Does a Burn Orb, in inflicting burn status, halve the attack damage of the pokemon holding it?
And does a Toxic Orb inflict toxic poisoning (i.e, a Breloom holding it will eventually heal 1/4 and then 1/2 it's HP in 1 turn?
Burn Orb acts identical to standard Burn. Attack is halved without Guts ability (Or Hyper Cutter? Not sure)
Toxic Orb is Toxic damage, but both Toxic and Regular poison heal a set 1/16 of Breloom's HP.

Though, it should increase, stupid Gamefreak. Free 1/2 heal every turn until you switch is totally not unfair at all [/sarcasm]

What do I need to breed to get Energy Ball on Vulpix?

Stantler that knows it as a TM->Vulpix or Smeargle that has Sketched it. IMO, get a pokemon that learns it naturally (Lileep/Cradily) is the only one that comes to mind and get Smeargle to sketch it to save your TM.

Ice is the only type immune to hail.

Poison Heal heals 1/8 of Breloom's HP (regardless of type of Poison) iirc making it superior to Leftovers when Poisoned.

IMO, Pokemon are classified as either offensive, defensive, or mixed and that most terms (Psuedo Passer, Choice User, Cleric, etc) fall under those categories.

Anyone know if you can reset for getting Pikachus you get in PBR? I want to know if I can get one with a Good nature and IVs, or if you have to beat the game multiple times for it.

EDIT: Crap, just read that they all come as Hardy... but does anyone know if you can get good IVs on it?

Does the Unburden speed boost keep in effect if you Recycle back your item?

Edit: Also, how is this EV spread for these IVs on a Drifblim?

HP: 18
Att: 23
Def: 31
SpA: 0
SpD: 23
Speed: 9

HP: 202
Atk: 50
Def: 100
Sp. Atk: 0
Sp. Def: 52
Speed: 96

How do I interpret speed priority numbers on moves (both "quick" moves like Extremespeed and "slow" moves like Counter)?

Doval's question is kind of like the one I'm gonna ask...If two pokemon use Ice Shard, which one goes first?

The one with the higher speed, as far as I've seen.

Think of it this way:

Man X applies for a job, and has quality A(Quick Attack-esque move), which puts him as "High Priority" for hiring. Man Y applies for the same job, and has Quality A, which puts him as "High Priority." But he also has quality B(higher speed), so HE gets hired.

Did that make sense?

The faster one goes first if both use a priority move.

As to the questions, to interrupt priority moves, you must also use a priority move, and be faster/slower (depending on the move) than your opponent. I'm not sure about Protect/Detect though.

I'm almost positive there is no way to interrupt Protect/Detect.

Two questions

1.) If I'm in the Great Marsh and have a synchronrizer in the front of my party do i still have the 50% chance of finding a wild poke with the same nature?

2.) When Pick-up farming do i actually have to battle or could i just run around?

Well, Feint hits through it and leaves the Protect user open to further attacks, but I'm not sure if Feint goes before Protect or what.

Still, how do I make sense of these numbers? Mach Punch has speed Priority 1, Detect has 3. I assume the one with higher number goes first? But then what about things like Counter (251) and Vital Throw (255) that are in the 250 range?

1. Yes
2. You have to battle, and win the battle. You just can't run away. You don't need to use the person with pickup in the battle though.

Those are probably just numbers they assigned as they went. In other words, no real order.

These are the Effect Number. Programming issues, don't worry about them.

The move with the highest priority will go first. If both moves have the same priority, the faster user will attack first.

Ah, I see. What's slower between Focus Punch and Counter, then?

Also, is there any point to watering berries after they become pickable? >.>;

Does it matter if I evolve Feebas into Milotic at later levels than earlier? It's currently level 8 with good nature/IV's, but I could get a level 1 Feebas through breeding. Advice please and thanks.
