US South (5) vs (3) Europe - Despite the fact that Europe always seems to roll on world cups so easily, I think South are just way too good right now to pass out on this one. Impressive teams with a lot of experience on both sides, by far the most fire matchup overall, but I'll go for South there. I'm ngl though I barely watched any of y'all games so 95% of those predictions are just done for content.

ADV RU: SEA vs bydy - I don't have enough words to describe my admiration for the Symphonic Echo of Auroras, she truly is the only one with enough talent to awaken the Sensitive Energy of Absol any time she's coming around with them Cacturnes and Shiftries. The Supreme Establishment of Astrotown has then chosen their winner. (To be serious for a second, I feel like bydy is lowkey being slept on but he can actually take this, prolly a solid 55-45)

China (3 to 4) vs (3 to 4) United Kingdom - My favourite team against the best surprise so far, I obviously wish we were there so I could unleash my meme potential on the lads but it is what it is. If I'm being honest, I already wanna see more of this, so I'm hoping for a tie-break so we could fully enjoy it, but especially because... well, I kinda have mixed feelings about who am I picking for winner. Simple reason: even though China got the Fantastic Four in SV/SS, they have not been convincing at all to me in ORAS/BW/ADV, whereas the UK just seems solid everywhere and don't particularly give me any reason to doubt on their ability to take it home. So yeah, pretty interesting, looks very close, may the best win cuz at the end we will get the best surprise in finals whatsoever.
SV RU: wangyu vs sufys - My man Wangyu clapped back hard after this 1st round and doubtlessly he will keep doing so, unless he's playing a top tier SV that probably has no more idea of what is it like to lose... I wonder if this would ever happen.
SV RU: Soul king0 vs MachJacob - I'm sorry I had no inspiration for this one, long history of French-British feud between me and MJ behind this
SV RU: hi.naming is hard vs Evie - Gew aka "anyone test?" at 4 AM, thinks of a team 20 minutes prior to the game, then proceeds to say "o_o i'm so washed team ;w;" after demolishing the deep down 6th stage of hell out of his opponent, there is just no way to beat this aura I think
SS RU: Metallica126 vs Pokeslice - Tougher than I thought, I'll go with Meta though cuz I think he just has more RU experience than Slice does + he got too much creativity to disappoint, but let's not forget that Slice used to cook mfs back in current swsh... so who knows.
SM RU: lza vs Master Chief - Top 3 China versus top 1 UK, there's no way I put a winner on this one. This is a good definition of mastering (lol) the craft, Iza being very good at SM as a whole gen and MC being MC, I'd be tempted to give MC a slight edge cuz I never saw him running out of ideas in this generation, but at the same we DON'T need to bold
ORAS RU: burstbean vs Aurist - Burstbean got a crazy Venusaur-shaded Registeel avatar but I eventually got sick of watching Venusaur/Registeel 6 times in a row I'm sorry nothing personal. Comfort zone is no joke and I can just hope this'll be the time when they will get out of it. Even though we couldn't lot watch Aurist that much, I think they might seem more diversified in their team choices
BW RU: Eternal Sunset vs Baddy - Fun BW OU autumn seasonal type shit but Baddy is more consistent overall, plus I find the teams that Dawn has brought a bit weird
ADV RU: mentalsoft vs plznostep - Records aside, stepper is just better and one of the best ADV players atm
