A strong ballanced team built around Mega Mawile. I use this team on pokemon Online, it seems to often overwhelm people and is very fun to play. It uses volt-turn, status and stealth rock to whittle down mawile's checks and counters, opening him up for a sweep.

How it was built: (Skip if Not Interested)
When bored one day i went on PO and clicked a random XY OU battle and saw an interesting team built around (Mega)Mawile. The player Using it played very well and swept his opponent 5-0. The team he used peaked my interest, i think it was (Mawile/dragonite/heatran/suicune/Mandibuzz/aegislash)
I watched some more of his battles and he won another 6 games before losing a very close one (ironically) to another mawile team. I always considered Mega Mawile to be a cool poke, but never really got around to making a serious team with it. Now i really wanted to.
1: (Mega) Mawile
The obvious starting point. I saved a few replays of the player mentioned earlier, and found that i liked the combination of Mawile/Dragonite/Heatran he was using, it seems to cover itself very well, synergising offensively and defensively.
2:(Mega) Mawile / Dragonite / Heatran
From this point i wasn't really sure where to go, but saw that rotom-w and offensive heatran might be giving me problems, so i added in a f/w/g combo using amoonguss and my own rotom-w. Amoonguss makes an awesome partner with heatran, and very often puts something to sleep. Rotom-w manages to deal with aegislash, opposing mawiles, and talon flame in addition to the heatran i innitially added it for.
3: (Mega)Mawile / Dragonite / Heatran / Amoonguss / Rotom-w
My last slot was the hardest one to fill, i went through a whole mix of pokemon; scizor, gliscor, gengar, landorus, mandibuzz, hydreigon, tyranitar (lol i dunno) before going with genesect. Once i did i never looked back.

(ROLE): Late game sweeper, wall breaker, and emergency revenge killer.
Vicious is the central focus of the team, his only concerns are wil'o wisp and stab fire or ground moves, as non stab ones are usually survived due to intimidate + his high defenses. Vicious is brought out mid-lategame after trevanant, rotom-w, and talon flame are removed and pokemon like heatran, garchomp, dragonite, landorus t etc have taken prior damage. Mawile finds many opportunities to come in, from a volt switch, u turn, sleeping pokemon etc. The powerful priority move sucker punch in tandem with play rough and fire fang will punch holes in teams if played right, often finishing a game once it is set up. When it comes down to a matter of predicting, i just play it safe and dont overpredict. One way or another mawile is going to do some damage. The nature and max attack are obvious for the most damage. 92 speed is to outspeed things like blissey azumaril and aegislash, as well as opposing mawiles.

(ROLE): Revenge killer, pivot
This is a set i took from the once popular simulation of a drought gen 5 genesun team. It works well as a revenge killer, or for giving momentum and scouting opponent's sets. The moves used are standard coverage of Special-fire/electric/ice with stab physical U turn. Opponents lacking heatran will be whittled down by the combination of this, rotom-w and stealth rocks. Genesect often invites fire attacks, which gives heatran a good opportunity to switch in and setup rocks
(BIGGIE) Dragonite w/ Multiscale @ Choice Band
Adamant / 4 hp / 252 atk / 252 speed
Extreme Speed / Outrage / Fire Punch / Superpower
(ROLE): Lure for heatran, tyranitar, abomasnow and ferrothorn, also a wall breaker and revenge killer
This thing is my lure to common dragonite checks, and can make a great lead, as long as i'm careful of fairy switchins. Heatran, tyranitar, ferrothorn and obamasnow all get decimated by banded super power. Extreme speed from banded dragonite hits hard and gives it some use if it gets it's multi scale broken, outrage will 2 hit ko things like donphan, gliscor or hippowdon trying to check the assumed dragon dance set. Fire punch is just here for coverage so i have a move to hit aegislash and mawiles with. Having two choiced pokemon on my team i thought might be a bit of an issue, but due to the good defensive synergy my 6 pokes carry, i can deal with something trying to setup on me for either of them. Dragonite in particular synergises really well with heatran and mawile as it and they both perfectly cover each other's weaknesses.

(ROLE): Physical wall, and pivot that whittles down opposing threats
This is the standard Gen 6 Physically defensive Rotom-w, which goes very well with heatran and amoonguss. Rotom-w works alongside genesect to pressure opponents and whittle down threats. I Have a little Speed (8) invested to outspeed opposing bulky rotom-w's and get off volt switch before they do keeping my rotom-w healthy and sponging anything the want to do with my amoonguss. This thing counters talonflame, skarmory, heatran, physical aegislash, mawile and checks azumaril and togekiss.
(RED HOT) Heatran w/ Flash Fire @ Leftovers
Calm / 252 HP / 244 Spdef / 12 Speed
Lava Plume / Toxic / Earth Power / Stealth Rock
(Role): Specially defensive wall, stealth rocker and status spreader
Heatran is my main counter to the ubiquitous talon flame, as well as genesect, while checking aegislash and mawile. It also attracts opposing rotom-w's which i toxic and whittle down with stealth rock until Mega Mawile can safely go for a sweep. The Ev's and nature are standard for specially defensive Heatran, absorbing fire attacks and setting up stealth rock. 12 speed is to outspeed opposing specially defensive heatrans and getting off my earth power first. Though to be honest in all my battles, i've probably used it twice for this purpose, so im considering switching earth power for protect. Lava plume is good stab, with a chance to burn even those that resist it, Toxic is for everything else.
(INFECTED) Amoonguss w/ Regenerator @ Black Sludge
Calm / 252 Hp / 168 Spdef / 88 Def / 52 Spa
Spore / Giga Drain / HP Fire / Clear Smog
(ROLE): Mixed wall, toxic spikes absorber, sleep inducer and rotom-w counter
This thing is awesome, probably the best sleep inducer in 6th gen, it finds so many opportunities to switch in, and turn the battle into a 5-6. As previously mentioned, is my counter to rotom-w, as well as gastrodon, keldeo and quagsire. The Nature and ev's are standard gen 5 mixed wall, with enough power to break things like garchomp subs with giga drain, and cripple genesect and scizors with Hp Fire. Clear smog is to remove stat boosts, and hit grass pokemon a little harder than Hp Fire Regenerator allows me to easily heal back to full hp again, and annoy the hell out of my opponents.

How It's Played:
The objective is to get up hazards, status and switch around with rotom-w and genesect and punch a hole in their team with choice banded dragonite. Then when all the counters are gone open the way to end it with mega mawile.
