Is it true you can use rare candies after your ev training is done? Like they wont do any harm.

I've heard that using a rare candy after the EV training will ignore the efforts your pokemon got.

Example: You have a lvl 40 heracross with max spd, if it got lvl 41 by training, it would get +3 spd, but if you give it a rare candy, it'll receive +2, like if you hadn't trained its spd.(random numbers)

So no, they'll do harm

After EV training is done, you get the same boost from Rare Candying a level as you would if you battled other Pokemon, so yes, using Rare Candies after you finish EVing won't have any negative effects.

Ok... I'll finish training EVs of a couple of pokemon and then I'll level them up with/without rare candy and post the results, I'm not sure about if it'll work or not, so it's better to test.

How are these EVs for my subpunch Draggy?
248hp/138atk/120spd
This gives him four 95hp subs(with 29iv), while having enough speed to outrun jolly tyranitar along with standard gyarados.

You can find it in the Turnback cave, after getting the national dex. The Turnback Cave is inside of the Sendoff Spring, on route 214. You better bring a Master Ball, because Giratina is a lot more difficult to catch than Dialga/Palkia, it's really annoying.

No Guard does not, repeat, does NOT work for your partner in double battles, much to everyone's sadness.

You can, however, attempt to hax your opponent by skill swapping it around.

I'm currently trying to Sketch Pursuit and Ice Punch onto my Smeargle. Where are double battles that I can do this? VS Seeker doesn't work

Vs. seeker does work, use it anywhere there are two people, like above the daycare center.

Sketch your partner, sketch your partner, sketch your partner........

Supposedly one is able to get Pokémon from previous generations in the Safari Zone after you get the National Pokédex. Unfortunately, I haven't found a single one while searching, nor in the binoculars.

Any help?

I heard something about the Great Marsh/Safari Zone changing its pokemon daily. Maybe you just got unlucky today and dont see anything pre-4th gen

Alright, I have a question about Garchomp. With 27 speed IVs and a nature that doesn't affect speed, how much Speed EVs should it have with a Choice Scarf?

What about without a Choice Scarf?

Anyone? I really need to know before I start to EV it

edit- the items are on wild Elekid and Magby (respectively, of course). Apparently its pretty rare though; my friend got 8 magby and none of the item

If you mean max, its stats would be:
299 without Choice Scarf
448 with Choice Scarf

Anyway, how many EVs you give it depends on what you want it to outspeed. IMO, rebreed to get one with at least a 28 IV, so it can outspeed neutral base 100s.

where does one obtain the electrizer and the magmatizer (the items that let electabuzz and magmar evolve)

You get it by inserting Fire red (elekid) and Leaf Green (Magby), then going to the route where they appear only when the gba game is inserted and catch one, there is a small chance it will be holding the item that evolves it, respectivly elekid has elec. and Magby has mag.

i was wondering what is focus bomb and pulse bomb

Focus bomb is the japanese name for Focus Blast and Pulse Bomb is the Jap. name for Aura Sphere.

Is pal parking limited by DS-Game or just game? For example, can my brother and I (two DSes) transfer with the same emerald pack in the same day? Like is it DS A cannot transfer with game A, or can game A not transfer with any DSes after one?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's limited by the game cart, but I'm not 100% sure. The time on your game has to line up with the time on your DS to be able to transfer. On the other hand, if you have 2 copies of Diamond/Pearl, you can transfer twice from the same GBA game.

Does Leaf Guard vs Chlorophyll on a Tangrowth really matter for a team that's not likely to see much, if any Sunny Day? I'd rather breed in emerald.
