Overview
########

Ursaring is one of the premier wallbreakers in PU. Its base 130 Attack allows it to deal out heavy damage to any foe in its path. Ursaring also has access to two great abilities in Guts and Quick Feet, both of which allows it to function even better as a physical attacker. However, in order for Ursaring to activate its ability, it must be either burned or poisoned, which will cut into its longevity. In addition, even with Quick Feet, it is still slow and requires either Sticky Web or paralysis support to outspeed faster Pokemon such as Raichu and Sneasel. Nonetheless, Ursaring has an advantage over other Normal-types such as Tauros and Bouffalant, as it doesn't mind being crippled with status and can take advantage of it as well.

Quick Feet
########
name: Quick Feet
move 1: Facade
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Crunch
move 4: Swords Dance / Protect
ability: Quick Feet
item: Toxic Orb
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

Facade does a lot of damage to any Pokemon that doesn't resist it. Close Combat hits Rock- and Steel-types that resist Facade, such as Golem and Bastiodon. Crunch hits Ghost-types such as Haunter, Gourgeist, and Misdreavus, which are immune to Facade and Close Combat. Swords Dance boosts Ursaring's Attack to enormous levels, allowing it to sweep more efficiently after it's been poisoned. Protect can be used over Swords Dance to guarantee Ursaring gets poisoned at the expense of the possibly giving the foe a free turn to set up.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack and Speed EVs and a Jolly Nature allow Ursaring to hit as fast and hard as possible. With a Jolly nature, Ursaring will be able to outspeed positive-natured base 105 Speed Pokemon such as Scyther and Kadabra after Toxic Orb activates. An Adamant nature can be used but the extra Speed to go after faster threats outweighs the extra power an Adamant nature would provide.

Usage Tips
========

You don't want Ursaring to switch into any attack because of the nature of its moveset and its poor defensive typing, so it's best to switch Ursaring in when another teammate has fainted or on an obvious status move. Quick Feet Ursaring is better suited for a late-game cleaner role. Use Swords Dance when the foe doesn't threaten Ursaring or if you predict the foe to switch. Be cautious when facing Ghost-type Pokemon, as they can switch into Facade and cost Ursaring valuable time. The same can be said about using not very effective moves as well.

Team Options
========

Ursaring appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Carracosta and Golem in order to net crucial OHKOs and 2HKOs. For example, after a Swords Dance and after Stealth Rock damage, Ursaring OHKOes Avalugg and physically defensive Gourgeist with Close Combat and Crunch, respectively. Pokemon that appreciate Ursaring's wallbreaking capabilities, such as Shell Smash Barbaracle and Calm Mind Swoobat, make for great teammates. Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon such as Kadabra, Mr. Mime, and Haunter are solid teammates for Ursaring, as they either resist or are immune to Ursaring's Fighting weakness while Ursaring covers their Ghost weakness and threatens Ghost-types with Crunch. Kadabra and Mr. Mime can use Encore on foes using setup moves and allow Ursaring to switch in and not take any damage. Other Normal-types such as Tauros and Purugly also make for good partners, as they can wear down one another's checks and counters. Pokemon that can use Volt Switch, U-turn, or Baton Pass are great teammates for Ursaring because they can allow Ursaring to switch in without taking damage and freely activate its Toxic Orb. Examples include Rotom-F, Raichu, Scyther, Zebstrika, and Togetic. Rapid Spin or Defog support from Pokemon such as Avalugg and Pelipper helps Ursaring, as it is susceptible to all entry hazards.

Guts
########
name: Guts
move 1: Facade
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Crunch
move 4: Protect / Swords Dance
ability: Guts
item: Toxic Orb / Flame Orb
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Adamant

Moves
========

Facade rips through all Pokemon that don't resist it and is Ursaring's go-to move. Close Combat smashes Rock- and Steel-types that resist Facade, such as Golem and Bastiodon. Crunch hits Ghost-types such as Haunter, Misdreavus, and Gourgeist, which are immune to Facade and Close Combat. Protect gives Ursaring a free turn to activate its status Orb while also allowing it to scout and dodge Fake Out. Swords Dance could be used over Protect, but it leaves Ursaring susceptible to attacks and gives the foe a free turn to set up.

Set Details
========
Maximum Attack and Speed EVs and a Adamant Nature allow Ursaring to hit as fast and hard as possible. A Jolly nature allows Ursaring to outspeed Aurorus and Rampardos and Speed tie with neutral-natured maximum Speed base 65 Pokemon such as Flareon and Heatmor. Toxic Orb is slashed over Flame Orb because three turns of residual poison damage is less than three turns of burn damage; however, if Toxic Orb is used, it's best not to keep Ursaring in longer than three turns if you plan to send it in later. Ursaring doesn't have to stay on the field if it is low on health, as it can still hit opposing Pokemon hard even in a weakened state, so feel free to switch it out.

Usage Tips
========

You don't want Ursaring to switch into any attack because of the nature of its moveset and its poor defensive typing; it's best to switch Ursaring in when another teammate has fainted or on an obvious status move. Swords Dance should be used if the foe can't do much to Ursaring or if it switches out. As this set forgoes the added Speed from Quick Feet for more power, it's best to use Ursaring for early- or mid-game situations to deal heavy damage to the opponent's team.

Team Options
========
Ursaring appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Golem and Barbaracle, as it helps turn 2HKOes into OHKOs and possible 3HKOs into 2HKOs. Stealth Rock guarantees that Ursaring can OHKO Pelipper with Facade and 2HKO physically defensive Gourgeist with Crunch. Revenge killers such as Scyther, Haunter, and Kadabra enjoy Ursaring's wallbreaking capabilities to weaken opposing Pokemon so they can clean up afterwards. Setup sweepers like Carracosta and Ninetales also appreciate Ursaring's wallbreaking ability. Other Normal-types such as Tauros and Purugly also make for good partners, as they can wear down one another's checks and counters. Ursaring would also thrive with Trick Room support from Pokemon such as Beheeyem or Duosion because of its slow Speed. Ursaring also covers their Ghost weakness, while Beheeyem and Duosion cover Ursaring's Fighting weakness. An EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD with a Brave nature would be more effective under Trick Room conditions. Ursaring also greatly appreciates Sticky Web support from Pokemon such as Kricketune and Leavanny because Sticky Web allows Ursaring to outspeed and beat faster grounded threats. In this case, a Jolly nature is preferred, as it allows Ursaring to outspeed everything up to maximum Speed positive-natured base 105 pokemon such as Kadabra. Pokemon with access to Volt Switch, U-turn, or Baton Pass are solid partners for Ursaring for their ability to bring it in after picking off a weakened foe or grab momentum for Ursaring to active its status Orb. Examples of these Pokemon include Raichu, Togetic, Rotom-F, and Scyther. As Ursaring is worn down by all forms of entry hazards, Rapid Spin or Defog support from pokemon such as Avalugg, Swanna, and Pelipper is greatly appreciated.

Other Options
########

Earthquake is an option over Close Combat to hit Rock-, Steel-, and Fire-types without the defense drops. Power-Up Punch can be used over Swords Dance to damage the foe and get an Attack boost in the process. However, despite Ursaring's wide physical movepool to take advantage of, its Normal + Fighting + Dark coverage handles most Pokemon in the tier.

Checks & Counters
########

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Avalugg can take an unboosted Close Combat and KO Ursaring with Avalanche. Tangela can tank an unboosted Facade and proceed to OHKO Ursaring with Leaf Storm after Stealth Rock and Toxic damage. Bulky Ghost-types such as Gourgeist, Eviolite Dusclops, and defensive Misdreavus can survive a Crunch and proceed to stall Ursaring out.

**Revenge Killers**: Ursaring is slow without Quick Feet, so it's easily KOed by any Pokemon that's faster than it such as Sneasel, Raichu, and Choice Scarf Pokemon in particular, such as Scyther, Rotom-F, and Haunter. Quick Feet Ursaring is threatened by everything above base 105 Speed.

**Priority Attacks**: Ursaring is susceptible to being revenge killed by Golem and Mightyena's Sucker Punch, Basculin's Aqua Jet, and Kecleon's Fake Out. Even if these attacks don't KO Ursaring they will certainly cut into its longevity.

**Passive Damage**: Ursaring is easily worn down because it's always poisoned or burned. Entry hazards cut into its longevity by adding damage every time Ursaring switches in. Foes can also try to stall out Ursaring with Protect or Substitute to the point where Ursaring is in range to be KOed.

Not much to pick on but..

Overview

Mention due to its strength, it is nearly impossible to switch into
Mention its niche over other normal types wallbreakers (bouff, tauros)
Mention facade somewhere with the two abilities
Even with quick feet it is slow (equilivant of base 93 iirc)

Quick Feet
########
Moves
========
Looks good, mention specific ghost types

Set Details
========
Mention kadabra and scyther instead of rapidash
I think adamant deserves a mention here, however mention why it is often worse than jolly
No need for the flame orb part, just say toxic orb is to activate its ability

Usage Tips
========
Sort this out in bullet point form and increase the length. I will comment when its done

Team Options
========
Give an example of a KO hazards get it (eg +2 252 Atk Ursaring Close Combat vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Avalugg: 306-362 (77.8 - 92.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock)
'Pokemon who can get rid of physical walls make great teammates for Ursaring. Flareon is a good example as it can get rid of physical walls like Avalugg and provide Wish support for Ursaring as it gets worn down easily.' I dont really understand this, not only does +2 cc kill ava after hazards, but flareon cannot wall break and provide wish support; they are too different sets, lastly, ursaring is a wallbreaker. Maybe mention sweepers which can take advantage of ursarings wallbreaking
The pokemon you mentioned with volturn dont get ursaring in for free, as they are really fast.

Guts
########
Moves
========
Just add examples of what the coverage hits

Set Details
========
I think jolly deserves a slash, it allows you to beat pokemon like auroras and rampardos, also ties with flareon and heatmor
I dont think it prefers toxic orb specifically, there are positives or negatives about both, just say why the positives of each. Also say that the orbs activate its ability

Usage Tips
========
Sort this out as well

Team Options
========
Do not copy and paste stuff from part to part, especcially when the information is false/doesnt make sense. The sets are different
CC should still be used on TR
Give more emphasis on sticky web, also say that jolly nature should be used.

Other Options
########
In what world are you taunting camerupt
Mention EQ, hits rocks and steels but no defense drops
Say that ursaring has a good movepool, but it already hits most of the meta with 3 moves
Mention power up punch and an alternate to SD

Checks & Counters
########
Mention specific pokemon for each catagory

**Revenge Killers** should be called 'faster pokemon' and should be mentioned first. Mention faster pokes and scarfers, also how ursaring is often warn down so is easily revenge killed. Stress how easily revenge killed it as, as it really doesnt have many switch ins

**Priority Attacks**: mention specific pokemon (eg Bascuilin's Aqua Jet). Say that they need prior damage to ko

**Entry Hazards**: i dont think this should be a section on its own. Maybe replace with 'passive damage', about how the orbs wear it down, hazards also, also other means of stalling like protect or substitute.

**Normal-type Resist Pokemon**: Remove this, all of them are screwed by coverage moves

All suggestions have been taken into account. Can look over again.

I will comment again when you sort out UT of the second set
Sorry about that. Thought i fixed that when i was getting my analysis together. Have sorted it and can be looked at again when ready.

TONE114 There is still some things you havent mentioned from what i suggested

Overview

Quick Feet
########
Moves
========
Mention that cc also hits steel types

Set Details
========
Again like i said earlier, no need for the flame orb part, just say toxic orb is to activate its ability. You didnt even say that toxic orb is used to activate its ability

Usage Tips
========
Change the part about when to use SD, it should be used when the opp does not threaten you, or on a predicted switch
Remove the last line
Mention that it is ok to switch Ursaring out if it has already set up/has lost a lot of health

Team Options
========
Give an example of a stealth rock user, and ursaring hits avalugg with close combat, not facade
Pokemon that appreciate its wallbreaking - mention a set up sweeper as an example
Sorry for changing my mind but its ok to mention fast-ish volturn users. Also mention togetic, who has a slow baton pass

Guts
########
I think protect should be the first slash, as this set is already amazingly strong so doesnt need boosts and finds difficulty setting up, whilst protect allows it scout/dodge fake out and guarantee guts activation

Moves
========
Mention that cc also hits steel types

Usage Tips
========
Do the same thing here with SD as i suggested in the other set
It shouldnt be used late game, it should be played as a mid/early game wallbreaker. ALso that sentance doesnt make sense 'its best to save Ursaring for late-game situations or when faster threats are still in play who can pick off a weakened Ursaring.'
Again mention that switching it is ok even if weakened

Team Options
========
Examples of what hazards kill and mention a rock setter. BTW the copy and pasting is really pissing me off especially when i told you not to it previously
This is even more of a wallbreaker, so mention set up sweepers that enjoy weakened walls
More examples
How much copypasting can you use ffs

nothing more to add onto OO

Checks & Counters
########
**Revenge Killers**: Give more examples of faster Pokemon and choice scarfers

**Priority Attacks**: Mention mightyena in sucker punch (not kecleon, as you are mentioning it later)

**Passive Damage** MEntion that people will try and sub/protect stall it to the point that ursaring is easy to pick off

Once you have done all this i will (regretfully) check again and stamp

Noted and updated. Thanks again Anty.

I think that you need some more mentions in C&C, Avalugg can take at least one CC and KO with Avalanche while Gourgeist-L can take multiple Crunches and leech seed stall it. I'm sure there are a bit more that I'm not thinking of off the top of my head, so go through and see what else can be added cause it seems like a lot more can stop Ursaring.

Offensive Tangela can tank an unboosted Facade from the Guts set, and KO with Leaf Storm after Rocks and Toxic damage. Defensive Tangela can tank anything but a SD boosted Facade from Guts Ursa and wear Ursaring down with Leech Seed and Giga Drain. Defensive Misdreavus can tank a single unboosted Crunch from the Guts set and retaliate with Foul Play. Dusclops can stall it out with RestTalk or Pain Split. Outside of these, most checks tend to be offensive and outspeed Ursaring.

Partners for this set is very similiar to the Quick Feet set. (no cross-set referencing; you don't know if the reader saw the Quick Feet set) Ursaring appreciates entry hazard support from Pokemon such as pokemon like Golem and Barbaracle, as it which helps Ursaring turn 2HKOes into OHKOes and possible 3HKOes into 2HKOes. In this case, (comma) a Jolly nature is preferred, (comma) as it allows Ursaring to outspeed everything up to maximum Speed positive-natured base 105 Pokemon such as like Kadabra. Pokemon with access to Volt Switch, U-turn, or Baton Pass make are solid partners for Ursaring for their ability to bring it in after picking off a weakened opponent foe or grab momentum for Ursaring to active its status Orb. Power-Up Punch can be used over Swords Dance to get an attack off damage the foe (changed because it sounded too similar to the next) and get an Attack boost in the process. **Physically-Defensive (remove dash) Pokemon**: Avalugg can take an unboosted Close Combat and KO Ursaring with Avalanche. Tangela can tank an unboosted Facade and proceed to OHKO Ursaring with Leaf Storm after Stealth Rock and Toxic damage. Bulky Ghost-types like Gourgeist, Eviolite Dusclops, and defensive Misdreavus can live survive a Crunch and proceed to stall Ursaring out.

**Revenge Killers**: Ursaring is pretty slow without Quick Feet, so it's open to being KOed by any Pokemon that's faster than it, such as like Sneasel and Raichu, and in particular, scarfed pokemon like Choice Scarf Pokemon such as Scyther, Rotom-F, and or Haunter. The Quick Feet variant is threatened by everything above base 105 Speed.

**Priority Attacks**: Ursaring is susceptible to being revenge killed KOed by Golem's or and Mightyena's Sucker Punch, Basculin's Aqua Jet, and Kecleon's Fake Out. Even if these attacks don't KO Ursaring they will certainly cut into its longevity.

**Passive Damage**: Ursaring is easily worn down because it's always poisoned or burned. Entry hazards cut into its longevity by adding damage every time Ursaring switches is switched in (passive --> active). Opponents will can also try to stall out Ursaring with Protect or Substitute to the point where Ursaring is in range to be KOed.

Overview

Ursaring is one of the premier wallbreakers in PU. Its base 130 Attack allows it to deal out heavy damage to any opponent foe (opponent=battler, foe=Pokemon) in its path. Ursaring also has access to two great abilites in Guts and Quick Feet, both of which allows it to function even better as a physical attacker. However, (fluff) Ursaring does have its flaws. First off, in order for Ursaring to activate its ability be effective, it must be either burned or poisoned, in order for its ability to activate which will cut into its longevity. Secondly, even with Quick Feet, it is still slow and requires either Sticky Web or paralysis support to outspeed faster pokemon like Pokemon such as Raichu and Sneasel. Nonetheless, Ursaring can function better than has an advantage over other Normal-types such as like Tauros and Bouffalant, (comma) as it doesn't mind being crippled with status and can take advantage of it as well.

Quick Feet
########
name: Quick Feet
move 1: Facade
move 2: Close Combat
move 3: Crunch
move 4: Swords Dance / Protect (spaces)
ability: Quick Feet
item: Toxic Orb
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
nature: Jolly

Moves
========

Facade is Ursaring's main attack as it does a lot of damage to any Pokemon that doesn't resist it. Close Combat hits Rock- and Steel-types that resist Facade such as like Golem and Bastiodon that resist Facade. Crunch hits Ghost-types such as like Haunter, Gourgeist, and Misdreavus, which that are immune to Facade and Close Combat. Swords Dance is used bolsters Ursaring's Attack to enormous levels, (comma) allowing it to sweep more efficiently after it's been poisoned. Protect can be used over Swords Dance to guarantee Ursaring gets poisoned at the expense of the oppenent possibly setting up themselves.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack and Speed EVs and a Jolly Nature allows Ursaring to hit as fast and hard as possible. If Ursaring has a Jolly nature, after Toxic Orb activates, Ursaring can outspeed all pokemon up to positive-natured base 105 base Speed like Pokemon such as Scyther and Kadabra. An Adamant nature can be used on this set, but the extra Speed to go after faster threats outweighs the extra power an Adamant nature would provide.

Usage Tips
========

You don't want Ursaring to switch into any attack because of the nature of its moveset and its poor defensive typing, so it's best to switch Ursaring in when another teammate has fainted or on an obvious status move. Quick Feet Ursaring is better suited for a late-game cleaner role. Use Swords Dance when your opponent foe doesn't threaten you Ursaring or if you predict them switching out. Be cautious when facing Ghost-type Pokemon, as they can switch into Facade and cost Ursaring valuable time. The same can be said about using not very effective moves as well.

Team Options

Ursaring appreciates entry hazard support from pokemon like Pokemon such as Carracosta and Golem in order to net crucial OHKOes (-es is the verb form) and 2HKOes. For example, after a Swords Dance, it Ursaring OHKOes Avalugg and physically defensive Gourgeist after Stealth Rock with Close Combat and Crunch, (comma) respectively. Pokemon who that appreciate Ursaring's wallbreaking capabilities, such as Shell Smash Barbaracle and Calm Mind Serperior, make for great teammates. Examples include Shell Smash Barbaracle, and Calm Mind Serperior. Psychic- and Ghost-type Pokemon like Kadabra, Mr. Mime, and Haunter are make solid teammates for Ursaring, (comma) as they either resist or are immune to Ursaring's Fighting weakness while Ursaring covers their Ghost weakness and threatens Ghost-types them with Crunch. Kadabra and Mr. Mime can use Encore on foes using setup moves and the opponent using a set-up move an allow Ursaring to switch in scot-free. Other Normal-types like Tauros and Purugly also make for good partners, (comma) as they can wear down each one another's (use 'one another' when more than two things are being discussed; in this case there are three) checks and counters. Pokemon that can use Volt Switch, U-turn, or Baton Pass make are great teammates for Ursaring because they can allow Ursaring to enter switch in without taking damage, they also provide Ursaring with a free turn to and freely activate its Orb. Examples include Rotom-F, Raichu, Scyther, Zebstrika, and Togetic. Rapid Spin or Defog support from Pokemon such as like Avalugg and Pelipper helps Ursaring, (comma) as it is susceptible to all entry hazards.

Swords Dance could be used over Protect, but it leaves Ursaring susceptible to attacks and or the opponent can set up themselves.

Maximum Attack and Speed EVs and a Adamant Nature allows Ursaring to hit as fast and hard as possible. A Jolly nature can be used as it allows you Ursaring to outspeed Aurorus and Rampardos while and Speed tie with neutral-natured (dash) maximum Speed base 65 Pokemon like Flareon and Heatmor. The choice of which orb to give to Ursaring is up to you. Toxic Orb is slashed over Flame Orb because three turns of residual poison damage is less than three turns of burn damage; (semicolon) however, (comma) if Toxic Orb is used, it's best not to keep it Ursaring in longer than 3 three turns if you plan to send Ursaring it in later. Ursaring doesn't have to stay out on the field if low on health, (not sure if that's what you meant, sorry! ignore if wrong) as it can still hit opposing Pokemon hard even in a weakened state, so feel free to switch it out.

Usage Tips

You don't want Ursaring to switch into any attack because of the nature of its moveset and its poor defensive typing,; (semicolon) it's best to switch Ursaring in when another teammate has fainted or on an obvious status move. Swords Dance should be used if your opponent the foe can't do much to Ursaring or if it your opponent switches out. As this set forgoes the added Speed from in Quick Feet for more power, it's best to use Ursaring for early- or mid-game early/mid game situations to deal heavy damage to the opponent's team.

Stealth Rock guarantees that Ursaring can It OHKOes Pelipper with Facade after Stealth Rock while also guarenteeing a and 2HKO on physically defensive Gourgeist with Crunch after Stealth Rock. As this set will be hitting harder than the Quick Feet set, (no cross-set referencing) Revenge killers like Scyther, Haunter, and Kadabra enjoy Ursaring's wallbreaking capabilities to weaken opposing Pokemon so they can clean up afterwards. Setup sweepers like Carracosta, Serperior, and Ninetales also appreciate Ursaring's wallbreaking ability. Other Normal-types like Tauros and Purugly also make for good partners, (comma) as they can wear down each one another's checks and counters. Ursaring would also thrive with Trick Room support from pokemon like Pokemon such as Beheeyem or and Duosion because of its slow Speed. Ursaring also covers their Ghost weakness, while Beheeyem and Duosion covers Ursaring's Fighting weakness. An EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpDef with a Brave nature would be more effective under Trick Room conditions. Ursaring also greatly appreciates Sticky Web support from Pokemon such as pokemon like Kricketune because Sticky Web allows Ursaring to outspeed and beat grounded faster grounded threats thanks to Sticky Web slowing them down (I don't think you need to explain this imo?). Examples of this these Pokemon include Raichu, Togetic, Rotom-F, and Scyther.
