stuff like Bisharp and T-tar so that Mega Gyarados can sweep more easily. Gengar also stops down mons like Chesnaught, Mega Alt, and checks Mega Gardevoir that can prove difficult for Mega Gyarados and Breloom. Gyarados's premega would have intimidate and oncer it megas taunt is for Mega Sableye, Chansey, and Rotom-W if they try to status/ recover. Breloom is for mons like Rotom-W, Keldeo, Azumarill, any annoying bulky water types that Mega Gyarados might struggle with. It also helps stop Ferrothorn to an extent and get damage to mons like Kyu-B which r difficult to deal with.

Cofagrigus, Conkeldurr, Crawdaunt
The CCC

Here we have 3 pokes that would make a great core as they cover each others weaknesses and bash enemies in the head.

Here are the movesets for each of them.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Trick Room
- Will-O-Wisp
- Toxic
- Pain Split

Conkeldurr @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Drain Punch
- Mach Punch
- Ice Punch
- Poison Jab

Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Aqua Jet

First the mummy that starts it all. We have here our starter of the trick room which makes slower pokemon go first for 5 turns. This cofin here has a sassy nature to increase its sp def for the cost of speed. 252 on hp, 252 on sp def, and 4 on def. The reason we have this ev set is because we want cofa to be able to take any hit with large hp and sp defense. We dont really need investment on def as if a physical attacker comes out, we just burn them. When the battle gets to the point where Cofagrigus needs to use trick room, just select trick room, then wreck havoc. Cofa isnt just used to start rooms. This set is used to give status depending on which pokemon its facing. If its a physical attacker, BURN IT. If its a very bulky pokemon, esp physically bulky pokes, then poison it. Its next move, pain split, is used for recovery. Leftovers is also used for recovery.

Next we got the big boy with the big sticks of concrete. This set instead of investing on speed to outrun some random pokes, we just put 20 back to sp defense. Thats pretty much it with that, also brave instead of adamant. For the item we have a flame orb to deal as much damage with drain punch, ice punch, or poison jab until time expires. We have drain punch as a HUGE damaging move and its form of recovery, mach punch for when trick room runs out and you still got to take care of this poke with 4 hp left, poison jab to deal with fairies, and ice punch to whoop landorus, garchomp, salamence, latios, latias, and I guess Flygon if he ever gets a mega in pokemon Z.

And finally the rejected lobster for Red Lobster, Craudawnt. This little guy packs a punch even without boosts, with its awesome ability adaptability, should be part of a song, and its great typings to use it with. 2 types are better than 1 most of the time. Brave nature to make craw hit as hard as he can as fast as he can, with 252 on attack, 252 hp, and 4 on sp def. With moves you got crabhammer, which hits like a boat, knock off, which hits like a boat, swords dance, to be able to snag a 2+ on attack on switch ins, and aqua jet, which has the same explanation as conkeldurr.

Welp thats all folks.

Alright, so I'm going to be out of town until August 16th so AD Impish John will be in charge of this, so PM him if you have any concerns/questions. GL to everyone, and remember, this isn't a popularity contest, so take a look at everyone's cores, who knows, maybe you'll find a cool one that's by someone you don't know. Also, don't let other voters influence your own vote. Last time I think I saw 2 or 3 people literally vote for the same 2 people in a row, so just because everyone votes for the same people doesn't necessarily mean you have to.

Didn't expect this huh. This is an effective core I've been using on my offensive team, and it's a variant of Breloom + Tornadus-T which is very adept at breaking balance and checking each other's counters. As far as offensive synergy goes, Tornadus-T checks Mega Venusaur, Gengar, Latios, (Mega) Alakazam, Mega Charizard Y, Celebi, Amoonguss, Mega Slowbro, and Volcarona for Breloom, while Breloom deals with the likes of Heatran, Clefable, Azumarill, Mega Lopunny, Mega Gyarados, Mega Scizor, Rotom-W. Defensively, Breloom resists Electric and Rock, which Tornadus-T is weak to. Tornadus-T then provides momentum via U-turn, and Breloom has the utility of Spore to get past bulkier Pokemon such as Clefable and Jirachi. Tyranitar is a good partner, as between its Choice Scarf and good defensive stats, it can check the likes of Mega Charizard X, Jirachi, Mega Pinsir, Hoopa-Unbound, Mega Manectric, Weavile, Mega Diancie, Toxicroak, Talonflame, Tornadus-T, Mega Metagross, and Thundurus. Earthquake is used to net a super effective hit on Toxicroak, Mega Diancie, and Mega Manectric. Tyranitar can also Pursuit trap bulky Psychic-types that can deal with Tornadus-T's Knock Off and U-turn. Overall fun core to use on offense, pairs up nicely with Mega Manectric for a VoltTurn core and having another answer to Azumarill and Keldeo.

Tyranitar + Gyarados + Mega Venusaur

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 88 HP / 192 Atk / 4 Def / 224 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce
- Substitute

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fire
- Synthesis

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Fire Blast / Ice Beam
- Crunch

Mega Venusaur and Gyarados share decent type synergy and defensive synergy as they can check Pokemon each other struggles with. For example, Mega Venusaur easily beats Mega Manectric, Slowbro and Chesnaught which Gyarados struggles against while Gyarados sets up on Jirachi, Gliscor and Volcarona. Tyranitar is added to the core to check Talonflame, and defeat Psychics such as Mega Metagross, Reuniculus and Mew while also Pursuit trapping Lati@s which is a pain for Mega Venusaur. Fire Blast is used to hit Scizor and Ferrothorn harder (it still won't 2HKO Skarmory). However, Ice Beam can be used to 2HKO Gliscor, Landorus-T and Bulky Garchomp, which is a nuisance for Gyarados.

BD Chesnaught + Talonflame + Tyranitar

BD Chesnaught is an interesting sweeper. Howewer, it is walled by a lot of Grass-type such as Mega-Venusaur, Celebi and Amoonguss. Here comes Talonflame. It forces Rotom-W, Tyranitar, Heatran, Landorus-T, Hippowdon to switch in, and you just have to U-Turn out into Chesnaught. To finish with, Tyranitar pursuit trap Starmie, and more importantly the Lati twins which wall Chesnaught. This core needs hazard support and a check to Keldeo, so Starmie is a good partner.

Chesnaught @ Salac Berry
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Substitute
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb

Talonflame @ Choice Band

Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz

- Steel Wing

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- Crunch

This is a pretty cool balance core. Ferrothorn is the Stealth Rock setter of the group as well as the primary Switch-inner. Tyrantrum functions as a Weallbreaker of the group, making room for Mega Aerodactyl to sweep.
Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aqua Tail
