NOC Electoral Mafia - Game thread

there's something that amuses me greatly about the one time I ignore the fact that I automatically scumread airc being the one time where not only is he mafia but also we're just letting him live in spite of that

DBD essentially fucking off the whole game is super annoying (I think he was on vacation?) and realiti has generally played super well but I think the only solve that makes sense to me at this point is the one where realiti is 4th mafia and lying about being tracker(? watcher?) using info he has from scumchat

He was for part of it, but he said he'd come back and play more. It's just very lackluster play, and his initial claim really bothers me. Especially since he held onto it for a full phase.

Plus Vote Manipulation Immunity just feels like a campy version of Phoopes role from D1. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if his claim is just the reverse of what his actual role is. Like maybe he is the Vote Director, and he can pick 2 players and for 2 day phases they vote players of his choice. Plus you and DBD both claimed to be Roleblocked this phase and we still have no idea where that could have come from, especially since he said he visited Jalmont yet somehow you ended up getting his ballot. Doesn't make sense
 
I say this because they chose Jalmont for two phases, and it's entirely possible they picked me for 2 phases but your protection on N2 prevented me from voting for the last phase and that's why there was a gap or smthn? But also the number 2 is just such a weird number to put in a role that just gives immunity to vote manipulation to one person each time.

Im able to Guard 3 times per game, everytime I guard I protect myself from nightkills and I know who visited me, whoever visits me I get to have a secret 2 votes on them. Day 1 I guarded but got roleblocked so it didnt count.

Last night I was hoping for vote redirector to just visit me, but I think mafia used their nightkill on me? and that's why liquid visited me last night

So it halves the number of votes on someone but also stores those votes for use later. I think it was used on realiti to steal 1 vote for mafia to use towards roles/factional kill, and on AirC to protect him from a vote elimination. That's also why your role was latched onto Realiti probably, I think maf gets most use from you if you're attached to a villager rather than a mafia member.

Comparatively, I think you're on AirC rn so he can rope in some more votes for his team before he goes, think he might have used his Day Elimination Protection today rather than yesterday. But Idk :O

Unfortunately the formatting is borked for me so I can't read all of it but thank you. I largely agree with you analysis on the roles and I had the same question about how AP's role worked. Are the "stolen" votes added to activating the mafia night kill or are they just reduced? To be honest, I'm surprised that part wasn't cut out and revealed since it gives us a huge clue that mafia is extremely incentivized to be placing votes.

I have to be honest but I am seriously considering the world of realiti scum here. DBD no voting day 1 seems strange to do as mafia when it would've been easy to just be on literally anyone and get some benefit or either a mis-vote or charging up their kill. I guess AF looks good on day 1 since they could've swapped to a teammate but it is hard to read into with the wagons not very consolidated.

day 2 is just bizarre to me what was the plan there? Why was AirC working so hard to save carrotman? gain some town cred with AF? distancing with realiti/dbd? I don't quite know

That's an interesting point. Rather than mafia having to vote their teammates, the kill is based on any votes that they receive. I didn't even consider that for why I would be persuaded to AirC. I suppose that makes realiti look more suspicious.

There isn't a single role that's been seen or even claimed that has two distinct, unrelated night actions that actually affect other players. therefore, logically the persuader and the roleblocker on mafia are probably two separate roles. AF and DBD have roles who have been confirmed to exist by multiple outside sources, and therefore neither of them can be scum imo
