not to be pretentious but yall should really read this… C.H.A.T. (Come Here for All Talk)

I love it when real kids are employed as voice actors

Jazmine from The Boondocks, the little ginger guy from Howl's Moving Castle and child Nico Robin are perfect examples. The voice work for these characters is so full of soul and seem so authentic

I get it's usually not viable to do that and there are tons of wonderful performances by adults for child characters, but it's so great when it's an actual kid speaking

My Africa trip is going really well I gotta say. I think it's a bit too big though, I still have like 4 days left and I already feel like I got my fill of adventure. And well it is a pretty expensive affair, I saved up almost 10 years and I don't think I'll be able to go on trips outside of what the train infrastructure allows me for a loooong while

I have to say, it is weirdly enough a lot like the balkans. The towns and the shops look extremely balkan and you even have the massive German influence in Namibia, as you have it in some corners of ex-Yugoslavian states. The Braai is just like grill and there's even pastry filled with meat that tastes exactly like Burek

And all the people in my travel group are senior citizens. I am like their mobile tech support. Whenever their camera settings are acting up or they struggle getting into the WiFi, I am their guy. They're good people though, two of them invited me for some cake and tea today

I always find myself confused by why Nintendo still makes Mario sports games. From everything I've seen and heard they're just treated as filler budget titles nowadays with meagre amounts of stuff to do that doesn't match up to their Gamecube/Wii-era predecessors, even after free updates. Do they really need this brand of Capital C Content to juice up their earnings reports that badly? The updates are free, so it's not like it's some greedy DLC scam either. Surely it would be considerably less effort and make the company look better if instead of gutting Mario Strikers they just dumped Charged HD with a few extra bits and bobs and online play and called it a day, no? Or is there something I'm missing?

I bet that some higher-up just really likes them, and they sell just enough units to justify continued installments.

Nah but I actually have a mortal grudge against the M&S Olympics series. I want a proper crossover adventure between the two series, not Wii-era sports shit.

>We will NEVER have a game where Super Sonic and Golden Tanooki Mario fight Mecha Bowser piloted by Eggman in the upper atmosphere

Honestly? Kinda wish instead of Brothership they made a Mario & Sonic: Dimensionly Duo

You ever wonder if Pokémon Showdown is going to be DMCAD someday?

On one hand, it's pretty farfetched to think about, considering it's been up since BW2, and there's thousands of videos of it on YouTube. It isn't obscure. Yet nintendo nor tpc has taken any action.
But on the other, the nintendo ninjas strike like thieves in the night so I'm not that sure.
What I'm saying is that in terms of Nintendo axing Showdown isn't likely, but I wouldn't put it past them. And I shudder what the competitive fandom would have to do to raise their competitive teams using the hellspawn that is cartridge gameplay.
Do you guys agree?
