Basculegion
Sub mixed Basculegion is the star breaker the team is built around. Wave crash allows it to deal big damage to special walls like Alolan Muk that its purely special sets would struggle against. Hex is less spammable than Shadow Ball would be, but is made up for with its teammates' status moves to enable it to 2HKO bulky waters like Vaporeon and Gastrodon. Basculegion also excels at punishing the tier's Steel-types like Bronzong and Registeel, so an excellent first partner is...
Munkidori
Choice Scarf Munkidori gives the team some much needed speed right off the bat, and its ability Toxic Chain has great synergy with Basculegion's Hex. It lures in Steel-types for Basculegion to enter versus.
Paldean Tauros-Blaze
Redbull helps shore up our mounting weakness to Knock Off, and crucially pressures the aforementioned bulky Water-types with burns from Will-o-Wisp. Earthquake is some of the best coverage available to hit mons like Chandelure, and we pair it with Tera Ground to boost its power.
Registeel
Registeel
could be the Stealth Rock setter for this team, but I would rather leverage its bulk, utility, and setup threat all at once. With IronPress, Heavy Slam, and Thunder Wave, switching into Registeel can be quite the headache. Tera Water helps with our team's overall lack of a Water resist outside of Basculegion.
Flygon
Since we do actually need a Stealth Rock setter, Flygon fits in nicely with its Ground and Electric immunities, plus its ability to pivot in Basculegion. Originally this was a Loaded Dice + SR set, but I changed it to a physically defensive Rocky Helmet set with Dragon Tail, which helps the team a lot versus mons like Incineroar, Alolan Muk, and Grassy Terrain teams.
Cinccino
Finally, Cinccino gives us everything we could ask for in the last slot: a speed-boosting endgame cleaner, fast Encore for anti-setup, reliable hazard removal, and a clutch immunity to Ghost-type attacks. I feel like this really demonstrates Cinccino's prestige as an S-rank pokemon in the tier.
