Justification: Might seem kind of bland at first, but keep in mind that Grass-types are immune to powder moves. This is basically the reverse dynamic of Freeze-Dry with other Ice-type moves: you have the weaker option with better coverage and the stronger option with worse coverage. In my opinion it'd be most interesting to see this on a Pokemon that would otherwise enjoy being choice locked although I'm sure there's some application with it being put on something as a really specific coverage option and pseudo-STAB, plus there's a funny possibility of whatever Steel ends up being relevant having Flash Fire or something similar. Works pretty naturally with Spirimint having such high special bulk too.

Reasoning: A Sucker Punch clone that instead works for Status moves, and additionally punishes them by taking the effect if possible. Yes, the name comes from taking someone's work, but the type comes from pirates at sea. I think it'd be a cool (but risky) move to punish Pokemon from trying to take advantage of you by setting hazards or healing. However, if they simply attack you, you are at a big disadvantage. (Also cool in combination with Sucker Punch)

Preferrably given to a Pokémon with 90 Speed or lower, otherwise anything faster would make it very aggravating.

Again, since we're going to step two, i'm setting out some instructions for this slate:
  • Been loving the fakemons in this meta, but wanted to reiterate that realmons are also possible in this mod - a fakemon-only meta is also cool to me but i'm mostly just telling y'all lol
  • For Gunpowder, try making it use Gunpowder and have it live with its niche downside - mon does not need to be Fire-type or use choice items, but as Duo said these could be good directions. note the existance of overcoat too for the future :^)
  • The other two feel generally easier to put in a mon and make them use it but still - think about your subs and how they'll fare against the mons we have here already. Don't rely too much on existing matchups and also don't make a mon that can defeat anything, but making the metagame harmonic power-wise is definitely something we wanna do.

Competitive: Bulky tank that can use Piracy to snipe a potential recovery move or to take out the floor from underneath setup sweepers. Water/Dark is a decently underrated defensive typing in much the same way that Water/Psychic is underrated, augmenting its very solid physical bulk. Meanwhile, 120 attack ensures that it is no sitting duck, especially with STAB Knock Off AND Sucker Punch to augment Piracy's effectiveness.

Flavor: It's a serpentine dragon with wings that can also double as impenetrable shields should the situation call for it, in addition to scales as hard and sharp as steel. However, beneath all of its unique assets, it is an ultimately self-serving entity, retreating from the heat of battle if it knows it can't win or if it would suffer any sort of harm.
Competitive: It's a sort of mix of an offensive and defensive pivot, since it's got the bulk to withstand hits and the power to push a KO on the opponent. Paralyze the opponent with Glare or set up some Spikes, then use your great defensive typing and amazing physical bulk to stomach a hit before firing off a decently powerful Draco Meteor and gaining momentum on the opponent.

Competitive: Slow, bulky, special attacker that relies on Gunpowder as its main STAB, which is extremely powerful but also gets blocked by Grass-types, Safety Goggles users, or the occasional Overcoat user. It also has a very solid coverage movepool, but nothing that can really hit Grass-types (even with Mold Breaker for ability ignoring and Knock Off for dropping the occasional pair of Safety Goggles), but this is no worry since it backs this up with an amazing defensive typing and very solid physical bulk.

Description: Lots of non-Fire subs so far so I'll throw this into the ring. It's an alright, but imperfect dual-STAB combination for a Choice Item abuser thanks to the amount of resists Fighting has leading to a lot of room for different dual typings to answer this. I did build this with Spirimint in mind, which isn't a perfect counter but would shift the dynamic you would have while running this. Have to click U-turn or a secondary Fire STAB for it to not completely get stuffed out and the same could apply even to like a Bug/Electric with Safety Goggles for example.
