which version has the better exclusive pokemon?

I plan on getting the new pokemon game tonight, but I am not sure whether I want to get pearl or diamond. I won't really get the opportunity to trade with other people, so I want to make sure that I get the version with the better pokemon. So yeah, which version has the better exclusive pokemon?

If you don't have access to wifi then you're probably better off with Pearl. Pearl's worthwile pokemon exclusives are Palkia, Salamence, Mismagius, Houndoom and Slowbro, while Diamond only has Dialga, Tyranitar and Scizor.
