Birkal said I could post this XY BSR Calculator (Download) XY Movepool Builder (Download) So I spent my spare time in the last few days fiddling about with the above. Now, let me make it perfectly clear that the above aren't even close to finished, largely due to the uncertainty over base stats and what not. In any case, here's what's been changed: Base Stat Ratings Calculator Added the new Pokemon base stats, added Mega Evolution base stats, updated stats for previous Pokemon known to have had revisions (these were taken from Serebii, given that it is the most complete resource, if not necessarily the most reliable; the dozen or so Pokemon that I cross-referenced with Smogon had identical stats, but I'm certain there will be exceptions; if you notice an error in the spreadsheet then do point it out). As far as I'm aware, the calculation of stats from base stats hasn't changed, given the more or less identical stat ranges for existing Pokemon, so I'm assuming that the BSR formula does not need updating barring the traditional weighting for average and standard deviation (which has been done) - if this is found not to be true then this will need altering. We are assuming here that all 776 individual Pokemon and their functional formes are all readily available, which will not be true until whenever that cloud storage system thing comes out - since I doubt that a Gen 6 CAP will be started by then I haven't bothered to remove the Pokemon that are currently unavailable. I don't think this is unreasonable, but do say something if you think otherwise. On another note, given that we haven't got all Pokemon yet available, doubtless there will be some BST changes we don't know about yet, so this will need to be updated once this information becomes available. Clearly. Also colours were changed. I think red suits "bad" better than "amazing". But do say if you find it too garish, or some other similarly inane critique. BSR of OU Pokemon will be filled in once we actually have an OU. We still need stats for Rebble, Bolderdash, Privatyke, Nohface, Monohm, Duohm, Colosshale, Protowatt and Voodoll (and yes this is a very trivial thing to be concerned about and no I don't know why it's annoying me so much either). Movepool Builder For the 99% of you who don't know what this is, this was supposed to be a helpful tool to let people keep track of their VGMs and such without having to repeatedly check with the lists or do re-counts. It's essentially just a hand-holding tool if you can't be bothered to use Notepad. Or to type out all the TM moves yourself. Since we don't have 6th Gen VGM lists, there's not an awful lot that can be done here. TMs and Move Tutors have been updated, and all the 6th Gen moves have been added to the registry. The Type-Move and Move-Move charts have stayed as-is for now since I'm not certain the data required to calculate the new ones actually exists yet. In fact I'm almost positive that it doesn't. But anyway. -------------- So. The point of this thread is mainly to avoid any duplicated effort, in case anybody else wanted to update this as well - at the very least, you can use the above as a starting point for any further improvements you wish to make. Again, any comments you wish to make are appreciated. And, uh... nice to be back, I suppose. Sorry to those of you who expected a novel. Maybe next time.
