Move 4: Rest

Garchomp
Jolly Nature, Lum Berry, Rough Skin
EV Spread: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Hp

Move 4: Protect

Machamp
Adamant Nature, Assault Vest, No Guard
EV Spread: 252 Hp, 252 Atk, 4 Speed
Move 1: Dynamic Punch
Move 2: Ice Punch
Move 3: Bullet Punch
Move 4: Knock Off

Sylveon
Calm Nature, Leftovers, Pixilate
EV Spread: 252 Hp, 252 Sp.Def, 4 Def
Move 1: Hyper Voice
Move 2: Wish
Move 3: Protect
Move 4: Heal Bell

Alakazam
Timid Nature, Focus Sash, Magic Guard
EV Spread: 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 4 Hp
Move 1: Psyshock
Move 2: Shadow Ball
Move 3: Focus Blast
Move 4: Hidden Power (Ice)

Sylveon: I use this gurl to support the team and heal my Pokemons status conditions, and get some health with Wish. Sylveon can also deal a good amount of damage with Hyper Voice and possibly threaten some dragons, dark, and fighting types out there.

Rotom-W: Rotom is a great physical wall and can support the team by crippling physical attackers with Will-O-Wisp. When running low on health, Rotom can just recover with Rest + Chesto Berry. Hydro Pump is a very strong move and can deal a really great amount of damage. Volt Switch is a really great move dealing some damage and switch out.

Garchomp: Garchomp is on my team to threaten Charizard-Y with Rock Slide, since my team doesn't really appreciate him. Dragon Claw is Garchomp's primarily STAB Move. Earthquake is a really strong move and with Rotom-W or Sylveon's side, Garchomp does not have to worry about hurting them. Protect is a great move to see what my opponent will do, or defend him from ice attacks and dragon moves.

Scizor: Mega Scizor is a really strong Pokemon and bulky at the same time. With its Technician + STAB Bullet Punch, Scizor does can OHKO weaken Pokemon and threaten fairies. Bug Bite becomes a really powerful STAB move thanks to Technician and can eat the berries of other Pokemons. Roost is there to heal off some health back. Swords Dance boosts Scizor's attack and can become really useful at times.

Alakazam: Alakazam is a great late-game sweeper OHKO'ing damaged Pokemon and preventing getting 2HKO by other pokemons thanks to its Focus Sash. I use him to deal with Mega Venusaur and Charizard-Y. Psychock is a great move getting thru special walls, Mega Venusuar, and Charizard-Y. Shadow Ball is to obviously get thru other Psychic and Ghost types. Focus Blast is to OHKO Tyranitar and deal with other threats. Hidden Power Ice is a good move to deal with dragons, and Gliscor. (Not so sure about keeping this move :|)

Machamp: Machamp is a powerful and bulky pokemon, it confuses other Pokemon with its STAB Mighty No Guard Dynamic Punch and deal a great amount of damage. Ice Punch is to (again XD) deal with dragon types and ground types since I see them most of the times. Knock Off puts a hole on Psychic Types and knocks off any Pokemon's item (except mega stones lol) Bullet Punch is a great priority move to finish off any weakened Pokemon.

So there you go, that's my team cx any suggestions like changing a move is appreciated.

first off, since you're new, welcome to Doubles :] I like the team and you have some solid Pokemon, however there are a couple changes I would suggest you make. The first is changing your sylveon set. Using Wish is generally regarded as a bad idea in doubles because your opponent can easily predict where you're going to pass the wish, and will be able to double target your weakened pokemon on the switch, preventing it from healing. The most viable set for sylveon to run at the moment is a choice specs set to deal absolutely massive damage. 2HKOing almost the entire metagame.
sylveon.gif

Sylveon (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SAtk / 16 Spd
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 SDef
- Hyper Voice
- Shadow Ball
- Hyper Beam
- Hidden Power [Ground]

The EV spread gives you maximum special attack with enough speed investment to outspeed 0 speed Tyranitar. Hypervoice is the attack you will spamming 99% of the time, Shadow Ball gives you excellent neutral coverage and allows you to hit Aegislash. Hyper Beam is for when something absolutely 100% positive NEEDS TO DIE, and HP Ground 2HKOs Heatran :]

The second change I would invite you to make is to swap out Alakazam for Deoxys Attack. Since you're new to doubles, you may not have known that some pokemon that are Uber in singles are allows in Smogon Doubles OU and Deoxys A is one of them! Deoxys A hits harder than Alakazam, gets the coverage you're looking for, and is a bit faster, making it a much more viable choice. Here's the set that I run!
deoxys-attack.gif

Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Rash Nature
- Psycho Boost
- Superpower
- ExtremeSpeed
- Protect

Psycho Boost from a Modest Deoxys-A is terrifying, and Deo A can use Superpower to hit troublesome Dark and Steel types. ExtremeSpeed is my choice for the third moveslot, letting Deo get beat priority +1 attacks like Sucker Punch and Aqua Jet. I have seen Ice Beam and Hidden Power fire in that slot before so give them all a try if you want! Focus Sash is the item though because Deo-A is very frail, so make sure you play it carefully!
Oh my, I will give this a try cx

That set isn't actually the best when it pertains to tanking hits. If you want a spread that can take physical hits better, particularly Scizors Bullet Punch, a spread of 140 HP / 104 Def absorbs the hit a lot better.

For instance:

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 240 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 338-402 (86.4 - 102.8%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
compared to

252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 140 HP / 104 Def Sylveon: 294-348 (80.3 - 95%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

You sacrifice a bit on the special side, but it comes with a much needed ability to take on physical attacks. Though the main special threats again Sylveon are Aegislash and Heatran, and you have a good chance against them, but you're lacking in Scizor checks.

Also I recommend switching out Machamp for a bulkier, slower but more efficient alternative, Conkeldurr. It increases your chances against Trick Room, as Conk can underspeed and ultimately beat several threatening Trick Room abusers, doesn't worry about burns as it can abuse Guts, and is bulkier than Machamp. A spread of 252 HP / 100 Atk / 156 SDef for instance can take a Specs 252 SAtk Hyper Voice from Sylveon and actually beats it in Trick Room, if you opt to use Poison Jab.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Pixilate Sylveon Hyper Voice vs. 252 HP / 156 SpD Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 320-380 (77.2 - 91.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
compared to

100+ Atk Conkeldurr Poison Jab vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Sylveon: 260-306 (65.9 - 77.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO.

Hmm, for Sylveon's moveset should I go for Hyper Voice, Psyshock/Shadow Ball, Calm Mind, Protect?
And alright, Conkeldurr seems like a really great Pokemon cx

Hey, Profchaos243, and welcome to Smogon! Your team looks fairly solid on paper, as you have several significant threats in the Doubles metagame. But as I look at your team in depth, it seems you constructed it with the mindset of a Singles Battle as opposed to a Doubles Battle. Not only that, your team looks a little too defensive in a metagame that is very offensive-oriented, as seen by the minimal Attack EVs invested in Scizor and the lack of Special Attack EVs invested in both Sylveon and Rotom-Wash. This team has potential to be really good, however, as multiple members of your team possess great synergy between each other.

To start off, Scizor should be more offensive due to the fact you're running a Swords Dance set on him. I recommend giving him an EV spread of 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spd; the 92 Speed EVs enable Scizor to outspeed minimal speed Cresselia and Rotom-W, giving him the chance to attack first with STAB Bug Bite and steal their precious Sitrus Berry. The maximum Attack investment amplifies the amount of damage Scizor can inflict, and the remaining EVs are put into HP to give him some nice added bulk. Secondly, Scizor should have Protect instead of Roost to shield him from incoming super-effective attacks such as Heat Wave, while allowing your partner (notably Garchomp) to take out that specific threat.

I'll be honest; ChestoRest Rotom-Wash isn't too high in usage in the Doubles metagame, but he can very effective if utilized correctly. With that being said, you should change Rotom-Wash's EV spread to 252 HP / 136 SAtk / 120 SDef with a Calm nature to allow him to survive a SolarBeam from Modest Mega-Charizard-Y and the remaining 136 Special Attack EVs give Rotom-W some extra offensive power. Seeing as you're mainly utilizing Rotom-Wash as a support Pokémon, I recommend giving him Electroweb over Volt Switch for speed control to allow your partner (great pair with Garchomp) to outspeed the opponent and deal some significant damage.

I notice you lack protection against Heat Wave, which would OHKO your Scizor, and many other spread moves such as Earthquake and Rock Slide (common with Landorus-T and can flinch you). Therefore, Machamp should have Wide Guard over Knock Off to shield him and his partner against spread moves, notably Heat Wave against Scizor. Knock Off isn't really necessary on Machamp, and the benefits Wide Guard provides for your team are generally better than what Knock Off provides; Wide Guard is much more consistent for your team as opposed to Knock Off on Machamp. Since the Assault Vest isn't compatible with Wide Guard, a Sitrus Berry is great for instant HP recovery when you're 50% health or below, increasing Machamp's survivability.

Finally, I highly suggest utilizing KyleCole's Choice Specs Sylveon set to provide you with extra offensive firepower, but with an EV spread of 180 SAtk / 212 HP / 116 Def. The 212 HP EVs plus the 116 Defense EVs invested enable Sylveon to survive a Return from Adamant Max Attack Mega-Kangaskhan, while also providing her with added defensive bulk; the remaining EVs are put into Special Attack to maximize Sylveon's offensive firepower. I've used that EV spread with my own Sylveon in a number of matches and it has saved me in the crucial moments of a battle.

Anyway, hope I helped! Good luck with this team. :D

Hmm, now that I think about it, I think Doubles seems to be more offensive than defensive and more fast paced.
Anyways, thank you!, I will definitely try them out and you were a big help.
