Focus blast is nice for making you not t-tar bait and for hitting steels, but what Shelcario said is better advice.

My question: What is the Smogon Magazine supposed to do that the forums do not? I read all the threads there, and it wasn't clear to me...

What is the difference between the "upper" and "lower" voting requirements in regards to the suspect test I keep hearing about?

Im new to competative batteling and Ev training so bear with me. I noticed while training my Gabite that after I training a bit on speed, basic 6 magicarp trainer, that once I lvled I got +15 spd. So my question follows, if you train on attack and def for instance, bad example but bear with me, and get to lvl 95~98ish, then berry your ev's off, and train HP and Spd, then lvl, won't you benifit for having the evs in HP and Spd, and only lose a couple points from max in atk and def? I wasnt sure if you accuire any negative affects or not. Just let me know if you can, thanks.

When you erase the EVs, you erase the stats gained from those EVs. Yes, the game WILL lower your stats if necessary.

Twister is affected by King's Rock. Togekiss can learn Twister in Platinum. What is the exact flinch rate of Twister with King's Rock on a Togekiss with Serene Grace?

This move affects both opponents by the way.

Moves that already have flinch (or secondary effects altogether I believe) are not affected by King's Rock. Where are you reading that it affects Twister? (or did you not know the flinch/effect stipulation?)

Where: Route 210
Who: Ninja Boy Fabian
What they have: 3 Geodude around level 20
Total Evs: 3

Where: Route 212
Who: Collector Dominique
What they have: 3 Geodude around level 20
Total Evs: 3

Taken from GameFAQs' EV Training Hotspot Guide.

Can someone link me to a successful Offensive RMT? All I've seen is "Stall" But really thats boring.

And before I get " Google.com " I have searched on the site and google for "good" offensive teams, but they all sucked so I'm here asking if anyone has a link saved or knows where a good one is.

If NB isn't wrong, the flinch rate would be 20 * 2 + ((30/256) * 100) = ~51 %

MixLuke
Ice Punch
Aura Sphere
Bullet Punch (because Froslass pwns <3)
And? Also, EVs and nature? What of the two traits is better for Luke? Stedfast can help with Fake Out leads...

Fake Out is getting rarer with the decline of Suicide leads.

Inner Focus is superior (though not by much), but could help in an (read: uncommon) situation where you are against Iron Head Jirachi. Neither ability is great, but Inner Focus is superior.

Overall...its a medicore set, you need to tell us what its trying to accomplish other than being just a gimmick or an (ineffective) suprise. If you want to break Skarmbliss SDLucario can do it and is a great Pokemon in general, or you can use MixApe, who has much better speed.

Can some one give me a few random ideas? I need suggestions for a good Sunny Day-er... for use in OU... Something fast and/or defensive...

A good starter for a sunny day team :

Jumpluff @Heat Rock
-Sunny Day
-Sleep Powder
-Encore
-Whatever you want

For the team, there is Exeggutor, Heatran, and a few UnderUsed like Shiftry (Explosion + Chlorophil), Typhlosion, Moltres (50 % on stealth rock => Rapin Spinner if you ever choose to play it) or even some Ground-types like Nidoking or Donphan are really good in a sunny day team if well played...

I forget a lot of possibilities...

Well, from the Sunny Day page:

Ninjask is easily the fastest, and it's random! But don't use it. The fastest reliable set up would probably be Crobat; it can set up the weather and U-turn to somebody who needs it. Other fast set up includes Azelf, Ambipom (with Fake Out), Jumpluff, and Latias.

For defensive, there are many options. These include Celebi, Zapdos, Blissey, Jirachi, Uxie, Skarmory, and Cresselia. Several of these also have U-Turn. The list goes on.

I suggest following the link above and finding specifically what you're looking for. A lot of Pokemon learn Sunny Day, so finding specific pokemon would be better than a general idea. Remember that you can click the stat header (like Spe) to list it in the order you need.
