Any good Excadrill counters? I was looking through Serebii and couldn't think of many (I briefly considered Torterra, but that's weak to X-Scissor). . .

Band/SD Techniloom when it's released, your own Sand Rush Jolly Balloon Excadrill, CB Azumarill, or Guts activated + Bulk Up Conkeldurr (As vaguely suggested 2 posts above this one)

@ Darkblader - I believe the Petilil and Cottonee both always have Modest natures and 20/20/20/31/20/20 IV's, but I'm not sure about the other Pokemon

Looking for people's trade threads to find some good RNGd Pokemon. I got a Landorus, The Musketeer Trio and an Ulgamoth to trade and I'm looking to find some good Rayquaza's and possibly other Pokemon. Anyone know where to redirect me, as I only have done giveaways in the past.

I just didn't know it was allowed.

Also I have a question, can someone help me evolve my Boldore? (Asking here since WiFi forum is down IIRC)
Thanks for the heads about about that. :)

I can help you out with your Boldore. Alternatively, you could trade your Boldore for another Boldore over the GTS.

But, my Boldore is RNG'ed, since it's Brave, shiny, has 31/30/30/30/30/30 IV's, and is an EV'ed level 50 at the moment so I don't think I'll be trading it on the GTS lol

Hi, does breeding in BW work the same way it did in Platinum in terms of IV inheritance? As in, does it still work like this: during the first IV pass, you pick an IV of any stat from either parent to the offspring, then to any non-HP stat, then to any non-HP and non-DEF stat.

Also, how do Power Items affect the IV inheritance? For example, I have given a Power Weight (which I believe corresponds to HP) to parent A and breeding it with parent B. When determining the IV of the offspring, does the power Weight give the HP IV of parent A to the offspring and choose 3 random IV's, or does it carry over the HP IV and 2 other random IV's?

Also, is it possible to pass on two IV's if both parents hold the Power items?

Is anyone able to help me transfer some pokemon from my platinum to my white version??
You'll probably need another DS to do that.
You may already know this, but the only way someone else could do that, is for you to trade them from your Gen 4 game to someone else's, then have them migrate them to their Gen 5 game, then have them trade them to your Gen 5 game.

That's a bit much work for me, I'm afraid.

is iv breeding just trail and error? i cant seem to get 4 stats perfect only 3 what im i doing wrong help

Pretty much. Assuming that the breeding mechanics in BW are identical to DPPtHGSS, 3 IV's are passed down from parents (they may overlap). The IV's for the remaining stats are random.

so should i just keep bredding three perfect stat pokemon with each other? also how is it possible to do that and get hidden power like the hight base of HPice?

luck or learn how to RNG (and unless you are extremly lucky learning how to RNG will be the fastest solution in the long term)

It's been a while since I've been breeding, but if you want to transfer specific IV's, you should consider using Power items (Power Anklet, Power Weight, Power Bracer, etc). When a parent holds one of these, it has a high chance of passing down the IV in the stat that corresponds with the item. For example, if parent A holds the Power Weight (corresponding to HP), then the child will have a high chance to inherit that IV.

From my experiences, if you're not RNG abusing, breeding takes perseverence; it took me a while to breed a decent Litwick (Timid with 31/22/20/31/26/31).

i know about the power items im just asking is it reallly that tedious to get perfect in 5 out of the 6 stats and HP is worst cuz one or two have to be odd or even for high base power

Yeah it is tedious. Like BurningMan said, breeding boils down to luck (and really good luck).

Why would you need to know that?

I was given a file by a friend with a large amount of flawless pokemon RNG'd (on an emulator I'm assuming). I can't extract the files myself, so I'll need some help with this. If you can help, let me know and I'll send you an e-mail with the files.
