I got this Regice and want to know if it's hacked. Its location is Mt. Coronet, and at Level 40. Is that correct in Platinum? (don't have it yet)
 
Thanks, but I want to know if it says Mt. Coronet or if it says that special room... because he could have just leveled it up to 50.
 
Is there priority for characteristics?

for example, will a pokemon 31/31/x/x/x/x Always have "Often dozes off", Always have "Likes to thrash about", or is it random?
 
The breeding guide says that there is no priority between characteristics, one is chosen at random from the IVs that are tied for highest.
I think it is right because I have bred a lot of pokemon that were triple flawless or more and the characteristic always changed.
 
Feebas and poffins

Am i able to max out a bold natured feebas's beauty when he likes sour poffins?

If yes, then what berries should i use?
 
Yes, the only way to get seismic toss is with the emerald move tutor. Chansey/Blissey gets Softboiled by level up at level 12 though.
 
I don't know if it is viable but at least now it gets Ice Punch instead of Ice Fang thanks to Platinum so that's a better physical STAB. It also gets Sucker Punch now.
Its attack is equal to its special attack so all that held it back was better moves but it isn't a top physical or special attacker anyway. I don't think it would go past UU/NU.
 
Which Gorebyss spread set is better?
Consider that these are being used in OU and without Rain Dance Support...

Whoops... Changed it
With 252 Sp.atk and speed, Choice Scarf Timid, Gorebyss gets 327 Sp.atk and 334 Speed... Is that even worth it?
 
I'd say the first set could be more useful because it has more stretchability if that's a word although the 10% health loss after each turn is a downside. Plus the upside for the Life Orb set is that you can use different attacks that you have that you couldn't do with the Choice Specs set so you won't get walled by counters.
 
Pokemon Crystal question, but...

is there anyone to trade with in-game? I found out that Haunter cannot learn the elemental punches, which really limits his usefulness.
 
I recall the Abra-Machop trade in Goldenrod and the Female Dragonair-Rhydon in Blackthorn.

Also the Chansey - Aerodactyl near Fuschia city.
