I'm really loving Arghonaut, so I'm throwing my support behind it. However, I don't see why people like Cpt.Krook. Its a cool name and all, but it doesn't really seem like a name for a pokemon.

I'm liking Brawlimari among some others.

Arghanaut has its charm, but I'm a little put off by how it sounds more like a profession than a monster. 'Argh' is cool though.

For my second name, I'm gonna submit Argharon, in honor of the Pokemon's creator. It's abstract but relevant.

After seeing the names Calimelee and Brawlimari, I just can't help but think the evolution line would go like this

Scallismash-->Calimelee-->Brawlimari

Where Calimelee would be much less bulky, but be faster and have the ability Technician...>_>

Glad you liked the name. Somehow I think that Calimelee rolls of
the tongue easier, and seems less forced than Brawlimari, but both are great names imo.

Genius, Pirataslice is decent but "Bucamate" has a nice flow, simple and kind of sounds bulky. You got my vote :naughty:

Here is my input:

Hooktopus
- Hook "pirate" + Octopus

(I will put second input later)

Yeah.. haterguys submission is underated. Bucamate and Pirataslice are both great and has a nice flow to it.

Also I like Arghonaut.

Here is my submission:

-Barbariken

Barbaric + Kraken

Barbaric resembles how pirates are always Barbaric, plus it gives the bulk to it's name. Kraken is a big giant squid.

Well you have two subbmissions... or if you want, I could nix one of mine and make it Cap'n Krook.... Either way both get in.
Oh yeah, forgot about the two submission thing, but on the voting part, we only get one right? Anyhow, my two submissions so far are Cpt. Krook and Cap'nkrook. Thanks for the support everyone and good luck to everyone else!

Looks like a sea monster!
Hexapus
Khahex

Kharybdis was a sea monster by the way, and a "Hexapus" was discovered once, basically an Octopus but with 6 thingies. Khahex is a mixture, but Hexapus sounds good in itself.

Th abbrevtion for Captain can be Cpt, CPT, Capt, or CAPT. All can be used with or without the period at the end. Capt Krook probably looks better than Cpt. Krook.
