Palifin means Rain will be more viable! That means Ampharos rain can prosper again!

On that note, I’ve been updating the team and I changed Great Tusk to Boots because I was tired of losing to opposing hazards.

Just do a simple 'Yes/No' for options.

Truly, without any snark I stg, I'm glad you're having a good time. I wish I could say the same. I just don't see how the pressure of consistently poor feedback for the entire gen doesn't bother you. There is fun to be had and SV isn't as bad as some ppl would like to pretend it is, at all. I give it a 6.5 overall. You've been a transparent, active and engaged OU Tier Leader who quite clearly tries their best to do what they can. I don't feel like you have a lot of support behind the scenes from your peers, but that's just conjecture. I think, personally, I just need some closure. If there are plans to change things can you and the council post a roadmap maybe? If there isn't anything planned and this is the meta we're stuck with until gen 10 then just let us know so we can all move on and simply accept the game as it is.

Dolphins are my favorite (aquatic) animal. Ostrich are my favorite land animal. You can imagine my excitement seeing the gen 9 leaks. Then they were both banned.

You'd expect me to be happy perhaps. I'm not disgusted. If we're going to do this f it I hope dolphin is unbanned permanently. It will be good. It won't be levels better than things we have now. After booster I assume Raging Bolt has a comparable SpAtk. Thunderclap is like jet punch. Draco is CC. I understand there are differences. But it doesn't feel grossly better than other things.

It would only further justify the consequences of a tera blast ban. I feel like doing this in the opposite order would have been better. But we can still make it work

Nope. There is a ton of room for improvement still!

We just changed our suspect reqs and process, which had flaws that were exploited before. We are working on being more transparent all generation. There are a few Pokemon that can still be looked at (Wellspring, for example) or retested.

There is always room to improve!!!

There’s always a question about enjoyment of the metagame on surveys and of course it’ll remain.

this wouldn't give good data at all. it'd be severely skewed because it doesn't have the :afrostar: at the end

Ty for the response. We wouldn't even have survey results for me to cry about if you didn't in fact run them in the first place lol. That level of community engagement and data collection is to be commended. Thank you once again for providing unparalleled transparency and communication. I will wait patiently for the next suspect.
 
So I get people being perturbed or disagreeing with Palafin in current OU for various reasons, but I'm a little confused by the bewilderment or opposition to the Likeshop suggestion to make it a test. THe shop just stands in as another process for a topic to be picked, but by all accounts it's still subject to the usual voting and Supermajority to be considered again. People would still have to make Reqs and qualify for the vote to allow it back in rather than just go for consideration.
 
While flawed, the idea of suspecting something based of what influential (in this case the ones who have more likes here and more followers in social network and YT) users say is not too wrong, since it at least gets to move something (usually Suspects take a while to come because community cant generally agree on what to Suspect).
That being said, influential users are incredibly wrong this time, we have an improvable but decent Meta, Palafin will ruin it, unlike Lugia or Solgaleo for example (and even those are worse of an idea than just getting rid of some big OU threat like Waterpon). I will certainly dedicate more time to this Suspect than I am currently dedicating (for now unsuccesfully since I am bad at a bad tier) trying to save Machamp in DPP. Hopefully we can avoid a catastrophe.

Yh I kind of get it your point, in that it's just an alternative survey kind of? Enough people clearly feel some kind of way about Palafin to get it re-tested, the same as would be the case in a normal survey anyway. It just happens to be in the form of Likeshop.

But also as Finch said, I find it a little out of place for people to complain now something is close to being unbanned as opposed to disliking the process from the start.

You don’t have Kyurem as a higher issue than Ogerpon? That mon seems ripe for a 50-59% vote. Maybe even an essay by CTC screeching about Zap-Ting-Lu.
