WARNING: BEEDRILL IN AREA

![]()
This is a Beedrill-Mega based team. With the release of ORAS, Beedrill received a fantastic trait and an amazing boost to both its Atk and Spd; however, it can't sweep directly because of its fragility, so at first it needs to make pressure to the opponent's team and only at a later time it can close the match.

A Volt-Turn is the most suitable type of team to allow Beedrill-M to sweep, and its best partner is certainly Defensive Rotom-W. They have a great offensive and also defensive synergy, and Rotom-W takes care of bird spam and priority users, like Bullet Punch Scizor, Aqua Jet Azumarill and Ice Shard Mamoswine, considering Beedrill-M is litterally distroyed by them. Moreover Rotom-W, with its "slow" Volt Switch, allows Beedrill to switch-in easily.

Stealth Rock are needful in any team, more in a Volt-Turn. Also it's needed someone that hinders Excadrill and other phisical attackers. So the third member of my Volt-Turn is Landorus-T.

At the same time, it's necessary to have a Defogger/Spinner that removes hazards from the field, because of many switch. Latias is the perfect pokemon. Infact, as Landorus-T covers at phisical side, Latias is a great counter of most special threaths, like Char-Y, Keldeo and Rotom-W.

Using a Defogger, Bisharp could be a very dangerous threat. So Keldeo smack down Bisharp even after a Defiant-boost, and also provides heavy damage with its STABS. With Scarf it's a good check of Greninja.

Fairy and Dragon-Spam may be a problem, and boosting pokemon too. Heatran is the perfect answer. It checks Gardevoir-M and Lati@s, and with Magma Storm + Taunt + Toxic traps, toxic and prevents from healing boosting pokemon like Suicune and Clefable.

The New Megas gives many problems because of their Spd. Scarfing Landorus-T it's possible to check and revenge-kill most of them; needing someone that is able to set-up Rocks, Cobalion replaces Keldeo. which has also a great defensive sinergy with Latias. Finally, the team will appreciate an offensive momentum given by using Healing Wish over Roost on Latias.

Beedrill (F) @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Protect
- Drill Run
With the release of ORAS, Beedrill received a fantastic trait and an amazing boost to both its Atk and Spd; now it has one of the strongest unboosted U-Turn in the tier (exceeded only by Band Adamant Scizor), able to hit hard anything not resist Bug, while gives momentum to the team. Poison Jab, like U-Turn, is boosted by both STAB and Adaptibility, hits Fairy and allows Beedrill-M to clean up weakened teams in late game. Drill Run hits Heatran and Magnezone 4x super effectively, which resist both STAB moves. Protect is needed to megaevolve in whatever situation, also to scout for priority moves, like Fake Out Lopunny-M and Bullet Punch Metagross-M.
A Jolly Nature is required to outspeed Lopunny-M, Manectric-M and Altaria-M after a DDance, Scarfed Pokemon with 80 Base Speed like Gardevoir and Medicham and also to speed tie with Sceptile-M.
If you prefer to run Knock Off over Drill Run, you should replace Protect with Earth Power on Heatran, and invest in Spd to outspeed opposite Heatrans.

Rotom (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Beedrill-M's best partner is certainly Defensive Rotom-W. Hydro Pump hits bulky grounds like Landorus-T and Hippowdon, while W-o-W is very useful against Scizor and other physical attackers. Pain Slit provides recovery.
252 HP EVs lets it reach a Leftovers number, 44 Spe Evs are used to outspeed Jolly Azumarill. The rest is put in Def to more physical bulk.

Landorus (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
The New Megas gives many problems because of their Spd. Scarf Landorus-T checks and revenge-kills most of them; thanks to Intimidate it can switch-in and OHKO Terrakion, Excadrill, Metagross-M and Char-X, hits hard Garchomp, Dragonite, Gallade-M and Lopunny-M. STAB Earthquake and Stone Edge provides a great combo, while U-Turn is useful to scout and give momentum to the team. Knock Off OHKOes Gengar, the most threatening Pokemon ever.
Jolly Nature and standard Evs spread for a Choice Scarf set.

Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 76 HP / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Healing Wish
In a Volt-Turn team is required somebody removes hazards from the field, because of many switch; Latias is the perfect pokemon. With a mix of bulky/offensiveness, it's a great counter of most special threaths in the tier, like Char-Y, Keldeo and Rotom-W. STABs Draco Meteor and Psyshock do heavy damage to anything, while Healing Wish gives an offensive and precious momentum to the team.
Timid Nature and 252 Spe Evs allows Latias to speed tie with Lati@s, Gengar and Gallade-M, outspeeding anything below; 76 HP Evs maximizes Leftovers recovery and the rest is put in SpA.
If you prefer to run Roost over Healing Wish, you should replace Leftovers with Life Orb, and use the Evs spread 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe.

Cobalion @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Atk / 116 Def / 4 SpD / 136 Spe
Impish Nature
- Close Combat
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- Volt Switch
Every team should have a counter of Bisharp, and Cobalion provides that. It can switch into Dark Moves, also taking a boost with Justified when it by them. Unlike Keldeo, Cobalion is able to set-up Rocks, and has a great sinergy with Latias, hitting Fairy and Dark Types who resist to Latias' Draco Meteor and Psyshock. STABs Close Combact and Iron Head provides a decent coverage, while Volt Switch is used to create momentum.
248 HP Evs are used to minimize Stealth Rock damage; an Impish Nature with 116 Def Evs is recommended to take more physical hits possible. The Speed investiment allows Cobalion to outspeed Mamoswine and others 80 Based Speed Pokemons. 4 Atk Evs are to 3HKO Bold Clefable 91.7% of the time, while 4 SpD Evs are to avoid the 2HKO from 4 SpA Flamethrower Clefable.

Heatran (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
- Magma Storm
- Protect
- Toxic
- Taunt
Fairy and Dragon-Spam may be a problem. Heatran is the perfect answer. It checks Gardevoir-M and Lati@s, and it's very useful against Stall Teams. Magma Storm traps the target, Protect allows Heatran to scout the opponents move/recovers HP with Leftovers, and works well with Toxic/Magma Storm Damage. Taunt is the best choice against CroCune, Venusaur and Clefable, preventing them from healing or setting up.
248 HP EVs are used to minimize entry hazard damage, while 68 Speed EVs are used to hit 207 Speed, which lets Heatran outspeed and Taunt CroCune. The rest is put in Special Defense for additional special bulk.
If you prefer to run Earth Power over Protect, you should invest in Spd to outspeed opposite Heatrans, and replace Drill Run with Knock Off on Beedrill-M.
Past members:

Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Scald
Bisharp gives me trouble, so I put Keldeo in my team, which is also a good revenge killer.
With Choice Scarf it outspeeds the new megas and check Greninja, trying to spam burn with Scald in early game, and being a cleaner with stabs Hydro Pump/Secret Sword. Icy Wind hits Dragons, and allows Beedrill, if it hasn't got the possibility to do it (because of its speed), to megaevolve.
Standard evs spread for a Choice Scarf user; 4 evs in Def to handle Bisharp better.

I don't speak English very well, so be patient with me please :v
