Hi, I have a simple question: what happens in a Pokemon battle when both the combatants have EXACTLY the same speed? Who goes first? Does the game "flip a coin" to choose who gets to go first, or is there a certain rule that I'm missing?

Yeah, it's random who goes first in that instance.

And to the people above this poster, oh look, The Rules:

Do not flame or abuse other members. The anonymity of the internet does not give you a license to treat the users of this forum disrespectfully. Of course, posts in Firebot may be an exception, but please refer to the rules of that forum. This rule goes at least triple if the member in question is a moderator or administrator, as alluded to above.

EDIT:

Darkcyberelf is doulbe posting.
That deserves an infraction because I got in trouble for that.

lol, how convienient:

Do not be a junior mod. This means that you are not to make posts like: “In before lock” “Ban this guy!” “This is a bad thread!” “Off to Trou with this one!” The Smogon moderation staff is more than capable of maintaining these forums; please let them do so without your interference.

As you said, the game "flips a coin" to decide who goes first in that situation.

I cannot get online all of the time so I am wondering how to get an offline calculator that is decent?
Damage calculator? Well, there are some downloadable calculators in various formats in C&C you might want to check out.

[shameless advertising]
If you have Excel, then check out the Pokemon Resource in my sig. A lot of people seem to like it and the damage calculator is accurate for roughly 95% of the calculations you'll ever need to make (if not more). It looks a little clunky, though, and I'm looking to make it a little more user-friendly. It's worth the look IMO.

I actually meant an IV calculator.

If i have a poke that knows both imprison and transform, can i imprision 1st, then transform and force my opponent to struggle?

Yep, Smeargle use that moveset rarely, but it can be done.

Adding Mean Look and Baton Pass to that set, as well as adding a strong defensive tank makes your opponent kill itself while you set up.

Thanks for catching a lethargic error Naxte. ;]

Err... Struggle is Typeless, and not Normal, so Ghost-types aren't immune to it, if that's what you mean.

Okay, probably a tough question..

What's a solid Pokemon [maybe even lead] that can handle Suicune AND Drapion.

????

What's the point of Extended Game Clause now, since everything that was Extended has now been released. Are we technically allowed to use Arceus in Uber ladder now?

Does no one have an answer? Are these Pokemon just too awesome for one Pokemon to handle?

Well generally bulky grounds are relied on to beat drapion and special walls and bulky grass and water types are relied on for beating suicune. They are countered by very different pokemon. Although a snorax with earthquake has a good chance against them both.

A faster Zapdos should come out on top against both of those. Vaporeon with HP Electric or Roar can also handle them, although you run the risk of Drapion poisoning it. As for leads, Roserade doesn't exactly counter both, but it can scare off Drapion with Sleep Powder, and HP Ground hits it pretty hard.

What with all the threads I've seen about RNG abuse here and on other forums I have to be dumb and ask:

What is RNG abuse and how does it work?

I dont know if this goes here but can anyone tell me how to get 4 moves onto a level 1 smeargle? Is it possible to pass moves from the parent to the offspring of a smeargle?

Take it to the Move Relearner in Pastoria and have it Relearn Sketch. Then have it Sketch another move. Rinse and repeat for the last two slots.
