So.... BoltBeam is just using Ice Beam and Thunderbolt? Why is it so special then?
And... Sandstorms increase the Special Defense of what types?

It's "special" because there are hardly any Pokemon who are resistant to both. This means that a 'boltbeamer' can reliably damage nearly any Pokemon.

Sandstorms increase the Special Defense of Rock types only, by 50%.
 
Do those berrys that say they increase happyness but lowers a stat just lower Ev's. And if that's so could I in theory go back and erase the EV stats of my non EV trained pokes and then re-EV train them?
 
It hits everything for neutral or better except Lanturn, Magnezone, and Shedinja

edit- yes, you can get rid of the EVs on something that isn't EV trained, and then EV train it

Yes they lower 10 EVs for each berry you feed it or if the EVs are higher than 110 then it drops to 110, so basically yes for the second question
 
will having more than one pokemon with magma armor/flame body reduce the number of steps than having only one? or will they both result amount of steps no matter how many pokemon with magma armor/flame body that you have.
 
Can pokemon be re-EVed after reaching level 100? I know using the berries will lower stats... but can the poke gain EVs after that?
 
No because you don't gain Exp.

Should I go Donphan or Skarmory with this team:

Tangrowth/Weavile/Infernape/Electivire/Vaporeon

Intending for whomever to have stealth rock and take physical hits.

Can you only pass Wish with baton pass? Or can you just chance pokemon normally and still receive the effect of wish?

You can switch out and still get the effect of Wish on whatever you switch to


For my own question: For the Physical Jirachi, would Careful work? Someone I know has a Careful one, and you cant do a Calm Mind Jirachi with that, but I think (and hope) the Physical would still work (Wish/U-Turn/Zen Headbutt/Reflect)
 
If I use a different DS to connect to Wifi would I just get a new fc because the botom screen on my DS broke and i was wondering what would happen if I got a new one
 
Okay, when you leave a Pokémon in the daycare and it learns its level up moves, the older moves are deleted. But in what order, top gets deleted first or bottom?

Is it worth maxing Starmie's Speed in D/P to tie with max Azelf? We always went for the lovely 352 number in ADV with a bit of HP/Def to take that +1 Salamence/Gyarados Hp Flying. Yet now most Salamence are special and most Gyarados don't run max attack, so shall I just pump speed?

I want to get my math right.

If I keep training my Elekid with Sheltin on Route 213, he's got 3 Gyrados, which is (6 ATck EV) in all, right? So if it's got Pokerus, then that would double to getting (12 Atck EV) every battle. And then, if he's holding Macho Brace, that would double to 24? Or just add to 18?
