And with all but one vote, Jedenn wins this week! Congratulations!!! n_n

This week is Mega week which means it is time to showcase another Mega. This particular Mega has been doing very well in the metagame and has in fact risen in popularity most recently due to its ability to grab momentum and keep up offensive pressure in such an offensively based meta.

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Drill Run / Knock Off
- Protect

Submissions end on Friday.

Kyurem @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Dragon Pulse
- Focus Blast

Kyurem is a cool mon to use alongside beedrill, they basically wear each other checks down and the momentum Beedrill brings is huge for a strong wallbreaker like kyurem. Also, not many people expect specs focus blast and expect steel types to beat Kyurem and then just drop which is amazing for beedrill.

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Roost

Hydreigon is a great partner for mega beedrill are truly two synergistic pokemon, Hydreigon appreciates the momentum generated by mega bee that puts pressure on the fairy-types, so as to keep them away from Hydreigon, in return Hydreigon, due to its wide coverage can threaten various physical walls that hold under mega bee control, this duo works well in bulky offense teams, and is currently very scary to balance teams.

Reserving Crobat

Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 248 HP / 48 Def / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-turn / Toxic / Taunt
- Defog
- Roost

Although they share a embarrassing rock weakness, Beedrill benefits a lot from Crobats support. Crobat is a reliable hazard remover for Beedrill while also being able to pivot out to Beedrill and keeping offensive momentum. Both Toxic and Taunt can either stop set up or put walls on timers, allowing Beedrill to break past them easier. Crobat also acts as a secondary check to many Grass and Fighting types as Beedrill is very prone to get worn down and the 2 of them paired together can easily open holes for other members of the team to sweep or clean up.

Reserving Rotom-Mow

Rotom-Mow @ Choice Specs/Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def (only if HP Ice)
- Volt Switch
- Leaf Storm
- Thunderbolt
- Trick/Hidden Power Ice

Rotom-C and
Mega Beedrill form an excellent offensive VoltTurn core that is capable of putting immense pressure on the opponents team. Rotom-C is arguably the best offensive Volt Switch user in UU because of its ability to threaten Ground types that try to absorb Volt Switch with Leaf Storm, which makes them more hesitant to switch in. This leaves Rotom-C with the following switch-ins: Grass types like Celebi and Whimsicott, Dragon Types like Hydreigon and Kyurem, and specially defensive walls like Blissey and Florges. Grass types get absolutely demolished by Mega Beedrill, the Dragon types don't like taking repeated Volt Switch and U-turn damage to their face either, and most specially defensive walls would rather avoid staying in on Mega Beedrill because of the physical prowess of its STAB moves. On the other side, Mega Beedrill's switch-ins usually are Steel types like Forretress and Cobalion, bulky Ground types like Swampert and Donphan, bulky Waters like Tentacruel and Empoleon, as well as certain Flying types in Mega Aerodactyl and Crobat. And guess what? Rotom-C threatens all of those with its respective STAB moves. Choice Specs is the preferred item on Rotom-C because of the ridiculous damage output it provides, but Choice Scarf can also be used to handle the faster threats (Mega Aero, Crobat, ...) to Mega Beedrill better, without taking too much damage in the process. HP Ice can be used over Trick to nail Mega Sceptile, which is immune to Electric attacks and four-times resists Grass, on the switch-in. This core should solely be used for its offensive capabilities as Rotom-C and Mega Beedrill don't cover each others type weaknesses at all. I suggest to pair them with reliable entry hazard support.

Magneton @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Ice

Despite its RU status, Magneton makes an incredible partner for Mega Beedrill to form a potent VoltTurn core. Choice Specs and a high Special Attack stat allows it to hit Mega Bee's physically defensive checks hard. In return, Mega Beedrill's powerful Adaptability moves have the power to eliminate Magneton's Grass-type and specially defensive checks. Finally, Magneton's Magnet Pull ability lets it trap Mega Beedrill's Steel-type checks such as Forretress while also giving Mega Beedrill the freedom to run Knock Off over Drill Run.
