Project 1v1 Core Laddering Challenge

Thank you everyone for your participation in the 7th CLC! It seems it was a popular one :)

We have 2 winners: with 1 Gold and 2 Silvers, both rarax and Clarex win 2 weeks with roomprizewinner role in the 1v1 room.
Good effort from Anonymous1634 as well who reached the Gold at the last minute, so that's worth a 1-week rpw.

CORE LADDERING CHALLENGE – CYCLE 8

Dragon, Fairy and Steel are allegedly the best types in competitive Pokémon.
So for this cycle, you'll have to use a team that must not include any of these types.
(Credits to Lumii , RADU and Mentality for the idea.)

Too easy? Well that's why I'm slightly increasing the Bronze and Silver ELO caps:
Code: 
Bronze: 1350
Silver: 1425
Gold: 1500
Platinum: 1600 (as if)

Prefix: 1vCLC8

PS: -100 aura points if you lazily use the "Spectrier-Ursaluna-Sneasler" team from World Cup SEU.


The full challenge rules can be found on the first post of the thread, but as a reminder:
  1. Post the replay that shows you reach the ELO cap you're claiming.
  2. You don't need to register in the thread anymore. Just pick a name with prefix 1vCLC8 and play!
  3. If you are found using unauthorised mons, forfeit the battle and fix your team, otherwise your results will be ignored.
  4. ELO requirements above.


The cycle ends on Monday 7 April 2025, at 10am GMT.

Because there is only one core, the winner is the player reaching the highest ELO (at any moment, not necessarily at the end of the cycle), so please make sure you record it!​
