Pet Mod Breeding Variants V4 [FINAL SLATE: Ungodly Gifts]

Before anyone forgot, this is your 24 hour warning!

Be sure to complete your WIPs (especially dex entries, even a short one work) and add what ideas you got!

Second sub review! Take these suggestions into consideration
:SV/Slowking: :sv/Azumarill:
Name: Slowking-Jubilee
Azure: A lesser defensive type with a slightly better physical coverage set. Might be terrifying under Trick Room.
:altaria::altaria-mega::garchomp:
Name: Altaria-Predator
Dragons: By the rules of the Pet Mod, Altaria-Mega-Y is banned because Altaria itself is not compatible with Garchompite. It's otherwise a strong physical wallbreaker.
:braviary: :skarmory:
Name: Braviary-Armored
:Cyclizar: :Cetitan:
Name: Cyclizar-Skier
:SV/Rhyperior: :SV/rapidash-galar:
Name: Rhyperior-Mystic
Armor Native: Budget Corviknight.
Ski-zar: Terrible defensive type, not sure if the offensives are enough to make up for it.
Erumpent: Rhyperior's Weakness Policy set is now more viable.
:centiskorch: + :ribombee:
Name: Centiskorch-Puffy
Baked Puffs: Not sure if Flame Body's the one you want to keep, but it's much more scary offensively now.
:sv/Mismagius: :sv/Chimecho:
Name: Mismagius-Shrine Maiden
Miko: On its own, it is a good support. However, it's outclassed by Mismagius-Swamp Witch, who packs more bulk, recovery and more resistances
:gardevoir: :gardevoir-mega::alakazam:
Name: Gardevoir-Genius
:metagross: :revavroom:
Name: Metagross-BattleBot
Generation X buff?: Deja vu aside, it's a very boring but practical choice.
Son of Whyachi: Improved defences and Shift Gear are, again, and again boring but practical choice.

The voting phase will begin before we get more delays. The veto streak continues with Falchion's Mismagius-Shrine Maiden. Everything else (which is not put in a spoiler folder) is legal to be voted for.

As usual, we vote for up to five submissions, with the topmost (or leftmost if horizontal) counting for two points. The submissions with the top three amount of points after 48 hours will be accepted. And please consider their worth competitively as well.

You may only self-vote for one submission, and self-votes cannot be put as your first choice.

Type: Fairy/Ice
New Moves
: High Horsepower, Ice Spinner, Mountain Gale, Rapid Spin, Recover
Ability: Strong Jaw/Aroma Veil/Well-Baked Body
Dex Entry: While most Dachsbun enjoy cozy places to rest, like in front of fireplaces or ovens, this breed of Dachsbun is often found snoozing in freezers, much to the alarm of their owners.
Competitive Potentials: Ice type with Well-Baked Body. Access to Recover gives this Pokemon a lot more longevity.

:gardevoir: :alakazam: :gardevoir-mega:
Name: Gardevoir-Genius
Egg Group: Humanlike
Stats: 68/65/65/125/115/100 -> 68/85/65/165/135/120
Type
: Psychic/Fairy
New Moves: Barrier, Foul Play, Recover, Take Down, Tri Attack
Ability: Synchronize/Trace/Magic Guard -> Pixilate
Dex Entry: This breed of Gardevoir are known for their incredible intellect. They have been used as tacticians and political advisors since ancient times.

:metagross: :revavroom:
Name: Metagross-BattleBot
Egg Group: Mineral
Stats: 80/135/130/95/90/80
Type
: Steel/Psychic
New Moves: High Horsepower, Parting Shot, Shift Gear, Spin Out, Temper Flare
Ability: Clear Body / Filter
Dex Entry
: Some robot fanatics have tried upgrading Metagross' hardware to increase its speed and power. The resulting mad machine is difficult to control and dangerous to face.
Competitive Potentials: Metagross just needs one thing to be an excellent Pokemon, and Filter and Shift Gear help it excel. (Mega obviously banned to Ubers so don't ask about it lol)
:sv/chesnaught: :sv/wyrdeer:
Name: Chesnaught-Vanguard (resub)
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 96/107/122/74/75/64
Type: Fighting/Psychic
New Moves: Psyshield Bash, Thunder Wave, Lunge, Megahorn
Abilities: Bulletproof/Intimidate/Overgrow
Dex Entry: These Chesnaught hear sounds from an ancient time gone by that guide them. They often train at the tops of Sinnoh's peaks in order to gain their strength. Conspiracy theorists suggest a link between these variants and a god "clad in gold".
Competitive Description: Another psychic type, physically bulky spiker with intimidate or bulletproof if a Ghost if giving you a hard time. Psyshield Bash can combo with Body Press to snowball potentially out of control.
:sv/Primarina: :sv/Dragonite:
Name: Primarina-FatLadySings
Egg Group: Water 1
Stats: 80/74/74/113/116/60
Type: Dragon/Fairy
New Moves: Thunder Wave, Roost, Dragon Tail, Dragon Pulse
Removed Moves: Calm Mind
Abilities: Torrent/Liquid Voice/Multiscale
Dex Entry: "Traditional Kalosian Opera requires a sonatta from one of these before it considered to be finished. Old fashioned customers often complain when this is not present, even today."
Competitive Description: Bulky special wall that loses power and one of the best types possible in exchange for an amazing defensive ability and recovery. Can still be used offensively but is best utilised as a status spreader or phaser.
:infernape: + :mr-mime:
Name: Infernape-Mimic
Egg Group: Human-Like
Stats: 76 HP / 104 Atk / 71 Def / 104 SpA / 96 SpD / 108 Speed
Type: Psychic / Fighting
New Moves: Reflect, Light Screen, Thunderbolt, Sucker Punch, Psychic
Abilities: Technician | Iron Fist
Dex Entry: A variant of Infernape that have a tendency to mimic the action of humans or human-like Pokémon, giving an uncanny feel to those near it. It’s one of the Pokémon that derived the term “Monkey Pokémon see, monkey Pokémon do”.
Competitive Description: Technician oriented Pokémon with priority STAB (Mach Punch or Vacuum Wave), boosted Grass Knot / Low Kick against lighter Pokémon, Flame Wheel into 90 BP making for risk-free but weaker alternative of Raging Fury and Flare Blitz, and can set up Reflect + Light Screen instead thanks to it’s naturally high Speed. Sucker Punch can also help against Ghost-type, as well as faster Pokémon that takes resisted or no damage from Mach Punch.
:altaria::garchomp:
Name: Altaria-Predator
Egg Group: Dragon
Stats: 75 / 100 / 90 / 70 / 105 / 80 (520 BST)
Type:
Ground.png
Dragon.png

New Moves: Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, Earth Power, Iron Head
Abilities: Natural Cure / Rough Skin
Dex Entry
: This Altaria variant is much more aggressive and vicious than typical Altaria. Its enlarged talons can tear opponents to shreds.
Competitive: Budget Garchomp that actually has Dragon Dance and reliable recovery.
:altaria-mega::garchomp:
Name: Altaria-Predator-Mega
Egg Group: Dragon
Stats: 75 / 140 / 110 / 110 / 105 / 80 (620 BST)
Type:
Ground.png
Fairy.png

New Moves: Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Stone Edge, Earth Power, Iron Head
Abilities: Pixilate
Dex Entry: Its puffy clouds look soft but beware, underneath them are numerous concealed talons which are used to attack everything in sight.
Competitive: High attack with Pixilate and a powerful offensive STAB combo. Has access to Swords Dance to crush fatter teams.
Feel free to discuss our (many) winners while Samtendo09 updates the spreadsheet.

Did I miscount how many hours we had left and forget to vote? Maybe. Am I happy that three of my submissions won? Absolutely. Am I surprised that my two subs that council called "boring" got enough winning votes? Possibly.

1748359932318.png
And with that, Fairy and Psychic are now more numerous and a decent variety between the winners.

Normal, Flying, Dark, Electric and Water are now among the least numerous, but not by a huge margin.

Only two more slates left before we can conclude the Pet Mod and think about adjustments!

:sv/Toxtricity:Slate 9: Playing Against Typecasting :SV/Morpeko:

The type combination of your subs must be unique, or at the least very rare, as of the mainline games up to SV's Mochi Mayhem. There are two ways you can go about this, and we do recommend you also list out which option you went for each sub:

Option 1: This type combination still has not been attempted by GF in any form. Examples include Poison/Ice, Bug/Normal or Ground/Fairy.

Option 2: At most only two evolutionary lines, including form changes, have this type combo. Eligible examples include Ground/Psychic whose only holders are the :Claydol: line; or Grass/Rock with :Ogerpon-Cornerstone: & the :Cradily: line.

Submissions that make up type deficiencies are encouraged. Those that are judged to be too weak and/or have elements that are questionable at best and uncompetitive at worst may not be eligible for voting.

Submissions ends at Tuesday, seven days from this post.

Stats: 58/95/145/70/105/30
Type: Ground/Flying (Gliscor, Landorus)
New Moves: Defog, Strength Sap
Abilities: Wandering Spirit/Aftermath
Dex Entry: (WIP)
Competitive Description: GOATed defensive type which also provides the Metagame with a defogger with lots of utility, however you are relatively meh on the special side and can be a bit of a momentum sink.

:sv/Jolteon: :sv/Nidoking:
Name: Jolteon-Moonlord

Stats: 73/65/60/110/95/130
Type: Electric/Ground (Stunfisk, Sandy Shocks)
New Moves: Ice Beam, Earth Power, Toxic Spikes, Spikes, Taunt
Abilities: Volt Absorb/Quick Feet/Poison Point
Dex Entry: (WIP)
Competitive Description: We currently lack fast pivots in the meta, so this Jolteon has Bolt Beam coverage and an immunity + a fast volt switch. Sheer Force would be too broken so you still get a half decent ability in Poison Point.

Dex Entry: (WIP)

You can be a DD sweeper or a pivot which can't be statused, and you gain a dragon resistance due to the effects of Misty Terrain, and can use your high speed for several special or choiced roles. In exchange, you lose a bit of physical power and become reliant on Gunk Shot's accuracy.

Competitive: Electric Terrain setter that can take advantage of the terrain. STAB Supercell Slam hits hard, has Sucker Punch for priority, and Recover for longevity. Ice Punch hits Grass and Dragon types that resist its STAB combo.

New Moves: Supercell Slam, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Revival Blessing
Abilities: Intimidate / Moxie / Iron Fist
Dex Entry
: Krookodile-Zappy has inherited Pawmot's friendliness and seeks other injured Pokemon to help. However, its predatory appearance tends to scare away smaller Pokemon, leaving it frequently avoided and saddened.
Competitive: Iron Fist with elemental punches provides wide coverage, and Intimidate and Moxie can also be run effectively. Access to Revival Blessing allows it to bring back a fainted teammate.

(Hisuian Zorua line)
New Moves: Nasty Plot, Conversion, Recover, Agility, Tri Attack
Abilities: Adaptability / Cursed Body
Dex Entry: After being exposed to the dubious data inside a mysterious disc, this Froslass variant became erratic and ethereal, as if existing between dimensions. When it finds someone it likes, they will be transported to this interdimensional plane, never to return to their normal existence.
Competitive: Its typing leaves it with one weakness to Dark. Adaptability makes its Shadow Ball or Hex very powerful, and it has a solid speed stat too.

Type:
Water.png
Electric.png
(Unique)
New Moves: Sticky Web, Magic Coat, Liquidation, Leech Life, Lunge
Abilities: Simple / Unaware / Water Bubble
Dex Entry
: This Bibarel variant weaves flexible silk strands soaked in water, constructing elaborate dam-web hybrids across rivers and wetlands. It uses these lairs to trap both prey and intruders, then secures them with sticky sap and webbing before dragging them underwater. Its bubble-like head dome helps it breathe while submerged for hours. Though calm by nature, it defends its territory with a sudden burst of sticky silk and gnashing fangs.
Competitive: Normal/Bug with Water Bubble to retain Water STAB and prevent burns.

:Cryogonal: :Glimmora:
Name: Cryogonal-Methamphetamine (or Meth for short)
Egg Group: Mineral

Type:

Electric.png
(Unique)
New Moves: Sludge Wave, Mortal Spin, Earth Power, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock
Abilities: Levitate / Toxic Debris
Dex Entry
: Cryoglimm (Meth Form) drifts silently through alpine caves, releasing a toxic, glittering mist that crystallizes upon contact. Ancient texts describe it as a guardian of poisonous springs, its radiant core pulsing with biohazardous energy. Despite its serene appearance, even slight exposure to the spores it emits can cause frostbite and poisoning. Its petals fracture into razor-sharp shards when threatened, lashing out in a frigid bloom of death.
Competitive: Ice/Poison. Can go Levitate for an offensive set, or Toxic Debris with a Sash for a hazard lead.

Type

Water.png
Electric.png
(Alolan Raichu)
New Moves: Focus Blast, Nasty Plot, Psyshock, Psychic, Focus Blast
Abilities: Punk Rock / Technician / Magic Guard
Dex Entry
: This rare Toxtricity variant developed latent psychic abilities after centuries of exposure to psionic wavelengths. It channels electricity and mental energy through its bio-organic amp crest, releasing sonic waves that scramble neural patterns. Its music is not just heard—it’s felt inside the mind. Trainers exposed to its "Neuroshock Riff" for too long report hallucinations, memory lapses, and temporary telepathy.
Competitive: Psychic Noise (which Toxtricity already learns) is boosted by Punk Rock, making it a good stallbreaker. Or it can go Magic Guard + Life Orb.

Stats: 89/124/80/55/80/103
Type
: Ground/Electric (Stunfisk, Sandy Shocks)
New Moves: Agility, Explosion, Supercell Slam, Volt Switch, Zap Cannon
Ability: Iron Fist/Soundproof/No Guard
Dex Entry: Golurk unearthed in ancient tombs are often sluggish and slow to response due to being buried for centuries. It is believed that this breed of Golurk have had their hardware and software upgraded, allowing them to approach the capabilities of Golurk from ages past.
Competitive Potentials: No Guard Golurk with a good speed stat finally, allowing it to make good use of its toolkit.

:claydol: :porygon-z:
Name: Claydol-Matrix
Egg Group: Mineral

Type: Ground/Normal (Ursaluna, Diggersby)
New Moves: Agility, Dark Pulse, Recover, Thunderbolt, Tri Attack
Ability: Levitate/Adaptability
Dex Entry
: Its eyes are constantly filled with nothing but ones and zeroes. It is rumored to have intelligence rivalling the strongest supercomputer.
Competitive Potentials: All the Normal/Grounds are physical attackers, so here is a special one, with solid power, and decent longevity with Recover.

:noivern: :decidueye:
Name: Noivern-Marksman

Type: Flying/Ghost (Drifblim, Oricorio-Sensu)
New Moves: Brave Bird, Hex, Nasty Plot, Shadow Sneak, Spirit Shackle
Ability: Frisk/Infiltrator/Long Reach
Dex Entry
: Despite its great wingspan, it is able to fly silently, stalking its prey from over a mile away. It is able to swoop in with such precision and speed that its targets disappear in the blink of an eye.
Competitive Potentials: Either benefitting from its new Attack stat and Dragon Dance, or its special movepool being amplified by Nasty Plot.

:aggron: :feraligatr: :aggron-mega:
Name: Aggron-Crocodile Rock (+Mega)
Egg Group: Monster
Stats: 70/110/180/60/60/64 -> 70/140/230/60/80/64
Type
: Steel/Water (Empoleon) -> Steel
New Moves: Aqua Jet, Dragon Dance, Flip Turn, Ice Fang, Waterfall
Ability: Sturdy/Rock Head/Sheer Force -> Filter
Dex Entry: It trains itself under waterfalls at the tops of mountains. It can fall down a waterfall hundreds of feet high and emerge from the water without a single scratch.
Competitive Potentials: Sheer Force Water/Steel gives Aggron some new power and a better defensive typing, and Dragon Dance and Flip Turn are two tools that give the Mega some more utility instead of just being a wall.

:armarouge: :kingambit:
Name: Armarouge-Kingmaker
Egg Group: Humanlike
Stats: 85/98/100/125/80/75
Type: Dark/Psychic (Malamar, Hoopa-U)
New Moves: Hidden Power, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance, Zen Headbutt
Ability: Flash Fire/Weak Armor/Supreme Overlord
Dex Entry
: In warm wastelands that few dare enter, armies of Ceruledge are led by an Armarouge that commands them with a terrifying presence.
Competitive Potentials: With either Swords Dance physical or Calm Mind special sets, Armarouge has some good power to clean up the endgame with Supreme Overlord-boosted moves. A strong ability balanced by an underwhelming defensive typing.
