Instacheck Hotspot -- a fast Pokémon checker for XY

Been a few hours and it seems I got buried with the shiny value requests, so let me try again. If anyone has any ideas or solutions, feel free to shoot them my way.

"I'm still looking for assistance in regards to the "The hosted network couldn't be started. The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.” message I get in both cdm.exe and Instacheck. I am on Windows 7, 64 bit mode. I'm on a desktop, and I'm typically connected to the internet through my Ethernet cord. I acquired a wifi adapater card yesterday strictly for this purpose.

To date, I have tried:
~ "try this go to control panel, network and internet, network and sharing center,to the left it should say change adapter settings there should be a connection being yours then another connection most likely with a 2 disable that connection then enable that connection and it should work. depending on the situation it might not work for everyone.". I have done this both in the device manager and network and sharing center.
~ Various CDM.exe prompts, including: "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow", "netsh wlan start hostednetwork"(This is the one I get the ""The hosted network couldn't be started. The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.”"), "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=pokecheck key=pokecheck"
~ I've checked to verify that my wifi adapter card supports Hosted Network Support. It does.
~ Updated my drivers in the device manager. Windows says it's the latest version.
~ Google said to ensure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is checked. It is.
~ "You need to turn on your WLAN service. To do this, simply: Windows 7 Go to Start, Search, and type in services.msc Go down to WLAN Auto Config, double click it to open Under Startup Type, select Automatic Under Service Status, Click the Start button"
~ Reset the desktop countless times
~ Disabled the anti-virus program which also doubles as my firewall.

Things I haven't tried:
~ "Make sure you have the latest drivers for Microsoft Virtual WIFI Miniport.
To check go to the start menu
then you right click on computer
click manage ---> Device Manager
Then network adapters. Make sure that the virtual miniport is updated and installed."
I don't see anything like that.

~Do you have your Microsoft Virtual wifi miniport enabled? Check your adapter settings in network and sharing center."
Don't see anything in my adapter settings about that. It's just displaying my Ethernet connection, and my wireless card which isn't connected to anything right now.

I have a guess it has something to do with the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport not showing up, but I haven't been able to find a solution for that. Anyone have any other suggestions I can try?"

Have you tried going to Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> Whichever wireless card you're using -> Advanced Settings -> Adhoc connections -> Enable? When I restart/sleep my miniport doesn't show up until I do that for some reason.

Also, when I try to enable the Wireless Connection 2, my computer Blue Screens... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. XD
Ummmmmmmmm.... yeah thats a pretty bad sign. Is it a 'Stop error' or a blank blue screen?
Either way you have a serious issue with your Computer. Is it Windows XP? Because XP is untested and the program just crashes on my XP computer.

Finally got mine to work...it was a simple matter of installing WinPCap >.> *facepalm*
I find in IT we often look over the smallest problems and search for big ones. So don't feel bad <3

Hate to ask the obvious, but did you download and install the Virtual hotspot software?
http://www.winpcap.org/install/bin/WinPcap_4_1_3.exe ?

It looks like I did. I allowed it to rewrite its previous install, then rebooted. Still no go. I'm going to uninstall and do a fresh install and see if I get more favorable results.

Not sure if it helps, but here's a screenshot of some of the various things;

Nevermind, I just got it to work :D Apparently, The drivers lied to me when they said they were updated, everything is working now. Thank you so much for your help.

Don't feel too bad I rage quit last night trying to get it to work and this morning realized what was wrong[didn't install WinPCap]!

Lol, someone should edit that into the very start of the first post **MUST INSTALL WINPCAP, NOT THE SAME AS WINZIP** I thought it was something similar to WinZip and didn't install it XD

I actually encountered a similar issue myself.
Can you please get me a full screenshot of everything displayed when you do a 'netsh wlan show drivers' in CMD

Yeah, I knew that was pretty bad. lol, But can you give me a step by step list of what to do? I downloaded all the programs, I just don't know what to do from there.
I'll try for sure but I bare no responsibility in what may happen to your computer. Stop errors are pretty serious. Can we start by telling me what version of windows we're working with?

I have my ethernet cable ( the one connected directly from my computer to the router ) , WIRELESS disabled. My Virtual hotspot works for my 3DS and the connection test passes. However, when I attempt to connect to the internet via my Pokemon X , it doesn't connect and says the server has an error and I was required to try again later. After many attempts, I still can't. Any can help me?

I have built-in wireless :)

It was my fault, I don't blame you lol. Everything is fine, I was just trying to run something that was apparently horribly outdated, even though it said it was up to date. I updated, and everything is working amazingly, so thank you for all your help :D

I run Avast as well and have no issues O_o
It's not that Avast is the problem, it's the firewall is blocking that connection. I see that error A LOT in my job, and it's almost always AVG, Avast or Norton that caused it :)

Oh good! I'm so glad! that coulda been a serious can of worms lol

Well, I disabled it and the error still occurs DDDD:
I don't know what to do, I think I'm the only one who have this problem.

Don't panic, you're just going to have to manually add it as an exception. Please stand by

Did you install WinPCap? That was my issue when trying to connect in game.

You have open a trade with someone and select the egg while instacheck is scanning.

Ohhh so you basically trade someone and select the egg and it'll show it, but can you trade eggs though?

edit: nvm, of course you can trade eggs >.> that's what this whole shiny hatching thing is about *facedesk*

First off, I greatly appreciate you trying to assist me. I've been finding myself quite frustrated at being unable to find any conclusive answers. And sure. Here you go.

Unfortunately, I have to leave for an hour. So, much thanks in advanced for any other solutions.
