When you look at Archeops you see sky high attacks and speed, then the lacking defences and a horrible ability. This set is designed as a lure to kill its usual counters by using the Passho Berry, that weakens super effective water type hits. This is the most optimum ev spread as you need +speed to speed tie with cinccino and 4hp to insure you to not get knocked down to defeatist by kabutops passho aqua jet. Earth power is for steelix but u-turn gives nice momentum and taunt makes it a great for a lead, especially with U-turn, making it a scout whilst roost is good for getting to full health and above defeatist range. (gatr does beat archeops but you can taunt him as he swords dances and do about half to him, also he cannot switch in as hp grass does around the same)
Earth power beats steelix (if sturdy is broken), you speed tie with cinccino and ohko after stealth rocks and hp grass okhos omaster.
