Choiced items are awesome. Even cooler than Mega stones, in my opinion. An automatic boost to any offensive stat of your choice for the entirety of a match- what's not to like? In this otherwise standard XY OU Tournament, you'll be showing off your skill with these items.


Specific Rules

Standard XY OU Tournament, with just a few twists:
ALL items except Choice Band, Choice Scarf, and Choice Specs are BANNED.
Each Pokemon MUST be equipped with one of the three unbanned items.


Single Elimination.
All rounds except finals are best of one; finals will be best out of three.
All matches are to be played on Pokemon Showdown!

Coinflips will be made to determine the winners if the players do not play before the deadline, unless one player is obviously unresponsive.

Deoxys-Speed and Deoxys-Defense will remain legal throughout the rest of the tournament.

Everyone I faced used a Volt-Turn offensive team in this tournament. I took a more defensive approach to it and just stalled them out. The only time I used a different team was against SoulWind because I noticed he watched all my matches. And good thing I did cuz he brought a Magnezone. :]
