Introduction:
Hello, and welcome to my second RMT, as well as my first RMT in over 5 months. I've made a ton of PU teams since then, but this is the first one I've made in a while that I would consider good enough to post. This is a team built around Swords Dance Sneasel, a threat which has been a defining Pokemon of the tier since its inception, but one that's days are numbered. Whether it be via usage in NU or a possible upcoming suspect test, Sneasel will leave PU one way or another sometime in the next two months, so I decided to build around its less popular Swords Dance set, which is a set I somehow hadn't used before. Also, the team is called Untitled 22 because this is what it was in my teambuilder and I couldn't think of a better name. (sadly "ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ" isn't a suitable name :[ ) Anyway, onto the team.

I started off with Eviolite SD Sneasel, as I wanted to use it before Sneasel left PU, as I always preferred to use Life Orb.

Eviolite Sneasel really needs SR off the field for it to actually take hits when it needs to, so I ran Armaldo as it is the most reliable spinner in the tier. It can also lure in Poliwrath, the biggest counter to Sneasel, and wear it down with Toxic so that Sneasel has a better chance of sweeping.

Next, I added Jumpluff, as it can switch into Throh and Poliwrath for Sneasel, as well as being an overall fantastic mon in PU right now.

At this point, I needed both SR and a Sneasel switch-in, so defensive Carracosta was naturally a good choice. It also is easily able to Toxic Poliwrath as it switches in, like Armaldo.

Next, I added Specs Beheeyem, as it is a good check to special attackers and an incredibly strong wallbreaker in general.

I added Scarf Haunter, as at this point I lacked a revenge killer, and Haunter fit on my team better than all other Scarfers.

After some testing, I was really weak to Electric-types and Jumpluff, so I removed Beheeyem, which was the least important member of my team, and added the one good Jumpluff switch-in in the tier in Zebstrika, which i also an Electric resist. Because this brought a lot more Speed to my team in exchange for wallbreaking capabilities, I changed Haunter from Scarf to Life Orb.

Sneasel @
eviolite.png

Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk | 4 Def | 252 Spe
Swords Dance | Knock Off | Low Kick | Ice Shard

Eviolite Sneasel is really neat in PU. It isn't bulky, but it has enough bulk to switch into things like Mightyena's Crunch, and it can set up on weaker attackers like Tangela as well. It's not as strong as standard Sneasel, but if I wear down the opposing team a decent amount it generally isn't too much of a hinderance. This team relies on wearing down Sneasel's counters, so it's naturally the centerpiece of the team.

jumpluff.gif

Jumpluff
Ability: Infiltrator
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk | 4 SpD | 252 Spe
Swords Dance | Acrobatics | Seed Bomb | Sleep Powder

Jumpluff went from being never used to an underrated threat to being absolutely everywhere in the span of a couple of months. It's really hard to not be weak to be Jumpluff in this metagame without running Zebstrika, as everything slower just gets slept, and everything faster can't switch in. It's also one of the best checks to Poliwrath and Throh, which are the two Pokemon currently in S-rank. Not much else to say here, Jumpluff is just a really good mon in PU.

Haunter @
lifeorb.png

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs: 252 SpA | 4 SpD | 252 Spe
Shadow Ball | Sludge Bomb | Hidden Power Fighting | Taunt

Despite being one of the least "neccessary" mons on my team, Haunter usually always puts in work in every game. LO Haunter hits ridiculously hard, and also has utility with Taunt, as well as other options like Destiny Bond and Will-O-Wisp, which would also be useful. I actually used to run Destiny Bond on this Haunter, but I decided to use Taunt instead in order to take a bit of pressure off of Armaldo to spin in nearly every game.

armaldo.gif

Armaldo @
leftovers.png

Ability: Swift Swim
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -Atk)
EV: 252 Atk | 4 Def | 252 Spe
Rapid Spin | Stone Edge | Knock Off | Toxic

Armaldo is by far the most reliable spinner in the tier, as it has decent Speed, the ability to beat spinblockers with Knock Off, and decent offensive presence. Like I've mentioned several times now, it can lure in Poliwrath and wear it down with Toxic for Sneasel later. It can usually get a spin off in most games, and doesn't usually do all that much more than that, but is decently reliable at its job.

carracosta.gif

Carracosta @
leftovers.png

Ability: Solid Rock
Nature: Relaxed (+Def, -Spe)
EVs: 252 HP | 4 Atk | 252 Def
Stealth Rock | Scald | Stone Edge | Toxic

As one of the only viable Sneasel switch-ins, defensive Carracosta is a great Pokemon in the PU metagame. It's ridiculously bulky, and is my main check to a lot of physical attackers. There's alot of variability on what you can run on this, so if you use this team feel free to experiement with options like Knock Off or Aqua Jet. It's a really consistent SR setter too, and just a great mon in general.

zebstrika.gif

Zebstrika @
lifeorb.png

Ability: Sap Sipper
Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk)
EVs: 252 SpA | 4 SpD | 252 Spe
Volt Switch | Thunderbolt | Overheat | Hidden Power Water

Zebstrika has been gaining a lot of popularity lately, mainly because it's a great switch-in to Jumpluff and it outspeeds Sneasel, two things Raichu can't do. It's also really hard to switch into for all teams lacking Lickilicky (which is most of them) because of its great power and coverage. The main reason I'm using it on this team though is because it's so fast, and this team relies on outspeeding threats like Raichu, Kadabra, and Ninetales to have any hope of beating them.

The team looks solid and has definitely beaten me a few times :> But got rekt by my 4 mon team!!

I would change HP water on Zeb to HP grass though for those random viable whiscash's. What does it hit more than grass after camerupt is gone?

Looks good other than that :>

Also change my shoutout nerd.

i c you took my advice to heart and got yourself an electric resist nichze,,, except you put sap sipper on it so you still give fridges a lot of opportunities to come in and volt switch. Sap Sipper is nice for those annoying grass types but you should really consider Lightningrod.

One issue that stands out immediately though is that you give RD Poliwrath a lot of free room to set up and do major damage to your team(sets up on carra maldo and schnitzel). I know that before Zeb you had a Sash Kadabra as check, but i think an electric type def fits here better. One way to fix that would be to change Zebs item to Scarf and make it Modest nature, so you at least have a way of checking it.

The imo less favorite option would be to get a Roselia. It has p good synergy with the rest of your team(Haunter blocking spins, defensive hazard stack core with Carracosta). Theres the issue however that you would have to get rid of Pluff or have two grass types.

But y p nice team we should battle again sometime if you made some other good ones fren :]
