happy new year, smogon friends. i hope to catch some games live. i do miss the days when i was a teenager and had motivation for this game. it was fun spamming kuk im gay and poshothorn memes. im still fond enough of this community to keep checking up on you though <3

for those that are new into the tour scene, enjoy this tour and do your best. the experience is amazing, especially if your team is filled with cool people.

Pro tip if you don't want "people to ruin your career":

1) don't be racist
2) don't defend rape
 
Withholding a report of gross logs until someone makes a tournament is lame. Whoever had the logs should have reported it immediately. You report things to make the community more safe, not for timely revenge.

But if you are going to say these horrible things, you should absolutely be held accountable and banned. He ruined his own “career” and he should never say anything so hurtful to begin with. Two wrongs don’t suddenly make a right.

I'm not sure if you've seen the logs but what he said goes far beyond "stupid shit", unless you don't take issues of racism and violence against women seriously??

Anyway, what's more disgusting is the supposed adults in that server enabling him and allowing him to say stuff like that completely unchecked. Certain parts of this community unfortunately have not grown beyond their edgy teenage years
 
It's an absolute disgrace that some RBY players are drafted while BeeOrSomething is not.

BeeOrSomething is excellent player and has helped me a lot during my RBY tournaments, I've progressed in this tier thanks to him. He deserves much more credit and his undraft remains an absolute disgrace.
 
In the end the thing with NoName is that he definitely was one of the biggest prospect in this site when it comes about OU, but there is no way to defend how he expressed himself on certain topics. You need to be smarter than the rest on something that people care way too much that is Smogon competition, somebody could ruin you for saying something inappropiate thinking it was harmless, just as proven here.

The punishment was consistent with the fault since in previous bases any logs like that were permaban material too and the rules are pretty clear, you just dont talk about that or try to justify it. Pretty sure it isnt that hard to fall into that pithole, right? Just dont be a jackass. Him being young doesnt justify it, isnt the mods responsibility to be father figures in a forum.

The level of pettiness for the time of that report is to be admired tbh, like damn talk about perfect lol. Mans was like:

I'm sure theres no need to actually argue about what he said being wrong because no one is arguing against it.
Whatever he said doesn't make him a bad person but shouldn't be able to be said without being corrected by the people around him, young people are easily influenced and when they aren't shown what going too far means they will go too far.
