The great defenses and reasonable special attack are tempting me to keep it....should I?

When you're hatching for Manaphy, will you have to check its summary to see if its shiny? Or is it like hatching any other shiny Pokemon (the Pokemon will appear shiny when it hatches from the egg, but no stars will go around it)?

How do you find out how much of a stat change is actually happening with moves such as nasty plot and swords dance? if it is off a website posting the link would help!

I can already tell this is going to get swamped, so... bump?

I'd say Mixed is the best if you aren't going for Choice Scarf. Admittedly, I'm biased against Choice Scarf, since I used to use one, but a physical Choice Scarf Infernape can surprise a lot of things.

Basically, stats raise and lower in stages.

Each stat starts at +0 whenever a pokemon comes in.

A normal 'rose/fell' message (Howl, Intimidate, Growl, Speed Boost, etc.) is one stage. A 'sharply/harshly' message (Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Agility, Charm, etc.) is two stages.

+1 = x1.5
+2 = x2.0
+3 = x2.5
...

Etcetera. Also, you can't go past +/-6.

Can you put the Draco Plate on Arceus, teach it Draco Meteor, then take it off for a different typed Arceus with Draco Meteor?

Why does god hate me?

Um....because you have a hacked Gardevoir? Maybe because you are named after a series of videogames...or something.

EDIT: LOL!!! This compares with your Cresselia a few pages back.

I know. I gave up on cressy - still haven't caught one... I'll get back to it eventually.

Should I keep it?

Is it worth buying back a copy of emerald to be (or try to be) highly competitive in diamond/pearl?

Not sure I made myself clear :/

In other words, what are the big advantages of having emerald with D or P

You can clone infinite number of TMs 1-50. You can clone infinite berries and items. Possibly the best advantage is getting moves from the tutors in that game, such as Ice Punch, ThunderPunch, Seismic Toss, etc... Its really up to you to buy Emerald or not.

I found it easiest to understand when explained thusly:

0 (zero) stage as a fraction, 2/2 = 1, no stat gain or loss

Each increase in a stat is equal to increasing the numerator by 1, so that:

1 stage = 3/2 = 1.5x
2 stage = 4/2 = 2.0x
3 stage = 5/2 = 2.5x
4 stage = 6/2 = 3.0x
5 stage = 7/2 = 3.5x
6 stage = 8/2 = 4.0x

And each decrease will decrease the numerator by 1 until it reaches 2, and then increase the denominator by 1 for each stage decrease, so that:

-1 stage = 2/3 = 0.666....
-2 stage = 2/4 = 0.5
-3 stage = 2/5 = 0.4
-4 stage = 2/6 = 0.333...
-5 stage = 2/7 = ~0.29
-6 stage = 2/8 = 0.25

And the reverse will be true if you've already suffered a stat decrease, that the denominator will increase by 1 for every stage boost until the denominator reaches 2, when the numerator will begin to increase again.

If I breed a female with a ditto holding an everstone, will the offspring have a higher chance of being the ditto's nature?

Also, when you clone using the GPS glitch, can I have my pokemon holding a TM, which will clone, too?
