I go into the movies with a mindset of watching a simple, if predictable movie, that I can enjoy as a guilty pleasure. With pokemon fighting each other and a silly story. So I'm willing to go into the Zoroark movie with an open mind. I'm interested in what made it so bad.

Only one that really burned me was the Manaphy movie. So annoying! Jirachi's was saved thanks to the forest sequence.

Arceus movie was okay, but should have done more with the dragons then just kind of being there.

Lucario, Darkrai, and Shaymin are probably my favorite of the movies.

That's the thing, no one knows!
I don't think anyone who has actually seen the thing has written anything about it.
 
I haven't really liked the anime much since Johto. I actually liked most of the filler episodes at that time and they weren't basically a rehash of old episode ideas. Advance had less filler episodes because May was doing contests that lasted for multiple episodes and most of the filler episodes involved May pretending she was on an expedition team. DP is basically everyone saying "No need to worry" and "That's when I worry the most" all the time.

actually, I watched it a long time ago (probably the year it came out) and I rather liked it. or at least I remember liking it... I didn't hate it, I know that.

I liked the first three (mainly only because of nostalgia, though Pokemon 3 was one I enjoyed regardless), I didn't really like Mewtwo Returns much, and I liked Heroes a lot when I watched it several years ago. I think the only other one I've seen was Giratina, which I though was alright.

EDIT: I also watched the one with Celebi, which I really didn't like much.

Not really.

I won't defend the anime to the point of being ~amazing~ but DP is probably the best "series". "no need to worry/that's when I worry the most" isn't brought up nearly that much.

Neither was May's expedition team, for that matter.

oh. I'm stupid. I got the names mixed up. I didn't like Mewtwo RETURNS.

... wait, I didn't like the first movie either, outside of nostalgia.
 
The first movie, the Entei/Unown movie, and the Lugia movie were all great. Celebi/Suicune movie was decent, and Lucario/Mew movie was pretty cool but not up to the caliber of the first 3 mentioned. I have yet to see any others, but I plan on watching 'em all sometime.
 
i dont see how ash being turned into stone then come back to normal all because he is retarded is better then any of the moves from gen 3 and 4. the movies are correct this time around, a normal trainer like ash would never stand a chance VS a legendary pokemon(mewtwo, entei, etc) but he still tried, these days he dont even bother to fight them anymore cause EVERYONE know he dont stand a chance. the best he did was a t-bolt with pikachu VS arceus what barely did a shit.

Lol I liked it too (deoxys that is). It was forever ago, so I don't know if would like it now, but I loved it when it came out.
 
Regarding competitive battling once this game comes out, we should just un-ban all past suspects and ubers (That aren't the big baddies that are obviously going to overcentralize, such as Palkia, Giratina, Kyorge, etc). Like Manaphy, Shaymin-S, Latias+Latios, etc. >_> Salamence, Garchomp... Gotta shape the new metagame somehow. I wonder how it will shift... As long as we don't get a slow stall metagame like Gen2 :|
 
Not that it will be the only metagame played (lol) but in the case of 3X3, I do believe stall is dead. It was hard enough in 2X2.

Every once-suspect pokémon got banned by either the Offense or Support characteristic; having all of them unbanned will already shift the metagame so much towards offense it will be pretty difficult (I'd say impossible) for it to be as stallish as GSC, even taking into account B/W will be a new generation and all.


And I'm taking Deoxys-D into account too.

Personally, I think it might be more balanced. The more options you have to choose from, the less likely one strategy will reign supreme.
 
i dont agree at all with this. mence tier will be decided before BW come out so he will either be uber or OU by the time. all ubers should continue to be ubers until the BW metagame become stable.

once the BW metagame become stable we can check how some ubers like chomp, latias(and maybe even mence) do around OU and decide they tiers. let all pokemons be free to mess around OU will just destroy the metagame on the first 10 minutes.
 
Well if we did that, the change would be unthinkable I mean that makes so much pokemon useless and because of that they would drift into UU be deemed broken and go to BL causing the BL tier to come back down again.
