Gosh, what a nail-biting finals this was; super proud of Team Kanghaskhan for locking in and bringing it home! You all did a phenomenal job throughout the tournament, from getting 1st seed in the regular season, to then proceeding to break the Rands 1st seed curse and win it all (for what afaik is a Rands team tour first-time occurrence?). It was a pleasure to work with all of you, and while I'd say that I look forward to maybe working with you next year as well, I suspect I'll see a lot of you in RBTT instead :p

Anyway, shoutouts time ^-^
Star Wheel - The Gen 9 goat and our star (heh) first pick... that we slotted in Gen 8 :worrycargo: Regardless, you adjusted brilliantly to the format, securing the best record in the pool (6-1 in a Gen you don't even main is goat behaviour); I look forward to seeing you inevitably pop off in RBTT and/or WCOR :p

Lucas2543 - My fellow OCE gamer, it was nice to team with you again and end up going all the way this time after we fell just short in WCOR. Another of the many teammates we had that very much deserves to be in RBTT; looking forward to the WCOR runback this year, where hopefully we can get another job done o7

Maris Bonibell - When Team Keldeo's picked you as their RBTT replacement mid-season, I was really worried you wouldn't have time for us as well lol. Very grateful for you staying with us and putting on Gen 1 clinics each week :D (also ty Vitoran for the vouch, your opinion was the deciding factor for me at least)

Optidox - The Randdubs community has really flourished recently, and you have shown yourself to be at the pinnacle of this new era of Randdubs mains. Crazy to see you master yet another game, and with how quickly you've developed as a player I'm sure we've only seen the beginning! (@rbtt managers she alone knows the secret to beating ionnss y'all might wanna take notes)

Javi - The first member of our Spanish contingent (that truthfully was completely accidental), I wasn't around when you played in previous Rands team tours, but nevertheless we trusted you to put up a good performance. Needless to say, you did just that, and I'm very glad we were able to have you onboard :p

El químico del pueblucho - My scheduling goat :zonger: Regardless of any, uh, technical difficulties, you always brought super positive energy to the team, while putting up a phenomenal performance throughout the tournament, ending up with an 8-1 record and well deserved overall tournament MVP :D

Peum - Unfortunately your current and previous Smogon profile pics did irreparable damage to me whenever I saw them (long story, blame TNTDestroyer). Regardless, I'm glad you were able to dominate in playoffs and get the positive overall record you very much deserved this tour; maybe I'll see you again soon on the WCOR battlefield once more :p

drizzle - Our hyper-flexible star; thank you for being willing and able to slot into wherever our lineup shuffles needed you the most. Your versatility came in clutch, especially when it came to Mystery Box shenanigans. Congrats on you and Duc for being the first two-time RBEL victors : )

DripLegend - I know it didn't end up being your tour, but thank you as well for being able to flex into the factory Mystery Boxes, as well as subjecting yourself to the horror that is Gen 5 Rands (I could literally never). Hope to see you again in future Rands tours!

Mirbro - We've run into each other in many different Gen 6 Rands tours, but I was glad to finally be able to team with you! Very proud of you for coming back after some rather tilting games in the regular season and showing up when it mattered in finals. Looking forward to inevitably running in to you in the future :p

Shing - It's a real shame that Hackmons wasn't a permanent slot this tour, because we would have loved to slot you more and watch you flourish. Regardless, I greatly appreciate the energy you brought to team chat and game discussion; GL with your other team tours : )

Scizor Boladão - One problem with having a team full of goated players is that it's hard to find room for everybody on the starting lineup. It's a bit embarrassing that we originally had you on the bench :eeveehide:, but after getting subbed in, you proved that to be a very silly mistake that we made sure to rectify in the remaining weeks of the tour :p

Yuudachi0811 - Our resident old-gen specialist; unfortunately this didn't end up being the best tour for you. Similarly to with Shing, I wish there was a permanent Gen 2 slot for you to play in; regardless, I hope you enjoyed the tour and I hope to see you in WCOR later this year :D

Sylveesnom - Quite the rollercoaster of a tour for you, gosh. I hope that this tour has helped you become more confident in your play, and willing to back yourself to make good calls. I'm incredibly proud of you for not letting the pressure get to you and clutching up for us in finals, as well as for trusting our wacky BSSF pick and being willing to put in the practice to make it work :blobwizard:

not a racist - Another casualty of Our-Roster-Is-Just-Goated Syndrome, it's a shame that we weren't able to get you much playtime until near the end, but I appreciate you stepping up to a format that might not necessarily have been your first choice going into this, and I hope to see you in future Rands tours!

dmbros - Perhaps one of the most enthusiastic players I've ever had the pleasure of teaming with. I really appreciate the effort you put into playing practice games with me, and while I'm sorry you didn't get to shine this year, I'm sure that you'll be able to develop into a quality player in years to come : )

Huge shoutouts as well to co-manager Trade and basically-co-manager Ghostilex, it was a lot of fun planning our draft and generally managing in this tour with you both! Also a big thank you to violet river for giving us advice on some hidden gems and generally helping me not freak out in the voice call during the very stressful draft itself. Looking forward to us doing our thing in WCOR this year once more :D

Big thanks of course to bobomania and Dark Pulse for hosting yet another wonderful tournament; this was my first time managing in a tour, but you two helped make things easy and stress-free (from an administrative perspective, at least :psynervous:). GGs as well to all of the other teams, it was a pleasure facing off against you all!

And now, for one last time (for now...):

KANG GANG!!!
