Reversal of Worlds was mostly about the idea of reversing status aliments thus turning a bad thing into a good thing. The name can be easily changed into something else more fitting.

The other name for it is "Ribbon" which is based on the equipment/accessory of the same name.

Concept: Magic guard tank/wall.
Description: Magic guard will stop it from getting hurt from poison,burn,SR Ect. And it should have aprobably not alot of speed so that it can be helpful in trick room teams,.

I'm just re posting this incase anyone hasn't seen it since i battled someone with a clefable a minuet ago and it's ability is really good and can make a brilliant anti - hazard pokemon with the right stats and typing.

Description: A pokemon with a movepool, that allows him to not only pass physical Attack, it also gives him moves to increase its SpA.

Description: A pokemon that works like a counter to SleepTalking and Stalling pkm due to its huge movepool ( hits many types effective).

Description: A pokemon that specializes in SpD. It may look like a weaker Blissey, but it has greater Defense and Attack.

Description: A Pkm that gets a monster in Sun, increasing its stat(s) every turn if the sun shines. Whole boost disappears if the sun does.

Description: A Pokemon just made to counter Revenge-Killer ( High Spe,etc.)

I hope nobody thinks I just made these up.

Meet Snorlax.

Hello Deoxys-S.

almost all your ideas break the rules, please read them.

This concept overlaps with a number of concepts that people have already submitted, but I think it still might be usable.

Concept: Innate Item
Description: A pokemon with an ability that imitates a held item, probably powered down. Role, typing, movepool, and stats would depend on which item is chosen. EDIT: The pokemon might get two abilities, each imitating a different item to give the pokemon different uses.

The item imitation might also be triggered by weather, but causing an effect that doesn't already exist.
(Using examples of existing abilities: Solar power = Special attack sunny life orb, Dry skin = Rainy double leftovers, snow cloak/sand veil = hail/sandstorm Brightpowder).

I see some issues with mechanics and balance: Just hypothetically, what if a pokemon imitating choice specs got equipped with another choice specs? Will the bonus be additive (2x special attack) or multiplicative (2.25x special attack)? Is that fair? Will that be disallowed by the ability? Will choice items be imitated at all?

Syclant says hi.

*winces*
Sorry, I haven't looked at the previous projects. My bad.

I really like the ice-resisting dragon idea. Outside of Giratina there are no really defensive dragon types, so that'd be highly cool. Also Ice is getting to be (in my opinion) far too popular.

Before everyone attacks me, yes, I know Salamence, Dragonite, etc. can be played defensively - it's just that most people choose to play Godzilla instead.

Concept: Ultimate Baton Passer
Description: A Pokémon that learns Baton Pass and a large variety of stat-boosting moves (more of a variety than the current BPers; specifically which moves to use will be voted on), who is excellent at a Baton Passer but can't do anything else even halfway decently.

Well, yes, Smeargle, but I was thinking it's more like a Bulk Up/Calm Mind/Rock Polish/Baton Pass Mew with shit stats and pretty much no attack moves.

So many of the things I want are simply extensions on existing Pokemon, rather than a new kind of Pokemon, such as, well, something that becomes incredibly similar to Togekiss. A UU Pokemon that may not even be that good in UU that evolves into an OU Pokemon all of a sudden. My main thought here was a Relicanth evolution. There are others, like Fearow, Ariados, Plusle/Minun, etc.

Concept: "A Defensive Dragon? Blasphemy!"
Description: As opposed to its offensive cousins, this Pokemon would be focused on defensive capabilities. It would have a wide move-pool, but would not focus so much on its attacking options. The stats would be focused not unlike Vaporeon, except more Physically based rather than Special and not as powerful attacking-wise.

I was thinking the same thing, but with different ideas:

Concept: Supporting Dragon-Rock Garchomp
Description: A Garchomp with more support moves and better defenses and worse offenses (and speed).

In that one sentence (and a half, I suppose), was I too specific?

umm...okay i got one. note that i only got to page three before posting this, so im sorry if someone already said it.

Idea: Castform Evo

Castform should get an evolution that also uses it's weather change color thing ability. It could get better stats than all 70's. Also it cna help with ior help counter weather teamsd. Finally i was thinking it could transform inot a ground type when in Sandstorm, but that may be asking too much.

Rapid Spin:

I was thinking we could get a scrappy rapid spinner that is immune to toxic spikes anbd resistant to SR. Maybe a steel/poison type. Wait someone already said that, but it's still a good idea. Or it could be a simple poisn type with mountaineer. maybe poison and something, but there should be more poison pokemon in OU. anyway, i like either poison/steel, poison/electric, or poison/ground. the last one doesnt have a 4x weakness either.

I revoke my past suggestions to come up with a new idea.

Concept: Lucky Shot

Description: This pokemon should employ many attacks that have a chance to critical hit and/or other side effects and boost those chances. It should also be very hard to hit as well, making any hit on it, a "lucky shot". It should be partly fragile to attacks, but could possibly survive an unpowered attack.

...I thought Types and Abilities were not supposed to be discussed in Concepts, as they limit the potential too much...?

Either way, I seriously root for Skarmblisscounter's Stealth Rock Remover, and ignore my previous ideas.

I liked the idea about the Walrein of the Sand thing. So I'm gonna do a concept on it.

Concept: Walrein of the Sand
Description: This would be a very nice addition to a Sand based team and could be really useful in battle. It would be able to work in a Sandstream, perhaps heal itself in it and provide decent support. It could also be another Rapid Spinner or Spiker/Rocker if it needs to be.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I take back the one I did and thought if this one instead.
Concept: Wish Upon a Star
Description: There's not many pokemon that learn Wish and are usable. So it would be great to have a pokemon based around the move Wish. We lack in that move and it's incredibley useful to teams. Vaporeon and Blissey (witch is now banned iirc) are the only ones that seem to pass Wish a couple of times. But if it was a pokemon based around Wish and other support moves, it would be a great addition.
Concept: Weather conjurer
Description: Fire/Water type with two abilities (one bringing rain, the other sun) and you just pick the ability that suits your team. The Weather would benefit it's STAB moves. In sun, water attacks STAB is negated from the sun, and in rain, Fire move STAB is negated. It would be bulky since it has great Defensive typing.
This is about the roles, not the type/ability.
I'm going to reword my description, because it was bad before. (And I have a slight change to make to it.)
Concept: Ultimate Baton Passer
Description: Learns Baton Pass and a variety of stat-boosting moves to pass to other Pokémon. However, unlike all current BPers, it can perform well on its own without simply passing the stat-ups to another Pokémon, which means that your opponent won't know whether you're going to Baton Pass or attack.
Agility+Stall is dumb in and of itself. Baton Pass has i think +4 or +5 priority, so stall wouldn't matter. We don't need a Baton Passer right now.
How does that sound?
That would be a good idea in and of itself. However, I would like to see someone combine that with the "Haze-ablaze" idea. There aren't many viable Haze users either, and i believe that it would be better for the metagame to have a wish/hazer. Currently, I think Altaria and Vaporeon are the only Pokemon that get both.
It would be an excellent idea to get a usable Wish passer and a Hazer that works. Altaria isn't too happy battling in OU and Vaporeon is an ok Wish passer but this pokemon could be the next decent Haze/Wisher.
