Welcome back to the next tour in the LC Circuit: The Little Cup Ladder Tour! This tournament is designed to reward consistency and a high level of play maintained over a long stretch of games. Players of all skill levels will be laddering on fresh accounts in order to reach the top of the ladder, where the top cut from two separate cycles will play in a single-elimination seeded bracket.

Stage 2: The Playoffs
Following the 2 weeks of ladder qualification (throughout the 2 cycles), the top players from both cycles will face off in a single elimination, BO3 SV LC playoff bracket.

RULES THAT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SAY, BUT I AM BECAUSE SOMEONE WILL SCREW IT UP
If you are caught doing these things, you will be disqualified and possibly (probably) receive an infraction:
  • Boosting other players on the ladder, win trading, or cheating of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Any accounts that are made must be made after the cycle begins: if an account is made or pre-registered before the cycle begins it cannot be used.
  • Your name MUST be recognizable as you. If I cannot figure out who you are just by looking at the name, I can and will make you restart at any time in the cycle.
  • If you happen to get in the top 16 twice, you do not qualify twice. Instead the next highest elo in the second cycle will qualify.

Rules:
Standard SV LC
Any changes to the tier that occur in the middle of a round will not apply until the next round
You are expected to know and follow all general tournament rules.
This is part of the official LC Circuit as a Type C Tour
You must top cut to receive points.

1. Envy1 vs 32. Baddy - Envy will have spent too much time prepping and partying after beating Scottie in SCL that he forgets this tour exists and gets act called.
16. CarolML vs 17: CMDoge - I am boring by bolding the name I recognize, the upset would be cool.
8. Stecolomaxx vs 25. qdhwefdw
9. reggg vs 24. Nineveh - I lose to reggg to often in friendlies to not bold him
4. Kipkluif vs 29. zuzhouwawa - No way two keyboard spam usernames win in a row.
13. Expulso vs 20. Elfuseon - The winner of G1 wins the series as it's going to three. If Elfu loses by hax at any point, he loses the series.
5. Seraphz vs 28. JuanSG - Been impressed with his LCPL run this season, the teams and play has been good all season.
12. Quinn vs 21. westSasori - Coinflipped this slot, via Brasil
2. Fernanch vs 31. Zcarlett - Nymble user buff.
15. Eniigma vs 18. Novax - Multiple unmon user nerf. Eniigma just pull up with Snoozefest Six G1 and a TTM variant G2 and it's over.
7. Exi0022 vs 26. GasaiYunoSan - I was rinsing GYS on the last day of Cycle 2, but her play and teams were solid enough that I have faith.
10. Acehunter1 vs 23. shreyashhy - Could be the start of Acehunter's return to form in SV.
3. aleaniled vs 30. bleahey - This is a sleeper game because I will pass out before the first game ends.
6. Lokifan vs 27. ReaDynn
11. glowbrogang vs 22. georgiethefirst - I have no idea, I haven't seen either of them play.
Group A: Envy1, Baddy, CMDoge, CaroIML, reggg, Nineveh, qdhwefdw, Stecolomaxx
The notable players all dodged each other R1 to help build momentum, and the competitive games won't come until next week with potential games like Envy vs CMDoge. However, #32 is going all the way after a smashing activity call victory, and outplays CMD for a clean 2-0. The winner of reggg and Nineveh should be excited to see Stecolomaxx's early exit from the tournament as I would favor both players to beat the 25th seed.

Group B: Seraphz, JuanSG, westSasori, Quinn, Expulso, Elfuseon, zuzhouwawa, Kipluif
The hardest group, as most R1 matchups should be competitive, and they do not get easier after that. Juan I have been most impressed by in recent SV performance and should be a favorite to make it through. The winner of Expulso Elfuseon should also look to make a deeper run in this tournament as well.

Group C: aleaniled, bleahey, Greedy_eb, LeJames Chonk, glowbrogang, georgiethefirst, ReaDynn, Lokifan
The first half of the group is pretty competitive, while SCL starter Lokifan gets to float down the lazy river. I am ego-ing and saying that the winner of my game gets through. Aleaniled and bleahey have their work cut out for them in the next two weeks of games, while glowbro and georgie are hoping to at least win one game.

Group D: Exi0022, GasaiYunoSan, shreyashhy, Acehunter1, Eniigma, Novax, Zcarlett, Fernanch
In my opinion, the easiest of the four groups because Acehunter1 and Eniigma have been more successful in the tier than the rest, but I am going to be interesting and say neither of them get through as their unique team preferences crumble over the strength of the Snoozefest 6s and TTMs of the world. Instead, I am predicting that GYS and Fern will win their first games and topple the buzzsaw games that would await them next week. Zcarlett and Exi0022 should be looking to have the same ambitions as the two previously mentioned, but I am not as confident they can make it past the first step.
