Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

for the IV part it isn't necessary to go through the calibration process again, it just gives you more information so that you can be a bit more accurate in the future, and it helps you confirm that you hit the right delay.
The Cyndaquil I bred out, I had to skip the recalibration process cause I was in school with no Reporter at hand :X
ok... confirmed Shiny Adamant Riolu locked in place, going to attempt to SR for complete flawless...

Ok, I have my initial seed and just caught Articuno. Gonna get the other two and check their PIDs. I hope they come together...

EDIT:

Articuno = frame 11
Lonely
25/4/16/31/21/24

Zapdos = frame 6
Naive
26/8/28/0/30/25

Moltres = frame 1
Careful
3/23/24/15/19/10

Well. The numbers speak for themselves.

Trying to exploit for IVs now. I'm getting very different offsets now though. Just means I have to recalibrate each time I save, which is annoying. My seconds are very consistent and I am keeping my Delay usually within 10 frames, but I keep getting different offsets after I save, I'm guessing because I'm saving at a different point in the "cycle" of the NPC's movements.

Anyone have any tips for when I should try and save so that I get a consistent offset?

Ok, I am having troubles with the whole shiny hatching

When I hatch the egg, the gender and nature is correct (this has happened twice now), however, the eggs are never shiny like they are supposed to be

What is going on? I am using the old generator (the one that says Plat instead of DPPt), if that helps any. And yes, I ticked off the shiny only box. I am also using AR to confirm IV's. Could the AR be messing with something?

Also, I don't flip away from the coin flip before breeding the egg. Am I supposed to?

;.; I just want my bliddy shiny

wait, which offset are you looking for? cause the NPC offset isn't what you want to plug into the time finder, you want your own frame offset

You don't have to flip away. According to the info, you have an incorrect ID and SID in the boxes most likely.

Well. The numbers speak for themselves.

Thank you very much for this information.

Calls 1,2,3, and 4 are the PID/IV generation for Moltres.

Calls 6,7,8, and 9 are the PID/IV generation for Zapados.

Calls 11,12,13, and 14 are the PID/IV generation for Articuno.

I do wonder what the extra calls that seem to be stuffed in there are for, though. 5 and 10.

I am going to assume that you checked the IV's and they match what is on the output from RNG Reporter (making sure you did not just match on nature).

Howie was that @ me?

If so, I meant the offset of the egg. I'm assuming because I save at a different point each time (ie. the NPCs are in a different position each time), means my offset changes accordingly.

yeah, I haven't been posting on Smogon for a while, so I forget how fast the posts can come flying in...
what you want for the time finder is the frame that you normally get, that's the offset you want, not the one you get after you catch a Pokemon and plug in its Nature and IVs, cause the program then picks a seed that lets you hit your usual frame.

Yeah, I know. Sorry I'm not explaining it well enough.

I've done all my testing and get consistent delays, seconds and offsets(frames). Now that I want to go for a particular spread I'm obviously having to change the time and date which brings up the Journal upon starting up the game again. I have to save after that, and by dong that I change the offset that I get because of the different positions of the NPCs. Then I change my offset in RNGReporter and change the date and end up with a different offset again. It's like a wild goose chase.

huh... NPC offset never really seems to affect me..., my question was more of what are you changing in the RNG Reporter, I don't recall of any area where you would need to fill in NPC offset...

You don't, but they (the NPCs) affect the egg offset/frame. The only thing I'm changing in RNGReporter is the offset until I get one consistently, which I'm saying is very difficult since I have to keep saving when the journal pops up.

I'm doing everything correctly since the IVs generated are on the list, it's just I'm not yet hitting my target spread.

You don't have to save every time the journal pops up. It does not affect it unless it says caught X pokemon. IF it does have that, then it advances by 2 I believe. Instead of changing the date and time you go for, just keep re-saving until you get the offset you want. I keep doing it until I get 1 always.

I thought the NPCs affected the delay, the egg offset is solely dependent on how fast you talk to the old man after the game starts up. Cause I know for one thing... the delay you get alters your seed and is very hard to control.

You have the to words backwards. Delay is the time from the start of the game to the continue, while offset is how fast you take it.

wait, that just means I had offset right, I was never really sure what delay was affected by, as I asked about twelve posts ago :X but it's the time from the start of the game eh..? interesting... that's a bit more helpful...

Possibly where they are being released to?

Very good theory, Syberia.

If we can find out if they are initially released to different places all of the time we can probably all but confirm this. Anyone want to figure out the correlation between the next RNG call and where they land if this is the case?

I really need something ungently
I got a really nice seed
where i dont even need to click at the happiness thing

but i forgot to out at the 5th, the one before it

what do i do?
O_o

EDIT: im at the happiness checker app
instead of the 5th

Ok, im gonna post here all the info
the nature i want is like this:
1st:
taps at happ.checker:0
taps at coin: 0
just switch into the happiness chcker one

2nd:
happ: 1

3rd:
happ: 3
coin: 6

happ: 3
coin: 11

PLZ, please, someone help me
im desperate

o.O do you need any coin flips? cause I think you're pretty lucky to NOT be on app 5 since switching to app 6 would count as a click... but you might want to wait for someone else to answer since I'm not too sure...
