Pokémon XY Leaks

Be nice if there were more posts about actual leaks, rather than genetics for beginners.

Been really good reading through this thread, am psyched for next weekend, though I do find myself asking why my local shop didn't break release date.

Just got here, has this been posted?
Stats for Greninja:

By definition, the electric force on a charged body is exerted by the electric field created by other charged body. In other words, when Magneton use Electric Terrain, it is highly likely that Magneton set up the electric field which in turn exerts a force on the opponent Pokemon equal to the magnitude of the Electric Field times the point charge. Since E = F/q, it follows that F=Eq and the damage done is the calculate values due to base stats, move power, STAB, and other modifiers multiply by the effect due to the electric field. Since q is in units of coulomb, it is likely that only electric move (q) will receive a boost from the field.

uh yeah so it boost electric moves, maybe nerfs a type and does some other random stuff like makes charge 3x more powerful and thunder blows shit up or something. God know what else you were going on about but it's Pokemon so it is most likely not that complicated. At all.

Stats for Greninja:
That's interesting. When I first saw Greninja I thought he would be a fast physical attacker. I can't really tell what his nature is though. I just can't see his movepool consisting of too many good special-based moves. But hey. It's gamefreak we're talking about here. Anything could happen

I feel like by making Water Shuriken physical they really want to push for Greninja to be a mixed attacker. Let's hope it has a nice boosting move to fall back on.

I wish i could skip forward a week, mainly because all these leaks make me want to play the games even more.

I just want that feeling of adventure again, mainly.

I hear that there was lots of mention about the Sinnoh region early on in the game's story. Thats pretty exciting for me mainly because the Gen 4 Sinnoh games were pretty much the most enjoyable for me, so hopefully X and try to replicate the feeling that the games gave me.

Correct fact, correct reason: In the interview, they said X Y were coordinates, so Pokemon will not have Z.
Incorrect fact, wrong reason: Choromosomes Z W doesn't exist, so Pokemon will not have Z and W.

Done.

You know there is a Z axis too right? X and Y being coordinates makes Z more probable

I actually hope there isn't a separate game if there IS a z legendary, partly for the reason that it makes me feel that I should have waited for it. I'd prefer a X2/Y2 if ANY sort of add-on.Im just curious as to what they're gonna do for Gen 7 already haha

I think "Rebirth" would be a wanted theme here. Well, Ho-oh is already a Phoenix, isn't it? Meh. I'm really just waiting for some interesting DW abilities (Especially for the starters. TrollFreak will probably give Pickpocket for Greninja).
There isn't any dream world yet and probably won't be considering they are taking all the dream world points from last gen's game and are converting them to some sort of currency or points for some other new mechanic the game has

Thank god. If they end up pulling another money grubbing stunt like that I'll lose all faith.

You realize we still don't have all gen 5 d/w abilities right? Now we're getting a new game. :/

Don't know if this has been posted before but

Apparently this means it's a fast special sweeper, from what I've heard. It seems to match with the inner shape and fitting for a small fairy. Only problem is, there's no clue on what those shapes mean. The outer one is EVs, and the inner one is...?

For comparison, here are Pikachu's and Mewtwo's screenshots

The stat distributions seem to match well enough in proportion to its base stats. Can't tell if these are actual stats though, and if so, what level? Mewtwo should be at least Lv.70 I would think, but then again these are demo screenshots

According to the 4chan leaker, Floette learns a move called Light Ray, a Grass-type move that also does Electric damage. I haven't been able to find a screenshot for this.

(Sorry about being late, if I am)

Dream world is by far the dumbest thing game freak has ever done and the way they gave out the abilities was dumb also

Meet kyogre god of the sea! capable of changing the weather and flooding the entire world. Oh wait apparently this little toad is capable of doing this as well....

Couldn't find this mentioned in the roundup post but Doublade is confirmed to have a third evo Aegislash and it's a split evo too having a Blade form and Shield form.

Hell to the m-effin yes!

I'm loving this game already and I don't even have it! My only beef is it seems like they made the game baby mode easy to play through with mega evos, how exp works, and exp share is cheap as hell now. Also I don't care for the exp share mechanics from a competitive stand point ev training is gonna be bleh

Any updates on the following?

1- The item that changes a pokemon's ability. This was mentioned by an NPC in a pic.

2- Which Megastones can be found in that cave. Can the Kanto starter stones appear there (or will I have to replay the game FOUR times to get all of them TT_TT)?

3- Is Ditto confirmed to be in any of the dexes so far (or will we have to reset for female starters)?

So what does that electric weather move actually do?
Does it just boost electric moves? What else?

And will it be a viable strategy without an automated inducer?

From what I heard from Josh (one of the 4chan leakers) all it does is make electric attacks hit like a rock. And apparently it's the weather that makes Thunder 100% accurate, not rain. No confirmation on either of those, though.

EDIT: And it apparently it triggers effects like Volt Absorb and Lightningrod.

Any word on this generation's pseudo-legendary?
Goodra and Aegislash seem to be the prime candidates for that position.

According to a Kotaku review there's a Ground/Fairy and a Ground/Ghost that's late in the game. Maybe (one of) those are the pseudos? I really would like a pseudo that's not a dragon for once.

Actually no. I just want a fairy that I can get behind. Most of the new ones have been underwhelming so far...

What are you talking about?
I just love the Key and Geode fairies, and Flabebe's final evo rocks, especially if it ends up to be Fairy/Grass.

I like Keybro and Flowerbro too. But still, Steel and Dark got powerful stuff like Skarmory and Tyranitar from the beginning. It would be a shame if we didn't have a fairy equivalent.

Still, we're nearing the end of the Mountain Dex and there's probably more fairy retcons to come, and maybe Florges will be the speedy fairy I've wanted, who knows. I still have hope yet.

I personally want to know what the Psuedo is as well. Would also like a non dragon one..last ones were Tyranitar and Metagross in Gen II/III respectively.
