Introduction
So here I was just chilling at 2 am in the morning, when I thought to myself 'why don't I try to make an actual GOOD PU team?' and thus this team was bored. I started laddering with it at first a joke on the alt 'fuck galbia' because lets be real, who actually likes galbia? LOL jokes. This was't meant to be a serious team but I started to realize it done a pretty good job of covering threats in the tier and having a good synergy. I began to ladder more and ended up making it to #12 in one night :]!

Hi guys; this is my first ever RMT and I wanted to start it with a tier that I find most enjoyable in this current moment of team and hands down that would have to be PU ^_^!
sneasel.gif

Sneasel @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
- Swords Dance
- Low Kick
Do I really need to explain why Sneasel is on the team? ...Yes? Ugh, okay -_-! It's a monster...

Jokes aside, Sneasel has helped in multiple situations due to Knock Off and priority Ice Shard. When Sneasel comes in for the revenge kill; either something is getting OHKOed, set up against on the switch or hit hard with Knock Off. Sneasel is just too good and can be a real late-game cleaner once the battle is coming to an end. Life Orb Ice Shard truly hits hard which can cause problems for the opponents; once I've gotten up the Swords Dance however, it only gets worse from there.

tangela.gif

Tangela @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Honestly, this set just puts a smile on my face. Previously I was using the Defensive set until a tournament battle in the PU room against galbia in which I was shown Tangela's true power. It can take hits from common threats such as Carracosta and Barbaracle still. The different is however Giga Drain does much more damage in which Tangela gets more recovery. Sleep Powder allows Pokemon switch think they can switch in to be put to sleep. Hidden Power Ice is just way too useful; you'll be surprised at the amount of people thinking they can keep non specially defensive Altaria in against Tangela.

piloswine.gif

Piloswine @ Eviolite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Spear

Ah Piloswine. My sexy lead you are. Piloswine allows me to get up Stealth Rock while also threatening out other leads which I've been seeing such as Bastiodon, Gigalith, Leavanny and even a Dedenne n_n. Earthquake is a hard hitting STAB which hurts Bastiodon and Gigalith hard. Icicle Spear allows Piloswine to get pass Substitute which is really appreciated and Ice Shard is priority which hits frail Pokemon stupidly hard due to the nature and EVs in Attack invested.

ninetales.gif

Ninetales @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Pain Split
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Substitute

What the fuck is this set? Alright, hear me out. I did try the normal Life Orb set at first and being honest, it just wasn't working out. I probably didn't play Ninetales all too well and it provided no useful role towards the team besides death fodder. Specially defensive Ninetales on the other hand is a whole different story. Opponent don't expect it; they don't see the Will-O-Wisp in coming on their Physical attackers. They don't seen Pain Split and when they think they're forced to switch out that's an easy free Substitute. Ninetales takes those special attacks nicely.
ursaring.gif

Ursaring @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Quick Feet
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Facade
- Swords Dance
- Crunch
Ursaring :] Always doing work. I love it when Pokemon think they can get a Toxic on against Pelipper or Tangela to hopefully stall them out. Nope; not with Ursaring on the team. It comes in as a great wallbreaker once getting the Quick Feet boost and a Swords Dance I'm sorry to say this but I'm afraid something on the team is going to be dying. With Close Combat hitting those Steel-types and Crunch hitting Ghost, nothing stands in Ursaring way from getting a couple hard hit of before eventually dying to Toxic damage.

pelipper.gif

Pelipper @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Toxic
- Scald
...Take a moment to bow to this almighty Pokemon.
Without Pelipper on the team it would struggle. This bulky bird is just way too awesome in sponging physical hits combined with the support from Will-O-Wisp Ninetales. If you've played PU; you would notice there are a lot more physical threats than special and that's what Pelipper is here for. Defog to support the team and remove those hazards while using Roost to keep it at a good amount of health. Toxic is for those problematic switch such as Gourgeist and Poliwrath and Scald is a reliable Water-type STAB in hope of a burn too. I don't exaggerate when I say this team relies on Pelipper ALOT.

So that's the team guys; please leave suggestions below on how it can be improved! I want to try them out to make this team even better but Pokemon that I'm currently struggling with are Simipour and SubPunch Poliwrath. If I see Simipour on the opposing team I straight away think about how I have to work around beating it; which Pokemon is most likely going to get sacked and stuff like that. I have to keep making switches and hopefully get a Toxic on it as it switches in or wear it down with Stealth Rock. SubPunch Poliwrath can avoid taking a Toxic from Pelipper with Substitute and then completely walls the whole set which forces me to switch into Tangela; which can take Focus Punch or Ice Punch well and recover health from Giga Drain. I basically need to play around it since it completely walls Pelipper.

Nice team! From looking at your team, it is intended to be a balance squad, considering the Pelipper and Tangela + Piloswine, as well as the interesting Ninetales set. What I can see is that Ursaring is /kinda/ out of place since it doesn't really fit on balance, and it seems as if you're using it as a status absorber instead of a wallbreaker, but if you want a status absorber that's a better fit synergistically I'd probably run Throh since it hits really hard when burned / toxiced but also offers a better check to opposing Sneasel and Throh + Tangela is a really nice core I've run on teams before.

I also don't think Sneasel is completely necessary since it's kinda frail for this kinda team and you mentioned issues with Poliwrath and Simipour which Sneasel isn't too helpful for (in the former's case at least). When looking at this team some speed would be nice, as would a finisher Pokemon, and I personally think Scarf Rotom-F would be really nice to cover these Pokemon while providing some speed and not being too frail for balance. It builds on already existing solid cores such as Throh + Tangela and Pelipper + Piloswine, which both appreciate a scarfer. Another option for the overall team is something like Scarf Tauros over Ursaring and then a defensive Electric-type over Sneasel, but the issue is PU has like no defensive Electric-types so this is basically rambling.

Nice team ^_^, I really like it.

I wasted half an hour of my life on this team just to lose to a scald burn... I crie erryteim (Megazard Z is my alt). Anyhow, I would try to give Pelipper a bit of special attack (about 64 EVs) so you don't lose to Sub SD bouffalant once Pilo is weak (unless you fodder, break the sub with sneasel, and revenge with Ursaring I guess). Tangela could also use a bit of Spdef so that if you lose Piloswine because it has no recovery, Specs Zebstrika can't get the OHKO after rocks with overheat, although I'm not sure whether it's even a thing anymore. Tbh these are pretty small nitpicks, the team is looking pretty good right now.

I don't play pu but the spread of 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA will serve you better :] Also you can Air slash > Toxic so you can beat Poliwrath.

Hey Darnell cool team you have here.

I'm going to agree with TRC here with the fact that you dont need both Ursaring and Sneasel. I would pick one or the other as this team is more of a balance team and having two wincons seems unnecessary, while not having a scarfer could be a problem. For that reason I'm going to suggest either Choice Scarf Rotom-F > Sneasel or Choice Scarf Tauros > Ursaring. This would take the pressure off of having to revenge kill something that outspeeds your whole team while providing either momentum with Rotom or power with Tauros. Make sure to only switch out one as getting rid of both wincons for two scarfers would be silly lol.

Rotom-Frost @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Trick

Or

Tauros (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate / Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return / Rock Climb
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Rock Slide
- Wild Charge

I put Intimidate as the first option when making a set because it allows you to check physical attackers a bit better, that being said Sheer Force is also a great option. You can play around with the coverage and the slashes after the first move are for Sheer Force sets. I always seem to be running something different on the 4th slot so choose w/e coverage move you want to hit a specific target.
