I would believe so as I've never heard of it. Mamoswine is generally considered to be better than Weavile because Ice+Ground is an excellent offensive combo and it allows it to only take 12.5% from Stealth Rock
Yes, but would you agree it functions more as an Ice-type than Weavile? Weavile seems like a generic Dark-type to most people...
BTW Scizor, how come the OU tier has so many Steel-types? What made this? "Best defensive type in the game" may be one reason, but...

If a sudowoodo falls in the woods and nobody is around...

...is it still a stupid rock type and not Grass like it should be? XD

Just being stupid. ;P

But seriously. Is there a separate Doubles Battle Me thread somewhere I just haven't seen yet? It kind of looks like the Battle Me thread is usually full of singlebattlers. If I ask at like 4:00 I can go till like 10:00 and be lucky to get 2 double battles there :/

I'm thinking about making a TR team, but I realize that it will have issues with stall teams. Is there a way for a TR team to be able to defeat stall teams without necessarily being geared towards defeating (basically, being able to take on regular teams also) or are you screwed bring a TR team to a fight with a stall team?

Also, what is the viability of Gravity in competitive pokemon (if TR doesn't pan out, I want to maybe try one of these) especially if I don't use Jirachi?

Just wondering...
If I have a Flawless Ditto with 31 IVs in everything and breed it with something will the offspring always have 31 in everything or a mixture of 31s and what ever IVs the Parent had??

Also if i breed a Hippopotas to get Slack Off which is an egg move and then breed the Hippopotas with Slack Off with a Ditto will the offspring of the Slack Off Hippo and Ditto have Slack Off??

Sorry that there are two questions but Im confused lol.
Thank You for any help.

If you want to make a TR team that can deal with stall, I suggest you use Nidoking. It's an amazing stall breaker with the moveset of Ice Beam/Megahorn/Earthquake/Fire Blast as it beats up all of the common stall Pokemon. It's also quite slow, you should try it.

When you breed two pokemon in 4th gen the offspring will inherit up to a total of three IVs from its parents, selected randomly. It is possible to inherit only two or even just one.

As for the egg moves, this is courtesy of Bulbapedia:
  1. If both parents know one or more moves that their offspring could learn by leveling up, the offspring will have that move.
  2. If the male Pokémon knows a TM or HM move that the offspring can learn, the offspring will have that move.
  3. If the male Pokémon knows a move that the offspring can learn only by breeding. For example, if a male Dragonite knowing Outrage is bred with a female Charizard, the resulting Charmander will know Outrage.
More info can be found here:http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/breeding_guide_part1

EDIT: This pokedex is also an excellent resource for finding out exactly how a given pokemon learns a particular move, including egg moves: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/

Does anybody know how many teams the Hall of Fame can hold? I've been running through the Elite Four a few times and was just wondering. Does it start to overwrite old entries after awhile?

On Shoddy, when Revenge is selected by Sleep Talk it doesn't do any damage. Is this a glitch, or does this happen on WiFi too?

It's probably a glitch, the only thing ST does to Revenge is bypass its negative priority and make it 0.

Should I keep this Azelf?

Modest
HP - 17
ATK -23
DEF - 11
SPA - 17
SPD - 21
SPE - 31

I was going for a timid Azelf but since this one has a good SPE IV, maybe it's worth keeping. Or should I try again for a timid-natured one for the Plot Sweeper set-up?

I need help with a EV spread for a Mixed Attacker Lucario and I was unable to get HP ICE. Will eventually be used on a team and would like to be able to hit hard across both spectrums.

??? ATK/??? SP.ATK/252 Speed

IVs
HP 15/ATK 31/DEF 05/SP.ATK 31/SP.DEF 26/Speed 31
Hidden Power - Dark 67

Close Combat
Shadow Ball

what is a good mixed wall in OU?

Bronzong is a good one since it can take hits reasonably well on both sides.

Blissey can take physical hits to a certain extent, but not the powerful physical attacks such as Salamence's Outrage and the like.

Cresselia is also an amazing mixed wall with its huge defensive stats, and it has a lot of good support moves and it has the ability to sweep with Calm Mind or Charge Beam.

Those are pretty much the big ones that you can use.

thankyou very much :)

can nintendo tell if a pokemon's parents where caught using a wild pokemon modifier?

Probably. The most common thing that anyone can see is where it's caught. It's probably even more obvious for Game Freak, since they made the game. I don't know if they have any other way of hack checking though.

Just use berries to 'reset' the EVs to zero and start fresh . . . or just if you are going with a 255 / 255 spread don't worry about it and just keep battlin those gayras.
