Popcorn Mafia 4 - Cycle 3 Deadline August 23 at 10PM EDT

ok I've got some thoughts since my last post

I like Tommy here; I think his posts read very "lemme help the state of the thread" i.e. 188

Honestly AP's read on me, while I obviously disagree, is pushed harder than any read last game, so I'm labelling him as town.

I don't really like Texas's posting here. I feel like any read they provide this game has been fairly unsupported, and the gamestate jumping on and agreeing with his post on Celever rubbed me the wrong way.

I feel like Cel's c1 is very similar to their last d1 and we lynched them for it with their overall lax approach to their entrance. though ig I wouldn't mind Cel being a gunbearer LMAO.

it is still really bad for town if townys take this kind of idea, because every time town is shot we lose a member and thats bad for us, it is like a thing people often say that "wow you dont want to die/youre defensive, must be mafia"

but as either alignment dying is a losecon, so just a fair warning to townies you should NOT be trying to get shot (im sure people will anyways but the less the better)

Yeah I completely agree with that, it was more a joke than a request, I would like to live a bit more that my few mafia games either way, I'm pretty sure I'd be a poor shoot
 
I feel like in a perfect world every mafia game would be independent of one another and we wouldn’t have to make callbacks to old games with how people play and such and could only focus on what is happening in the current game. Maybe that’s just an unrealistic expectation lol I feel like I have so much catching up to do with the lore of everything and how everyone plays

Agreed that there’s no sense trying to sniff out vengefuls in general, losing them is still a bad trade for the maf, so I wouldn’t expect them to be acting any differently than normal goons

ftr i get what youre saying but dont overthink not knowing whats going on, its not a requirement to know every game

i forget a lot of the games i played myself, and i dont play that often and its true you learn palyers over time, but specific moments arent like super key, you can throw a quick glance but even the most experienced players will see a lot of stuff they dont know and need to know every game effectively

whats most important is if what someone is saying isnt completely made up and you can usually rely on someone else to call that out, even if you dont know whats going on yourself someone else probably does, and if something is super major then you can ask for a link to the specific moment and just fact check but you dont need to know everything and by the time you know a lot you will have forgotten most of it
 
mafia shouldn't care if its vengeful or goon being shot btw but if people think they do the thoughts can still be valid so i dont really mind hearing the thoughts, especially from newer players

pebble is right in that content is good for the fact its content

the worst section is probably the townread on my ironically but we let that off for the fact its based
