The above post is very vague.

When you've received a certain item from a real-life event, a bridge opens up that will lead you to Shaymin there.

Well for Infernape, you need 333 attack, assuming minimum defense, and 4 HP. As for Magnezone you only need 288, assuming Max HP, and no Defense. Also note that both calculations are average KOs. Meaning that with those numbers, you will KO 50% of the time.

Can I still EV-train a lvl 100 poke in DP or is it only possible in RSFLE?
IIRC This wasn't possible in RSE/FRLG either, only in the first two gens.

Does species clause apply to different forms of deoxys?
ie. having an attack and defense form on the same team.
I'm afraid so.Altough I think it's pretty stupid, the defensive and offensive form are just as different as suicune and alakazam.

Figuring out iv's

Just need to get this round my thick head. Ok i catch a wild pokemon and i have never used it in any battle. I do a check of its iv's using a calculator. It spread says could be 30-31 ivs. What is the easiest way to establish if its going to have 30 or 31 in a stat. I've read you can use rare candies. My question is so you use ..x.. ammount of rare candies. Do you then input stats as it gains levels on the calculator. So say for example i use ten rare candies the pokemon goes from level 25 to 35 and i establish it has 31ivs. Then do i not save the game ( and save the rare candies for another pokemon) and start ev training pokemon or do i use up the rare candies and ev train from its new level. Im trying to get magnezone with hidden power so need to know if 30 or 31 evs in stats.
Thanks for any help cheers

First off, have the Rare Candies and tester with you, then save.

Then use Rare Candies and imput the stats. When you get the solid IV's, turn off the game so you don't lose any Rare Candies.

Then you're free to EV train, AND test something else.

Just be sure to save before you test.

Thanks for your response i'm new to breeding ivs and ev training before just beat elite four and restarted games with new starters. I've found it hard to get my head around the use of rare candies as i've read they are bad until you have fully ev trained your pokemon. So wasnt sure if using them to check low level pokemon was possible. i think i've got it now thanks again peachy
