NOC Working Title Mafia (Game Thread) [Mafia Wins]

GOAT, I knew you'd come through for me.

Do you all really think that there were NO scum on the Jalmont wagon? I think there must've been at least one. M2H and Lechen are above suspicion, myself and Catfries have both benefited from a Lechen track that turned up negative. So I'd say it's most likely that one of des and Ecat are scum. I prefer voting on them today. I also am open to a Pulsar vote, as I said yesterday she was a person I distrust.

It's so weird that the two mislynches have essentially disjoint support groups, with only myself/catfries voting for both. This points away from Joey in my view, since he was the runner up both days and different people defended him on each day. I generally oppose a Joey vote, but he's not on the bottom of my list. If we did flip Joey and he flipped mafia, I'd expect us to be in a VERY good position to solve the rest of the mafia members (but this still leaves that cursed wolf unaccounted for...)

I don't really understand the lack of pressure on ecat and a few others. Seems like myself/catfries are more popular to vote than the likes of saber/ecat/flandrs in spite of the fact we have mechanical info pointing AWAY from us. That's weird.

vote electricitycat

In a few hours, if des still has traction, I will turn this into a des vote. But for now I do think we should take a serious look at ecat as a lynch target.
This is the kind of content I've been waiting to see from Redless all game. I think des is more votable than Ecat though.

joey Why do u think pulsar or redless is a good vote today?
Redless has been my strongest scumread for most of the game past day 1. They got sussed on their entry to day 1 (which I don't particularly agree with) but then followed it up by never really defending themself or addressing it. d2 they jumped on the "don't vote catfries" train WAY after it had left the station, which read to me like an attempt to look like a contributor but provide nothing of value. The rest of their posts have been mostly surface-level. Then #1527 is like, an extremely suspicious where they stick on a vote they didn't even want for basically no reason. The post they just wrote is probably their best of the game but I'm not sure I agree with the vote analysis. I will have to think about that a bit more. The big reason I don't prefer to vote Redless today is because of the tracker, meaning they either have to be mafia backup or have idled their action last night. But with HH's analysis that mafia could probably tell Redless might be tracked and depending on their role they might just want to idle it I still think they're a decent vote.

pulsar locked her vote day 2 on someone who obviously wasn't going to be voted and then proceeded to never contribute to anything the entire day, and really hasn't contributed anything the whole game to be honest. My post #1413 is a good summary of my thoughts on this. I do hate to tunnel pulsar for one thing, but that one thing was pretty massive and there's really not a lot more to get a read on her from.

I agree with u. Do u think I'm a better vote than ecat?

did i play well? know i shouldnt have mass claimed for your seal of approval ;-; please say yes ill sheep you to heaven and back forever

ill sleep now, but on a more serious note what are your thoughts on joey and redless and can i hear your reasoning for scumreading pulsar? would love another perspective on these 3 people
Feeling better about Redless than before, joey is one of my strongest townreads because I'm just able to track his train of thought extremely well. He feels focused on solving, his reactions to/defense from the wagons has made sense, and I find myself agreeing with a lot of what he says about important slots like Catfries and pulsar. Pulsar is someone I go back and forth on but her behavior up to this point is still objectively scummy, I'd say she's more likely to be wolf than maf. Ironically one of the biggest things against pulsar was originally something M2H accused me of, which is doing my usual "haha so funny townmeta" stuff but in a more forced way, and for pulsar that means being a contrarian who swears a lot and gets personally offended at whoever votes her. It's the kind of behavior I'd expect mafia teammates to discourage but as wolf it makes perfect sense for camouflage. I can kinda say the same thing about her voting habits as well since she's made a point of dying on NAI non-wagons like Catfries.

I agree with u. Do u think I'm a better vote than ecat?
Yes. I like ecat's posting today - I initially scumleaned them and I'm not sure I'm totally off of that opinion yet but I would scumlean you a bit more. That being said neither is my preferred vote

Even though I'm trying best. Guys please don't vote me out tonight at least next day or last day.

I don't really like pulsar's reasons about me even if she thinks I'm scum. I said my thoughts above. I feel like pulsar is good to vote off due to her reasoning and the way she's the only one that voted catfries.

I feel like catfries isn't a good vote today due to the reason that we should focus more on pulsar or redless. If catfries did do something that would be odd I would have voted.

Town core:
Lechen: Lechen
HydrogenHydreigon: He has been overly committed almost all the time. He is the person who tries the hardest to solve the game, who analyzes the most, and throughout the game, we have all read him as town. Besides this, we know 100% that he is not WW. M2H said he used Jailkeeper on him N1, where the WW killed someone. This indicates that he is not WW because otherwise, his kill would have been blocked. If he were mafia, his behavior and his actively solving attitude wouldn't fit... I firmly believe he is town, and I put him together with Lechen.

90% Chances Town:
Des121 (reasons mentioned in previous post)

We have this people left:
pulsar512b: Could honestly be both Mafia or WW. I never read anything from Pulsar in this game that I liked, and my suspicion only increases as the days go by. They behave randomly, and it seems everyone thinks they are town. They could be mafia, and those defending them might be their partners. Their attitudes don't make sense to me for any faction.

Catfries: Probably not the wolf, he was tracked very early in the game (N0) there are very few chances in which catfries would idle his trackable action. We still have that weird theory of catfries being Mafia backup. I would say he is maybe town, but I would like to see more from him today to make a choice.

saberslasher11: I didn't like his vibes much in the first few days. He improved after that and continue to comment occasionally. However, I think they only have 1 or 2 messages longer than one line of text. I guess it's their play style. I don't know him well, to be honest. 33%/33%/33% chance of being wolf/mafia/town. People I trust read him as town, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. Note: if I'm not bad, saber and pulsar have been defending each other. I can see a world where if any of these two flips mafia they are a team, not sure, just a theory.

Redless: Probably not the wolf since last night Lechen tracked. Since we are already in a somewhat advanced stage, it would be quite logical for the WW not to want to use their other trackable action to avoid raising suspicions. That's why I don't clear them 100%
joey

StupidFlandrs48: Similar to Saber (a lot of people I trust had town reads for him), but way more weird. Did you all see that vote last day into redless? I mean, his posting are a bit funny, but idk. I can see him being Mafia or Wolf very strongly. I would need to reread all of his content but I don't have the time rn.
When have I defended pulsar?

if you want to vote out town for 'not contributing enough' and making an, admittedly not ideal, play d2 that i now regret, ur free to stay on me

if you want to vote out scum you're better with any of the other wagons
